    Eggs Avocado Benedict

Server never really spoke to me, very quiet and uncomfortable. He brought me water and menu, I ordered and waited 28 minutes for my food. I expected long wait given Sunday after church and busy restaurant so I waited. I got my food and instead of a runny yolk I got a runny white. And this weird meat looking stuff under the egg when I don't eat meat. They didn't check on me until I finished the other egg and some of the hashbrowns and asked how it was and I said alright and he didn't reply just looked at me like I was the problem? I got my check and left. Hollandaise was nice but hard to enjoy when raw whites ran across your plate

I've been in Oregon for the past two weeks and haven't had a chance to get out of bed early enough to enjoy a good breakfast. I was doing a search for nearby breakfast and came across Biscuits Cafe. Inspite of all the negative reviews, I wanted to experience this place myself and give my honest feedback. When we arrived, we had to wait for maybe 10-12 min before we were seated as they were short-staffed. There is a message on their chalkboard that indicated this as well so no big deal. As soon as we were seated, we promptly placed our orders. The food came out in a decent time. My wife had the corn beef hash, daughter had waffles and I had the Almond French toast. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the other dishes as I was mostly fixated on my quest for a French toast. I enjoyed the slight crunch and bits of almonds in the French toast. The texture wasn't soggy or dry- it came out perfect just the way I wanted it to. I complimented my meal a small serving of maple syrup in a mini glass pitcher, a small scoop of butter along with my choice of scrambled eggs and sausage links. The waitress was nice as well as our hostesses who entertained us. They were all friendly and pleasant with smiles all around. The location is less than a few miles from home. I think I'll be back again in the future. One tip if you're planning to go back on Scholls Ferry Road- if you go back down the hill behind the restaurant, you'll be able to head back up to the stop light just passed the roundabout. If you take the other direction you can only make a right on Scholls Ferry as there is an island preventing any left turns.

Overall: Food isn't bad, service needs to be improved. Atmosphere: Cute little diner vibes with lots of seating. Food: Tried the Chicken n Waffles eggs Benedict and it was delicious! It comes as half a portion of waffle. It was topped off with maple cream sauce and bacon bits. The combination of everything tasted great together. I got it with red potatoes on the side and the potatoes were cooked really good and tasted great. Also tried the County Benedict and that was pretty tasty. The gravy, sausage and egg was a great combination. Tried their Biscuits Premium Roast Coffee and it was not a good at all. It tasted really watered down and old. Service: YIKES! We walk in an 1hr-130hr before they are supposed to close and one of the waitresses yells over to the cook to ask wether he wants to cook one more order. After about five or so minutes of them going back and forth they finally decide to not turn us away and seat us. Got seated, looked over the menu, was ready to order. No server ever came to us. We waited about 10-15mins before I got up and let them know that we were ready to order. The girl that took our order was flustered, kept forgetting what we ordered and was just all over the place. Very poor service from everyone we encountered during our experience here.

Be patient with the small staff, it's worth it! Everything was delicious and bountiful. I only had the pick 3 and that was more than enough. Potatoes are pre-prepared with onions for flavor however easily picked out if you dislike chewing onions like me. I ordered hashbrown, however next time I'll definitely get potatoes. I had Almond French toast, and egg whites. I added salt to taste, so if you need low salt these are good without adding. My breakfast partner had chicken fried chicken covered in gravy, he said it was really good and it looked it. I'll definitely be back soon. Join rewards!

i dont think this place deserves the low reviews that it has! i was never really a fan from the times ive tried ordering delivery from here, possibly bc some things didnt pack so well/wasnt fresh when it arrived - but dining in was such a better experience overall! we waited for around 20 minutes on a sunday around noon for a table and took a nice stroll around the area. they were pretty busy and shortstaffed, but service was still great regardless. we ordered the avocado eggs benedict, and chorizo omlet. they both came with a good amount of hash browns (or the side of your choice). the hash browns were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. its great that they have the condiments ready to go for you at the table! (although one or two of them were past the expiration date, so make sure to check!) all in all, a solid breakfast/brunch place to go to. good portions for the price and the food came out fairly quickly.

Food was okay, service was decently good and came fast. Atmosphere was decent, we were not given silver wear with our food either.

My breakfast partner had the veggie hash which was enjoyed very much. I had the Truckstop breakfast with 2 eggs, breakfast potatoes, veggie sausage (comes with your choice of protein), and a cat's head biscuit (that's what we called giant biscuits in the South). The cook prepared the scrambled eggs perfectly - I order eggs "scrambled, soft" but don't always come out that way, but they were expertly on target here. The breakfast potatoes were glorious- a generous serving of perfectly seasoned, fluffy soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, two pieces of tasty vegan sausage, and the biscuit had been sliced and heated on the stove and came with butter and what I suspect might have been housemade berry jam. I am fussy about pancakes and didn't see anyone else with them on their plates (as I rubbernecked around the room to see what people were eating) but I think I'll try one next time, now that I know what an exceptionally good job they did with everything on this first visit. Street parking. Use of their on-line waiting list is encouraged.

There is only neighborhood street parking, FYI. There's only a handful of tables inside (and a couple outside) but the space is nice and cozy. They have both plants and art on the walls for sale. Their menu offers a number of options for both drinks and food. I had a mango mimosa (one of the best mimosas I've had in some time) to drink, and a pancake and the vegetable hash to eat. The pancake was wonderful. The hash was a great mix of veggies and the most perfect poached eggs on top. It was served with a small spring mix salad. My complaint with all the food was that it was just ok. While prepared well, it all lacked flavor. Nothing seasoned or stood out as a great dish. The service was fantastic. A small staff, but they all were doing everything and I believe everyone touched our table throughout our dining experience. I'd go back, but it wouldn't be at the top of my list to revisit.

But one bite in and it was clear it hadn't been warmed. When I mentioned it wasn't fresh, the staff defended it saying it was made the night before. Exactly my point -- if it was made the night before, warm it up. Even Starbucks does that. It was dense, cold, and not enjoyable at all. The coffee I ordered extra hot, and it wasn't. Within a few sips it was already lukewarm. That's a basic request that should be easy to get right. The atmosphere is okay visually, but it's packed with laptop workers and there's barely any space to sit and relax. People treat this place like a co-working space and give you stares if your kid makes any noise. It's a coffee shop, not a library or an office. And the tip screen before you even taste anything? Hard pass on that concept. I carry cash and I tip based on actual experience -- that's how it should work. Service was polite but dismissive when there was a real complaint. Probably won't be back.
