Amazing space! Felt like we were in La La Land the movie. Great ticket prices, good food, nice fast service and staff. Good sound system. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed a new orleans jazz party with Gunhild Carling and her family of musicians this past Saturday. I've seen her perform live at least three times now, at various locations, and her shows never disappoint. Biscuits & Blues was an ideal venue for her performance, an intimate environment, great sound and lighting on stage, and an awesome crowd, a full house, but it didn't feel claustrophobic in the lower level lounge. A nice setup with lovely art and decor to set the mood, starting from the lobby upstairs on street level. Service was friendly and professional, our food was delayed (took a little over 30 minutes), but staff was apologetic. Got the shrimp and grits, grilled salmon fillet, and buttermilk biscuits. All of the items were delish, cooked just right and freshly made, even if the serving sizes were small. The drinks, king sazerac and louisiana lemonade, were tasty too, and the wait for this was not as long. Parking is difficult in the area, but I saw a sign posted on the wall in the lounge, noting they have a special deal with the Mason/O'Farrell parking garage, $10 for three hours, or $15 for 5 hours (see my attached photo for instructions).

Food service is quick and my drink never ran dry. Fantastic southern food ( get the fried chicken) . Been to a couple shows and each time the artists put on a great show. So glad to have found this gem. Great place to take company and enjoy what makes this city so magical.

Biscuits and Blues is the best! Great music, tasty food, attentive staff and distinct drinks! Love this place! Can't wait for the B&B Fan Club! I want the t-shirt, decoder ring and commemorative mugs.

A corner view - super bummed to have this experience.

The performance was great if I could have watched the musicians. Staff weren't too helpful considering the hefty price tag for the ticket. The environment was great and ultimately the only reason we stayed.

We are SF locals, but this was our first time here. Speakeasy vibe. We really enjoyed this place. Ryan was our host. He was always checking on us. Entertainment was great. Loved the music. Food was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

I was expecting very little entertainment venue inside the basement club with $40 cover charge for Blues band. But, when we sat down to sparsely attended club at the far corner of the big basement restaurant and bar, we were pleasantly surprised by the professional Blues Band with above average performance by the singer, lead guitarist, bassist and drummer as well as the conductor/pianist. The initial drinks were watered down and weak but the second set of cocktails were totally different from the first. We were all blown away by the concert and the proficiency of the musicians overall. The sweet potato and garlic toasted asparagus and their famous biscuits with honey butter spread were all decent. I have to say that the band was pretty good. They played nonstop for two hours. The lady was truly amazing blues singer who also sang some of her original songs that were very good. Nice gem. I hope that they will have more audiences in the future.

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

The club was set to close at 2am -- so they start getting everyone together and closing out tabs a 10 minutes or so before it actually closed. I finish my drink and gather my belongings to go to the restroom beforehand. It was occupied at the time ... so I decided not to worry anymore and walk back to my friends. As I'm doing so, I hear the guard rudely speaking to them and telling them to leave. I advised the man that the club was still open at the moment (they had about 5 mins left) and that we actually were heading out then. I also told him that he didn't have to speak to my friends like that - after he had just been joking around with them moments before. Instead of taking accountability, he immediately got an attitude with me and stated that he didn't care about that and it was time to go. Another female guard then popped up randomly and essentially told me to "fix my delivery" and that the man was her brother. To which I replied, that they were both ultimately in the wrong. I understand wanting to leave work but being rude and distasteful towards paying customers isn't the way to do jt. I hope they hire better employees it was a nice place!

There were only two service staff; we could tell they were working hard but they definitely needed more help. We made two trips to the bar and it took about 15-20 minutes to get service. Drinks were decent. A larger group arrived to the left of us, and about 20 minutes after they arrived, the male service worker told us we had to move cause our spot was reserved. Mind you, we'd been there for almost two hours at this point and nobody had mentioned anything about our spot being reserved, and there was no sign holder indicating it either. It was also advertised as a "no cover" event, so curious to know how reservations were even made. He told us we could move over to the wall; which we discovered was right next to the restrooms and the line of users. Not cool. We then noticed that the larger group had spread out and taken our spot; were we supposed to believe these were the supposed "reservation" holders and not just your friends? Overall, just another mediocre bar that caters to the people they know. Not much concern for new customers, so we have no interest in returning or recommending to anyone. Plenty of other bars in the city; better bars that won't make you feel inferior.
