Great little spot with unique bites and drinks. Was expecting more cats, but I got there when they just opened so maybe they hadn't quite gotten everything together yet the bartender Nathan was great very knowledgeable. If you just let them know what you'd like to taste was great with suggestions or even making unique drinks for you.

Our group of almost 15 people was lucky to find seating in a back area on a busy Friday night. The space itself has many cat decorations, and we walked through the bar and some limited seating to make our way to the back. We ordered a wide variety of drinks, and I tried their Lychee-tini. It was perfectly balanced! Loved the floral and sweet flavor of the drink. The Manila to Tokyo had a great pandan taste, and The Peach & Cherry Blossoms drink had a great blend of floral and lemon-y/yuzu taste. My personal favorite was my friend's Manila to Tokyo. My friends and I alrso tried their garlic fries, which were perfectly crispy. The place had good vibes and good music that night. Prices are reasonable for the drinks, which had a decent portion size and were of great quality. There's a cute cat on display!

This was a last minute spot for us to end our night, and it was such a pleasant surprise! I was on the hunt for one last lycheetini to end my night and saw this spot had one and decided to give it a try. It wasn't busy at all, so service was super quick. I got the lycheetini and my boyfriend decided to give the thai tea milk punch a try. The lycheetini was on par with others I've had in the city. Light and refreshing with a nice lychee garnish. The thai tea milk punch was AMAZING!!! I don't do dark liquor at all, so I was hesitant to even try it, but it was SOO good, dare I say better than my lycheetini! It resembled a thai tea almost identically, and you could not taste the liquor at all. There was an option to add thai tea foam that we opted out of, but I wanna go back just to try that! It was pretty slow, so there was a lot of space to sit and enjoy a drink. I loved the halloween decorations they had as well. Great spot for yummy asian inspired cocktails!

Cool little bar in San Francisco, sadly the drink I specifically came for based on pictures was no longer available. They serve food here and quite a few people had dogs here and they weren't service animals which kinda seems like a cross contamination for dining guests and drinkers. Luckily I was staying at a hotel close by since parking is nearly impossible by this location

Drinks are so great! It was a Lost Dog night, not a Lost Cat night lol (see pictures). The dog was so sweet, and came up to cuddle and check in on every table. Dumpster Cat and the other drinks we tried were tasty, but not too strong. Wasn't a fan of the sticky tables and door handles. But I do love low lighting spots and quiet background music, and this place checked off both those boxes!

I had heard there was a real live cat at this bar, and as a cat lover I knew I had to come check it out. Though the cat didn't make an appearance, my friend and I still had a good experience overall! We arrived around 630pm on a Friday and there were a few parties inside, but it was still empty enough to pick wherever wanted to sit. We each ordered a drink and some food to share. Even though the portions didn't look big when they were brought out, we were surprisingly full by the end. - Lychee-tini: this drink is often too sweet and syrupy for my taste, but it was so good here! It was perfectly balanced, not too sweet but also without too strong of an alcohol flavor. - Event Horizon: I'm a sucker for gin and elderflower drinks so obviously had to get this. It was very good but wish the elderflower flavor was just a tad stronger. - Personal pizza with pepperoni: I never expect much from bar food, but if you like focaccia and pizzas with thick but airy crusts, you'll like this. It was perfectly cheesy and saucy, and I like that the pepperoni was layered in between all the melted cheese. - Oven baked wings with gochujang sauce: the wings were tender and super saucy. Definitely very strong gochujang flavor too. The bar emptied out a bit over dinner time, but more groups started coming in around 8pm (as we were headed out bc we were tired LOL). I can't speak to the vibes later at night, but it was a nice place to catch up with friends or have a casual date - the music was a good volume where you could yap without having to yell or struggle to hear. The cat theme details were very cute too, but I appreciated that it also wasn't overdone and super kitschy. Staff also mostly left us alone (yay) but were attentive when we needed something. Overall, very happy I finally got to stop by and will be back to try some other drinks!

Came in late night after a show. Bartenders were quick to provide menus when we walked in. Got our drinks and sat in the lounge chairs away from the bar. It was very cutely decorated, dark, and not too loud with the music playing. Love the music selection here.

Cute hidden gem on Post St! Stumbled upon The Lost Cat during the Christmas season, the cozy vibes was matched with festive, charming holiday decor. They had a seasonal drink menu, we tried the Lychee tini & Manila to Tokyo (made with Mugi shochu, pandan, lime, yuzu liqueur, makrut leaves). Both were delicious, but the Manila to Tokyo stole the show, we liked it so much & ordered another round. We also got garlic fries, which were crispy, golden, and loaded with garlic in the best way possible. Service was amazing & the bartender was entertaining. Great spot to hang out with friends & sip on good cocktails. I'd come back to try more of their menu!

My friend and I decided to come to San Francisco to visit for the weekend. We found a really cool neighborhood dive bar called the Los Cat Bar & Bites. The drinks were made really well and our bartender was awesome. Very personable and I wish I remembered his name to give him a shout out. We ordered a few items to eat and everything was really good. I would recommend this place for sure if you were looking for a nice bar with good service especially if you were not planning on doing a big night out. I would come back here for sure!

Came here on a random Tuesday night and had such a great time! The vibes were super cute and cozy. Even though it was packed, everyone still had space to sit or stand and enjoy themselves, which made it feel lively but not overwhelming. They were playing anime (AOT, to be specific) on the TV (which I loved), and the Christmas decorations, mixed with the cat decor, were adorable. The whole place just felt fun and welcoming. The food was amazing -- I had the chicken skewers and the truffle fries, and both were delicious. Drinks were just as good. The Dumpster Cat cocktail was sooo good, definitely a must-try. They also had this incredible Christmas shot (I forgot the name), but I wish they served it as a full cocktail. Mia was my bartender, and she was awesome! Her mom also works there, and they were both so friendly and welcoming. You can really tell they care about the atmosphere and the people who come in. Overall, such a great spot with good food, great drinks, and fun vibes. I'll definitely be back!

Super cute and cozy bar, loved the Halloween decor; it was low-key after the show on a Saturday night. Grabbed a few seats at the bar and the bartender was super friendly; the Lycheetini was delicious and spinach dip was perfect to snack on between drinks. It was bumpin later on into the Saturday evening with a random array of audience. Would come back and hang again.

We were in SF for a wedding over the weekend, so me and my husband wanted to check out some bars the night before. We stumbled upon Lost Cat Bar & Bites nearby our hotel. We ordered two rounds of drinks because the first ones that we tried were soo delicious that we wanted to try more things on the menu LOL. The first round, we got a Kluay Yai and a Strawberry Bee. My husband loved his drink (Kluay Yai), which was a creamy rum-based drink with banana liqueur and pandan. It reminds me of a Vietnamese desert with the refreshing pandan flavor, so yummy. My drink was really good too, very fruity and sweet with the combo of strawberry, honey, and lemon. For our second round, my husband went with the Thai Tea Milk Punch and I tried the Manila to Tokyo. At first, the Thai Tea drink was really strong, as we forgot to mix the bourbon together with the coconut milk + Thai Tea cream top LOL. Once we mixed it, it tasted fine. I really enjoyed my second drink as well, it was on the lighter side since it was with shochu, however the pandan paired together with the yuzu was so fresh and refreshing. Honestly, this bar might have the best pandan-flavored drinks that I've ever had - other places that we've been to, the flavor has either been too light and gets overpowered by other ingredients. Everything that we had here with pandan really highlighted the flavor. Overall, I would definitely come back, as the drinks were fire and the vibes were fun. It's a cat-themed bar, so lots of cat decorations; for Halloween, they also had spooky cat decor and played horror movies in the background. Great vibes!

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

A bartender who sat with you to talk about the menu, the process, and your experience very passionately and intently.  However, I think that the bar program is a little unrefined. Every drink had 10,000 ingredients, and most of them did not work together. If the drink did work together, you just tasted nothing because everything blended together and you couldn't taste any special or fun ingredients.  Unfortunately, I don't think this spot is worth looking for.

Seeing that it was named one of the top 50 best bars in North American, we had to check it out! We came in a Thursday night in mid-April about 9:45 PM. They have security outside thar checks IDs & also manages the queue in case the bar gets too crowded. We had no issues getting in, but there were zero indoor seats available - both the bar & table seating. Thankfully, they have a really cozy & well-lit patio area. The waitress let us know that even the outdoor patio has table-side service, so we made ourselves comfortable on the outdoor bench & within seconds she had brought us waters & cocktail menus. Weather outside was really nice, so I'm glad we actually sat outside. Each cocktail is $20, which definitely is a little steep, but I think the creativity, quality, & prestige of being named a top 50 bar supports the price. Each part of the menu is organized by liquor ie whiskey, vodka, brandy, gin, etc. We tried 4 drinks total. I only took menu photos of the pages we ordered from but they have a lot more selections. We ordered the Kung Fu Pandan, Silky Street, Rice Rice Baby, & Tropical Gangsta. We had some favorites over others, but all were very well crafted! The drinks came out pretty quickly considering how busy it was. The only hiccup was our final drink took quite a while. Turns out the ticket machine malfunctioned & deleted orders put in & caused a back-up. The waitress was so apologetic & ended up comp-ing 2 drinks, which she definitely didn't have to but it speaks volumes to the high standards they hold themselves to & their customer service. Overall, highly highly recommend checking this place out for a fun night out or post-dinner treat! Glad we made the decision to stop in!
