The lore was worth the hype. On a Saturday morning at 8:30AM there was already a line! I recommend putting in your order on your walk over. However, waiting for you name to be called from the to-go stand is part of the fun. I also loved the "sassy" customer service experience. The brand is true to name. The vegetarian biscuit option was everything I dreamed of. Definitely add it to your list if you are staying in the downtown Seattle area. There isn't a place to sit nearby, but I just brought it back to my hotel room. Beware of seagulls/birds if you are choosing to eat nearby. I love biscuits but often time they are too dry. Wasn't the case at all for this place! I was here when they opened up for the day right before heading out to hike Mt Rainier. Dude up at the front was super friendly took my order and I waited for my food. The kiosk was set up outside the restaurant and another table for where to pick up your order. After a short wait a lady came up and gave me my order. The entire staff was so friendly and had such good energy for a 730am morning. I had ordered the biscuit that had egg and sausage and they gave me all the sauces they had the jam and hot sauce. That hot sauce had a kick and the jam was top tier with the biscuit. I enjoyed the entire thing throughly. I wish we had one in California! This will definitely be a pit stop for me when I'm in the area! Such a delicious spot! read more

Worth the wait and hype! Highly recommend ordering ahead online as wait times can get a bit high. I was hanging out in Pike Place so the text my food was ready gave me a couple minutes to walk to the shop. Bacon Bitchwich was a perfect flakey biscuit with hot eggs, gooey american cheese and delicious bacon. No complaints. Garlic Cheesy Grits was heavyyyy on the garlic. Too much where it lingers long after you've finished, but still tasty. 7/10 Seating is lacking, but it's a to go spot. Recommend taking your food and heading to the picnic tables in Pike Place:) read more

The food was amazing! I got the sausage Bitchwitch, and whatever is in the Bitchy sauce is incredible! So delicious. My husband got the Hot Mess Bitch and loved his too, even though he misread the ingredients and forgot to ask for no jalapeños (I gladly took them from him!). The garlic grits in his were really good. The employees playfully call you "bitch" the entire time which was so fun! Haha. I recommend this place, we loved it! We forgot to take pictures of our food because we were so excited to try everything. read more

We came on a Friday morning around 9AM and ordered through their window. The service was really good as the people who took our order were very kind. It took about 20 minutes to received our order. The biscuit sandwiches were a hit! They come in fairly large sizes so I wouldn't worry about needing anything else besides that. I'll admit that I prefer the hot link over the sausage because of the flavors that comes with a hot link. read more

You can trust this "bitch" along the Seattle waterfront and you better believe that you can tell this story without saying their name over and over again. Located along 1st Street in the heart of downtown Seattle, Biscuit Bitch comes from owner Kimmie Spice, who named her brunch spot that specializes in crafting its eponymous name and chose to add the later half of their name, with the goal of taking the word back as in her mind it describes a strong, confident woman who won't take "no" for an answer. Begun over 25 years ago with multiple locations, Biscuit Bitch is now down to just two stand-alone restaurants, one in nearby Belltown, and this, their signature location which is on a busy stretch where the main tourist artery known as Pike's Place Market and downtown Seattle intersect. What brought me here on a cold winter's weekday visit was the fact that I was in town on business and had some time on my hands, as I was staying in a hotel along the nearby Seattle waterfront area, and was looking for a place to get a quick takeout breakfast item. After searching my trusty Yelp app, what would come up but the Biscuit Bitch. Once checking out their menu and being intrigued with their origins and name, I was sold on making a long walk down 1st Street in the cold Seattle morning. What makes this location of Biscuit Bitch stand out is that they are basically a food stand where you can either order at their front door which serves as a front counter or you can order via a QR code that they post at their front door, you enter your phone number and they text your smart phone when your order is confirmed and ready for pick up. Ordering this way allows them to have customers hang out on 1st Street waiting for their order to be completed, and they no longer have to open their restaurant for customers to loiter inside once they do order. The menu is straightforward at Biscuit Bitch as it biscuits and the word bitch is highlighted in every menu item. I ordered their Cheesy Pork 'N Bitch which was their signature biscuit topped with gravy smothered in cheese and topped with crispy crumbled bacon. To pair with my meal, I also ordered a side of their Cheesy Garlic Grits. My total bill was $21.52 before gratuity was added in, which in retrospect was actually decent considering the price of food these days and how much food I would receive with my order. They do post that it takes roughly fifteen minutes from ordering to having your number called for pickup, they were not kidding, it would take that long and then some. As I walked back to my hotel to enjoy my meal, it would take additional time for me to open my takeout boxes to actually eat my meal, which would mean that my two takeout items would get even colder before I could dig in. Upon returning to my room where I could eat everything, it was lukewarm of which I do not blame Biscuit Bitch one bit, but since the meal was already heavy it melded everything together, which would affect the overall flavor of my meal. I do think since we are talking about items such as gravy and grits things should be seasoned and with the items I ordered this visit neither were able to meet my higher standards. Overall it wasn't a memorable meal, as the biscuit was dry and things were under-seasoned. But the staff really cares about bringing quality southern-inspired cuisine to the local Seattle foodie scene and for that I am grateful as their menu items are numerous and varied. I will have to make a second visit to Biscuit Bitch as I hope I caught them on a not-so-great day, as they leave you wanting more, I can still say thanks bitch for an affordable, convenient, hearty brunch time meal in the Emerald City! read more

We decided to stop here on the recommendation of a friend. You order from a small window (music is loud and obnoxious and the place is chaotic ) and they shout your order back to the cooks. We got a bacon b, a sausage b and a couple of plain biscuits for our girls. The biscuits: fresh and fluffy and buttery. The breakfast sandwiches come with a savory pink sauce which I wasn't expecting but it wasn't too bad. Overall the place sort of lived up to the hype taste wise, it's really pretty simple actually. Biscuits are easy to mess up and they seem to have the formula down for a good biscuit. The place, it's just really tiny and a bit annoying to order over loud rap music and from a tiny window. Would I return , likely yes because the biscuits with the honey butter and jam are tasty! read more

As good a choice as any for a quick and easy breakfast to start off the day. Wanted to try out on the recommendation of a buddy who knows his stuff when it comes to food. Got the Gritty Scrambled Cheesy B****, which let us try everything from their Biscuits and Gravy to the near perfect Scrambled Eggs and Garlic Grits. Only thing to note, they do not have sit down dining available, so this is one of few instances I would recommend ordering for pick up rather than dining in. Came here because of the reviews but it was just ok. There's really no seating area so it's a to go place. We were able to find a little table outside but there were also flies because the garbage wasn't picked up and over flowing. The service was as expected...be prepared to wait around 35 mins for ur food. When i went back to ask if they would take my phone number to text me back the lady responded with "what's up bitch?" I guess it's expected but took my by surprise...i laughed it off once I figured it was in the name of the restaurant. I got the sausage bitch biscuit and my friend got the hot mess bitch. The biscuits are good but not better than other restaurants. The sausage on the hot mess was pretty spicy and has some heat. All in all an average meal and experience. read more

Great breakfast place! Now I can see if it's raining out you might not be as amused as we were but we enjoyed the employees as much as we did the food. They are unapologetically sassy and hilarious! The biscuits are large, flaky, and freshly made with a variety of options for fixin's. There are a few tables outside where you can eat, but no indoor seating (thus the rain comment). Ordered the spicy Louisiana sausage, egg and cheese brisket sandwich with the special sauce and a Gluten free biscuit (cost $1.09 extra). Second sandwich was a sausage, cheese and egg brisket sandwich, with Jalapeños (add on side), and extra cheese! Literally heaven in my mouth! Biscuit Bitch is a popular breakfast spot that I had the pleasure of being able to visit on a trip to Seattle. Upon walking up there's a cashier outside waiting to take your order by asking what can I get for you Bitch he was very comical. I ordered a Sausage egg and cheese sandwich my only complaint is that I asked for no egg and was told that the egg came on the sandwich they could not make me one without the egg, which was fine I just took the egg off. The wait was about 30 minutes as they had a constant flow of customers. There's no inside seating available, there are a few tables and chairs outside, we were lucky enough not to have to wait too long for a seat. Just listening to the workers here call our names for the orders is entertaining in itself, they give you sass but in just a playful enough way. I tried the cheesy pork n' bitch, it was pretty good, but it got a little salty after eating it for a while. What can I say? The food was great, the iced coffee was fantastic and the service was top notch. If you are easily offended don't come here. You get welcomed by someone saying "Good morning bitches!" I don't know about you,, but it brightened my morning up. The place is small, they have some great signs inside talking about serving up sarcasm and what not and I loved every bit of it. Oh my, what a delicious, hearty breakfast! I suggest you order online and then walk over to pick it up. During busy times, the wait could be up to 45 minutes. Make sure you select the location; it's in a small font so not obvious. You will get a text when your order is ready. The Hot Mess Bitch (biscuits, sausage gravy, Cheddar grits, eggs over easy, and hot links) is indeed a hot mess. When you poke the eggs and the yolks start flowing out, they smother the Cheddar grits smothering the sausage gravy smothering the biscuits. It's a hot mess and I loved it. The Seattle Fog (Earl Grey tea with milk and orange zest) is an amazing drink on a cold day. There are a few small outdoor tables if you want to eat and drink there. My husband and I tried biscuit bitch back in 2017 while we were on vacation and have talked about it every day since. Now, 7 years later, we've finally made it back to Seattle and knew this was a must have spot. We were afraid we've hyped this place so much and our expectations were too high, but I can tell you that we were still so in love with Biscuit Bitch. A different set-up, I assume a post Covid change, of no inside area at all, in fact the former inside is now blocked off with the hostess stand in the doorway. You're greeted by a host or you can scan a QR code and order digitally and contactless. We opted the QR code and after about a 15 minute wait, we got our food. Seating isn't an issue because the neighboring business has seats that everyone uses. We ordered a Bitchwich hot link and bitchwich sausage sandwich with a side of gravy. Took a trip to the gum wall alley to leave my mark. Got my sausage bitchwitch and enjoyed it thoroughly. Quite substantial, the biscuit was buttery, crispy and crumbly. It was a tasty combo with the cheese, sausage, egg and bitchy sauce. They have a few little tables on the side of the store that are FCFS. We always come here when we are in Seattle! We love staying at the Thompson hotel because it's right next to Biscuit Bitch! We always try a different sandwich when we come. Discovered this gem via TikTok! We were heading down to the market and stopped by for breakfast. Found parking close by and walked over to the location. Heads up this is a to-go spot or sit outside with a few table options. Ordered the Bitchwich- Bacon, egg, and cheese. They have lots of options but wanted to stick with a breakfast classic. They are busy so patience is key. Once our order was ready... it was worth every moment of the wait. The biscuits are FRESH, buttery, and flaky. Super flavorful and just delicious. I hadn't heard of Biscuit Bitch until my coworkers mentioned it, and even then, I was a bit hesitant to try it. But while walking toward the Space Needle, I came across their 3rd Ave location and figured I'd grab a quick breakfast before heading over. The line at the 3rd Ave spot wasn't bad at all, and I have to say--it was the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had! So naturally, I had to check out their other location near Pike Place before leaving Seattle. This spot was way busier (probably due to being close to the market), and the wait was significantly longer. History

Biscuit Bitch was born as a Late Night Weekend Breakfast pop-up in February 2010. At that time, I was unemployed and living in an apartment upstairs from Caffe Lieto. I asked the owner of the cafe, Rena, if I could use her kitchen space at night when she was closed to experiment with late night breakfast food. She loved the idea and we started collaborating. Rena, a skilled barista, coffee snob and self proclaimed "bitch" came up with the Biscuit Bitch name and I set to work creating the recipes, item names and business plan. The Late Night Bitch plodded along for two years, never turning a profit. Then in 2012, I purchased the cafe from Rena and opened 7 days a week. My vision was a cafe with a super welcoming staff; a warm, friendly place, in a city that can sometimes seem snooty and cold. I lucked out with my awesome family of staff who share my vision and work their asses off to achieve it. Look at us now! Opening our third location in 2016. What a ride! -Kimmie Spice, owner

A self-taught home cook who became interested in the art of cooking when she lived in a trailer park in Florida in the 90's, Kimmie Spice, owner, learned to cook while her children were napping. "I'd watch cooking shows like The French Chef, Yan Can Cook and The Frugal Gourmet, but my favorite show was Cookin' Cajun with Justin Wilson," Spice recalls, "The chef was a Louisiana humorist and storyteller, and I thought he was brilliant! He'd add a little wine to food and then a little wine to the chef by taking a big chug out of the bottle and saying, 'Ooowee! I Guar-On-Tee!' That show taught me that cooking doesn't have to be taken so seriously. It can be riotous fun, simple and delicious all at the same time.
