When we landed in Seattle a friend had told me we needed to try Biscuit Bitch. This place is close to Pike Place Market and we got there early enough to get parking near by and was able to snag 1 of 2 tables they had available to eat at. Wait time when we got there was 15-20 minutes but it got busy minutes after we ordered. You have to scan a QR that takes you to their menu and you order online and they call you when the food is ready. What caught me and my sister off guard is the staff uses "bitch" a lot so if you're very sensitive about being called a bitch or someone saying something like "Jesse your order is ready, bitch!" Or "I believe you bitch" then I'd pass on this location. It caught me off guard but it was funny and made us laugh. I'm not a fan of biscuits but since it was highly recommended by a friend I had to try and I'm glad I did. The biscuit was warm and not dry and was moist it was falling apart (in a good way) this is not your run of the mill McDonald's egg McMuffin this way better haha I'm sorry to say but I wasn't a fan of the Seattle Fog but wished I stayed a "basic bitch" and had ordered a vanilla latte but overall I liked the food. My sister liked hers but she doesn't like biscuits either or grits so she didn't rate this spot highly. But I would definitely eat here and recommend you try it at least once and maybe order and eat it somewhere near Pike Place over looking the ocean because although we got lucky and got a table there was only 2 chairs per table available and we got harassed by pigeons lol read more

Food was great. Sunday morning at 8:45 there was already a wait. But it wasn't a big deal. I ordered my food and then walked over to Storyville coffee and had an excellent cup of coffee. Place an order online before you walk down here. Looks like it's a ~45 min wait on the weekend. I got their Bitchin' Combo with a sausage Bitchwich, cheesy grits and a drip coffee. Everything was good, and the bitchwich was huge! I didn't get to finish it. I also got a side of sausage gravy because despite the biscuit being fluffy, it also felt dry so I felt like I had to put gravy on every bite. When online ordering, make sure you click to include utensils if you're getting grits!! I forgot it was an option so we only got a straw & sugar for my coffee in the to-go bag. Sadly I didn't realize until we got up to our hotel room (btw there is no seating around this place - we didn't try looking for outdoor seating by Pike Place). Begun over 25 years ago with multiple locations, Biscuit Bitch is now down to just two stand-alone restaurants, one in nearby Belltown, and this, their signature location which is on a busy stretch where the main tourist artery known as Pike's Place Market and downtown Seattle intersect. What brought me here on a cold winter's weekday visit was the fact that I was in town on business and had some time on my hands, as I was staying in a hotel along the nearby Seattle waterfront area, and was looking for a place to get a quick takeout breakfast item. After searching my trusty Yelp app, what would come up but the Biscuit Bitch. Once checking out their menu and being intrigued with their origins and name, I was sold on making a long walk down 1st Street in the cold Seattle morning. What makes this location of Biscuit Bitch stand out is that they are basically a food stand where you can either order at their front door which serves as a front counter or you can order via a QR code that they post at their front door, you enter your phone number and they text your smart phone when your order is confirmed and ready for pick up. Ordering this way allows them to have customers hang out on 1st Street waiting for their order to be completed, and they no longer have to open their restaurant for customers to loiter inside once they do order. The menu is straightforward at Biscuit Bitch as it biscuits and the word bitch is highlighted in every menu item. I ordered their Cheesy Pork 'N Bitch which was their signature biscuit topped with gravy smothered in cheese and topped with crispy crumbled bacon. To pair with my meal, I also ordered a side of their Cheesy Garlic Grits. My total bill was $21.52 before gratuity was added in, which in retrospect was actually decent considering the price of food these days and how much food I would receive with my order. They do post that it takes roughly fifteen minutes from ordering to having your number called for pickup, they were not kidding, it would take that long and then some. As I walked back to my hotel to enjoy my meal, it would take additional time for me to open my takeout boxes to actually eat my meal, which would mean that my two takeout items would get even colder before I could dig in. Upon returning to my room where I could eat everything, it was lukewarm of which I do not blame Biscuit Bitch one bit, but since the meal was already heavy it melded everything together, which would affect the overall flavor of my meal. I do think since we are talking about items such as gravy and grits things should be seasoned and with the items I ordered this visit neither were able to meet my higher standards. Overall it wasn't a memorable meal, as the biscuit was dry and things were under-seasoned. But the staff really cares about bringing quality southern-inspired cuisine to the local Seattle foodie scene and for that I am grateful as their menu items are numerous and varied.
