The servers weren't clear about the spice levels and we ordered spicy which turned out to be too hot for our palates. We've tried a variety of the menu--the Chicken, Egg, and Veg Biryanis are all flavorful. For curries, the Paneer Lababdar and Dal Makhini are rich and creamy, pairing perfectly with their fresh Roti. We also love the Hariyali Chicken and the Noodles (this place is very kid-friendly, which makes dining out much easier!). It's also a versatile spot--sometimes we just pop in for a few drinks and quick snacks. You can't go wrong with their Peanut Masala and Pakoras if you just want something light to munch on. The place is well furnished and properly lit for the time of day. I came alone but this would make a great date night spot. Although I did have a little wait to order it wasn't too long. I am well traveled, and I understand that in other countries dinning is not the rushed experience that we know here in the USA. This is more of a traditional let us know when you are ready vibe. I ordered my food and drink. For the drink I requested beer from the tap but I was refused 2x on back to back selections as the beer was not currently available. Although disappointing they did EVERYTHING to make this right. I can't ask for more than that. When dinning everything is not going to be perfect, we are human but the fact you care enough to own up to the problem and make an effort to compensate for a failure means so much to me. The food was a 10 of 10. I had Chicken Sukka and both Butter Nann and Garlic Nann. I am a fan of both Nann. I ordered the Chicken Sukka spicy. I love spice and thought was just the right amount of heat for me. If you dont absolutely love spice I would suggest a milder option but if you are a spice fan this is for you. I broke a 72-hour fast with their chicken dom biryani, a dish I'd never had despite being a fan of Indian cuisine. I wouldn't say it was an elusive 10/10, but it was absolutely a 9/10, especially for the modest price after the Door Dash discount for takeout--and in a fasted state, it was downright ecstatic. Most of the food tastes okay, but nothing really stands out. One concern I've noticed is that whenever I ordered goat biryani or goat sukha, I experienced dehydration later at night. The ambiance is the best I have seen for an Indian restaurant in Northern Virginia. Service is very quick but needs to be polished on the service aspect. For example no one came to check and see how the food was after it was delivered. All of the food was good except for the chat which was too dry and the biryani that lacked flavor. The naan, tandoori chicken and the chicken in curry leaves were my favorite. Prices are also very reasonable especially these days. Will definitely be back. read more

Had avoided this place for a long time due to bad reviews, but it seems like it has come under new management and been born again. You get lots of food for the price and the flavor is authentic. I also quite like how when it gets busy, they have someone sitting outside with the to-go orders so as to not crowd up the restaurant. My friend and cousin of the owner recommended the Chicken 65 and Butter Chicken, which did not disappoint! The butter chicken was deliciously creamy and absolutely melted in my mouth. Along with the garlic naan, I was already in heaven. Then the chicken 65 came in with a bit of spice to bring me back to earth, just so I could experience heaven again. If you are going to order for dinner, try to order a while before you want to eat because it can take a while for them to make your order once they get busy. I tried to order takeout today from Uber eats and one of the things I wanted was not an option on the menu so I tried to call the restaurant and whoever answered the phone was the most obnoxious most rude person I have ever encountered. I will never order from them again. There are too many great Indian restaurants with wonderful service Instead of this arrogant little girl who decided that she was going to tell me what I was gonna do instead of taking my money. I don't care how good your food is when you have someone who is your first impression who treats people like that and she literally told me that she was gonna talk first and I had to listen... When I was trying to ask questions about how to order something and she continue to talk over me and never bothered to even understand the question that I was asking. Beyond unprofessional beyond rude and I don't care how good your food is. I will never in 1 million years come back to any of your establishments because apparently this is the way you think it's OK to run your front line. After me to the restaurant business for 44 years, I would have fired her on the spot and if I did that I would have been fired on the spot. So just so you know it was the stone Ridge location around 6:10 PM on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Whoever answered that phone should never work for you. I will never go to any of your establishments just based on the way that she spoke to me. Our friends recommended this restaurant as it had become their regular hangout place in Aldie, so we heard a lot about it. The food was delicious, perfect amount of spiciness for my Indian palette. As a north indian I found the south indian influence refreshingly different, making me want to try everything as it was a great change from the usual mughlai style Indian food. Heard from a friend that they have good Biriyani. What is a Biriyani, you ask? It's a layered, rich , aromatic, spicy rice dish. It can be chicken, lamb, veggie, egg etc biriyani. My fav was the salt and pepper mushroom, crunchy and flavorful. We also ordered dal makhani (lentil), Bhindi masala (okra) , both were so good. Also had chicken tikka masala for the kids, yumm! Peanut masala, szhezwan noodles, Gobi Manchurian ( cauliflower) and finally topped it off with apricot bread pudding. The Biriyani lacked the depth I was expecting. The rice was too plain and lacked flavor. My recommendation... go to Biriyani and order anything but Biriyani and you will have a hit. Every other dish was flavorful, spiced just right and delicious! This place just opened and we have ordered from them twice already. Absolutely love the lamb sukha. Good quality of meat and very tasty. The andra chicken curry was also yummy. The chicken dum biryani was flavorful and the chili chicken was full of flavor. The chilli chicken could have been a little more crispy though. The spice level was accurate based on my request of it being medium spicy and non of the items were too greasy. The worker was also kind enough to bring the food to my car.
