Loving the new expanded refreshing menu! We came in tonight for a date happy hour. I got their line 39 sav Blanc at $9 a glass. Beet humus with plenty of pita chips $10 AND individual chucuterri $14. Such friendly staff, very helpful finding a drink you'll like! I have been since the remodel for drinks with friends, family dinner with kiddos and dates! Great place to work from during the afternoons too! read more

Went here on 12\13 for some wine and a bite. Things started out well and the seafood dip and peanut butter beer were excellent. Then things took a turn for the worse as the service got worse and the ambiance changed a bit when live music started playing. It became clear that the staff could not handle the larger customer base as there were only two people serving drinks and food, because the third one was too busy drinking and giving high fives to people at the bar instead of helping. I went to the bar a few times to put a food order in by the staff was too busy on the floor, while the third person at the bar did see me but didn't bother to help. read more

This spot left quite the impression on me because of the amazing, top of the line, stellar customer service. Everyone was friendly, tentative, and welcoming. We had a blast. The wines were delicious and the food is incredibly good especially for a winery. Staff shared that they don't have a kitchen but they're definitely producing magic in the back. I highly recommend one of their activities whether it's live music, bingo night, or anything else but it's just a great place to hang out if you want delicious wine, and great food. read more

If you're looking for an intimate spot for wine tasting WineStyles in Chantilly is the spot. We tasted five different wines with a cheese board. We also ordered a crab dip and a flight of beer. Service was great and everything tasted great. Nice relaxing atmosphere. They also have live music on Fridays. Definitely worth checking out read more

This place is less than 15 mins from my house so why I've waited this long to try is beyond me! I stopped in for a Friday afternoon/evening treat and was pleasantly surprised. I didn't eat much, but the wine selection was enough for me that Friday! I was pleasantly surprised to see the food options available, mostly dips, charcuterie, pizzas, etc - next time I will try and report back! I was compelled enough to join the wine club - 2 bottles a month for $45/month with plenty of discounts available in-store for members. I can't wait to return. It's a great place for girls wine nights or even date night. read more

I have dropped in to buy a few nice wines over the years. The owner and her manager have been really nice and helpful. Most of what they have are good bottles at good price points plus some of the common wines people usually purchase. They also have tastings some evenings and host smaller community events. read more

I can't believe I've lived in South Ridding for two years and I just only went to Winestyles for the first time this week! I tried the wine yesterday and went again today for Oktoberfest. I would highly recommend! The staff was friendly and I had great vibes. read more

This is a cute little neighborhood wine bar. We visited on a weekday early afternoon, so we had the place to ourselves and received VIP treatment. I think right now they have a special where you buy 6 bottles for $60 and you can mix and match. I love that they have good wine that is not outrageously expensive. This place has hundreds of wines. They also have probably around 6 craft beers on tap. You can choose to order a flight, if you wish to sample most of the beers. They hosts many events like wine tastings, live music, open mic nights, and much more. They serve food that pairs well with wine. Plus, the staff is super friendly. Overall, 5 stars. Fun, affordable, and cute. read more

It's the friendly neighborhood CHEERs but for wine lovers. Tucked in a suburban shopping center but operated with warmth of small business. I stopped by and nearly crashed a private event going on indoors but the patrons and staff were still very friendly and helpful.. I had a nice glass of rose and small charcuterie plate. It was much more bigger portion than expected! They just resumed live music on Fridays so hope to be back when I can enjoy it inside. The patio got a slightly too chilly for me to stay long (I'm a Floridian). read more

Service is fine and I like the vibe but yet another place adding ridiculous fees that they don't tell you about. If you're not a member, $10 PER BOTTLE to open your wine which you find out about when they bring the bill. Basically makes the bottle price the same as by the glass. Unfortunate ending to an otherwise pleasant evening. read more

Terrible since new management took over. For months they had no hours posted for when they were open. I've gone there several times when they are supposed to be open over the last two months and they are closed. Today was no exception. They were supposed to be open from 2 PM to 10 PM on Saturday, but the place is dark and locked at almost 2:30. read more

Love this little shop! This is a fun place to go in for a glass of wine or beer or a little tasting. The shop does different tastings time to time. Pricing is very moderate. They seem to have a decent selection of take home wine and beer. Better to buy here and support a local owner than to buy in giant next door. A few tables outside, plenty of indoor seating. Friendly staff. read more

Great wine selection in a relaxed setting. Friendly staff and the best charcuterie you'll find on the area. Live music on the weekends. Highly recommend. You won't be dissapointed. read more

Excellent place to hang out for wine and small plates. Love the people, service and friends I've made

I would be remiss if I did not update my review of this wonderful neighborhood gem. The new owners, Sandy and Mike, have done a tremendous job of getting the shelves stocked with some really great wines and bringing life back into this place. Come in on a Friday night and you will struggle to find a seat, but you will enjoy a lively atmosphere with great hosts, friendly patrons and live music. New to Wine Styles, if you have not been in a while - beer taps! Also new to Wine Styles - no corkage fee to wine club members if you decide to enjoy a bottle in the store! We have been wine club members since 2012 when we moved to South Riding and have rarely been disappointed with one of the selections. With the larger selection of wines available on the shelves, we find our selves stopping in more than we should. Food options have expanded a bit and let me just say the chicken salad is delicious. I love the addition of the charcuterie plates too. Everything is always fresh. If you are looking for a casual setting to hang with a few friends, they have a corner with couches near the front window where the tasting bar used to be. Wine tastings and beer tastings are still free to members. Special events have included wine tastings with small snacks (Nickel and Nickel, Grgich Hills and Mondavi to mention a few), a wine dinner with Ciro's in Stone Ridge as well as parties for Halloween and New Year's Eve. Many of the staff members have worked at Wine Styles so long they have become good friends. Newer staff members are equally friendly and welcoming. Everyone is knowledgeable and does their best to ensure you have a great experience whether just purchasing a bottle to take home or enjoying some time relaxing in the store. Do yourself a favor and support our local South Riding Wine Styles. It's nice to have a place like this close to home. If you haven't been for a while, give it another chance. You won't be disappointed! read more

I love wine styles very much their food is amazing and gourmet but very pricey and I probably wouldn't go there for a full meal but for an appetizer or a light snack wasn't very busy so I got more service than usual but sometimes I walk by and there are patty's so I'm not sure if they help you plan and host parties or cater but is a nice place to hang out with your friends for a couple hours read more

My friends and I enjoy going to WineStyles every now and then during the weekend when we don't feel like traveling too far from the Chantilly area. They have a large wine selection (smaller beer selection and usually 3 beers on tap). Bottle service is very inexpensive compared to other restaurant and bars! The atmosphere is pretty fun, they have wine tastings with wine selections changing often. They usually have music/live singer on the weekends as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have great small appetizer plates here (nothing dinner size), everything I've tried is good. I like the option to pick three dips with French bread or pita bread. :) I really like their wine membership! I think it's a great deal. If you sign up, you pay the monthly fee and you pick up two bottles of red or white, or one bottle of each red and white. Picking up is a simple process. They also recently installed a cell phone charging station! Woo hoo! I would definitely recommend Wine Styles of you are looking for a low key relaxing evening out (maybe after dinner). The only thing I though was odd about this place was how to tip the Sommeliers/Servers. I guess their POS systems don't allow you to tip after they swipe your card. So you have to let them know how much you want to tip BEFORE the swipe. I just bring cash their now for the tip, so I don't have to deal with that. read more

Wine + desserts= WIN! I haven't been in this place in over a year so when I walked in with a friend, I was pleasantly surprised to see they now offer food! This is perfect for wine tasting/pairing. The staff is usually always friendly and helpful. It is located in a shopping center so you would never guess the selection of wine would be so decent. The bottles are slightly higher than other places but I have never tried a wine here that I didn't like. read more

Good place to have a few beers or glasses of wine. The wine selection is pretty decent although they don't carry many local wines.

Very kind staff. Good selection of beer. I actually didn't have any wine so I can't speak to their selection of wine, but it looked like they had options for everyone. When I went in September they had a few tables of outside seating, and they offered indoor seating as well. On a Saturday night it wasn't too busy and I got a table without a problem. The establishment was beautifully decorated inside and had a great atmosphere. Next time I am out with friends in the area this will be my first suggestion. read more

Really enjoyed this location! Came in on a Saturday night for a quick tasting. The wines were delicious and everyone in my party left with at least one bottle. Service was friendly too, and the whole ambiance was cozy and chill. Perfect place to catch up with girlfriends and relax before heading to dinner! read more

I was in search of a bottle of wine to bring to a friend's house last night, and looked around this shopping center to find anything with the word "wine" in it. I had no idea that I would come across anything more than racks of wine and fluorescent lights, but I was so delighted to see this beautiful store. We were greeted by a pleasant woman behind the counter. A friend of mine asked if they carried a certain kind of wine. She said that they don't, but she made several suggestions, and we eventually decided on a bottle. I'm the furthest thing from a wine connoisseur, so I can't even remember the name of the wine we bought. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to spot for wine for several reasons: - The woman was really kind and helpful, and showed no hint of snobbiness in the face of savages like us who knew nothing about wine. :) - They have free wine tastings on Saturday afternoons, so I'd be able to get my learning on. - They have lots of other little trinkets and goodies - wine accessories and also an interesting selection of organic olive oils (aka OOO - in your face, Rachel Ray). read more

I was pleasantly surprised to find a wine bar in this area, and of course we hopped right in after dinner. At first it was a little awkward because we weren't greeted by anyone, although several servers looked at us. We found ourselves comfy couch seating (which was awesome) and were served a few minutes later. They also had games you could play and that was a lot of fun (can't beat me in UNO!). I had a glass of chianti off of the wines-by-the-glass menu, which was okay. The merlot though, was extremely smooth and perfect. The wine pours were very generous as well, and my boyfriend and I had fun relaxing and filling ourselves with wine. I love the fact that we don't have to travel too far from Chantilly for a nice wine bar. Will be back! read more

Wine, live music on Fridays and Saturdays, food, desserts, and free tastings!!!! woot woot! Definitely love the laid back and casual atmosphere, this is a great neighborhood hangout with just the right amount of cool and sophisticated. The owner and even the patrons are very welcoming and you instantly feel comfortable and at ease. There is ample seating whether you want to eat it drink or just listen to the perfect pitched guy in the guitar. It's the first time jn a long time that the volume of the music is just right for listening but also holding a conversation without yelling or going hoarse. You can learn a lot about wines here too, not just Virginia wines, but the international ones too that occupy the cubbies along each wall from either the wine pourer or the owner himself. You can always test me too if you happen to be there when I am! lol and don't worry, for you none wine drinkers, there is also a nice lil section of craft brews on the back wall, everyone is a winner here! I can't comment in the food yet, but I look forward to coming for another tasting but this time with the plan in mind to order something off the menu and a bottle of vino to accompany it. Trying to the food could easily bump this place to a 5 star and make me a regular customer. read more

Wine Styles is a great little wine store. I know it is part of a local chain, but I find the staff extremely friendly and helpful - a very mom & pop-ish atmosphere. The staff is not snobbish, as has been my experience at some other wine shops. They are very tolerant of "dumb" questions. The wines might be a little more expensive than at the local GIANT or COSTCO, but they carry a more unusual selection of wines and they have the knowledge that I do not. They also have tastings and a wine club to which we belong. The wine club gives you 2 bottles per month and the occasional special event. Their recommendations are usually on the mark, although we have had one that was "not to our tastes". The shop also has a good selection of wine related stuff, such as bottle openers, bottle holders, and decorations, as well as a selection of dips and sauces. I highly recommend trying this place out. read more

Dropped by for the first time today to pick up a gift for a friend and was pleasantly surprised to learn that they actually have indoor and outdoor seating so you can enjoy their wine on the premises. A very friendly and helpful sales associate explained that they have both a retail and dining function. If you choose to have a drink or two in store you can also pair the wines with a small food menu. They also have happy hour specials. And maybe you could even have a special celebration here? Customer service was terrific, and they have an impressive array of wines. I'm glad this is in my hood. Can't wait to go back for date nights and girls night. read more

Walked into Wine Styles and was curious. It's a rather small establishment. Small selection of tastings and wine by the glass but the amount of bottles they have to select from is rather impressive. Also there is beer available. It feel like a mom and pop shop so the tastings will be of things you probably wouldn't get to try elsewhere. Good selection if you are going to buy a bottle afterwards. You can come in with a group and they will do their best to accommodate bigger groups, they also have outside seating. You can also get a bottle of wine for the table, they have a speed chiller in the back. The menu is perfect for the atmosphere. From the wine to the food to the staff it was a very pleasant experience and we will be back for sure. read more

I've been a wine club member here for a few years. A reasonably priced club with a lot of selection. I like that I can select "red" only. I've received some good quality wines and enough diversity to explore and discover new varieties and regions. For the most part, I walk in the store to pick up my wine and then get out of dodge. It's normally pretty quick as the store is never too crowded. I have, on occasion, been through there during one of their tastings with live music. Seems like a good place to start off a date and not have to drive out to wine country. They also carry a great selection of bottled craft brew. I find the prices to be a bit high and so I only buy if there's something there I've never had before. But it's nice to have another local place with some variety that doesn't require driving to Total Wine. My only real criticism is they have a rewards program (that's awesome!) but we didn't know about it until we had so much credit that it will take forever to chip away at it. The person running the store one day (not the owner) mentioned that we had a ton of credit. Each visit, we're allowed to spend up to $10 of credit. So if you have a few hundred in credit it'll take a bunch of visits to get its value. I still give this place five stars because they reward long term customers with this program, I just wish I could use all the credit in one shot because "I've earned it!". read more

Wine Styles used to be a favorite of mine. Friends would meet there for a glass or bottle of wine and when they added food to the menu, even better. I was VERY disappointed to find that they are now charging a corkage fee to drink wine at their facility. Wine you buy from them..that day..that is just poor business. I doubt I will frequent Wine Styles anymore. When you are already spending $15-$25 on a bottle of wine and most likely ordering food to sit and enjoy the evening, why would any anyone pay more money to have the bottle opened? Once realizing they were going to charge us $6 additional to drink, we ended up not staying at Wine Styles and heading over to Ruby Tuesday's for their happy hour....same shopping center and they did not charge us for anything other than our food and cocktails. read more

I can't begin to say enough good things about this store and it's owner Debbie. The wine is great and reasonably priced and if you sit down to enjoy a bottle you have to try the dip trio. The store has a great atmosphere and most Friday nights Debbie has the tasting with live music. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you live close by join the wine club. You get two bottles every month and it's fun to compare with other members. read more

This place is a go-to for picking up wine, and getting more info than normal on what you're buying. The people who work there are always pleasant and full of suggestions depending on what you're in the mood for and really know their stuff. I've also picked up quite a lot about wine just from talking with them. The store is organized by flavor profiles rather than specific types of wine (merlot section, riesling section, etc.). With each wine there is also a description of the flavors. My pallet is probably not sophisticated enough to pick up on all the flavors described, but when I've picked based on those descriptions, I've really enjoyed the results. They recently started a craft beer rack with some really good microbrews. I'm hoping they expand that selection. Prices of wines they carry range between $10 and $30 from what I've seen. I've never bought wine here that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. read more

I cannot say enough great things about WineStyles - they make you feel like family the second you walk in the door - everybody knows your name - totally the Cheers bar!!! The new owners, Mike and Sandy, have transformed the place - if you want a great night out - particularly on Friday night when there's live music - you cannot go wrong here! The crowds and the energy are a testament to how much it has changed since they took over! Phenomenal experience - superb wines and beers! This is a do not miss place!! read more
