Warm Olives

Great happy hour, went on a Saturday and they had a happy hour. $5 draft beers, not bad. Had an old fashioned and warm olives. The bartender was decent, very fast service. Will go back to try the food. Bourbon menu is good, wine list is large. Upscale feel with a mellow vibe.

Lobster ravioli

Such a lovely experience! We came here for a friends birthday and the wait staff was phenomenal. The ambience is low light but there are mini touch lamps on the tables to aid in menu reading. I had the lobster ravioli which was essentially four hearty ravioli stuffed with lobster and a lobster tail served in a cream sauce with truffles. Perfection. Highly recommend if you're in the Chantilly area to stop in for dinner.

I have been wanting to go here for a while. Looking on the website at the May specials and food options they have. Not to mention the whiskey and bourbon selections are HUGE. One of the largest I have seen so far. The happy hour options are amazing. The taste of the food is even better. The drinks by San are top tier. As well as the service by San. He knows his whiskey and bourbon. Very very knowledgeable and professional. Let's get into the decor. The steaks on display. With all cuts. OMG. The wine cellar. To die for. And last but not least the whisker and bourbon. Stop what you are doing and come and visit this amazing place. Thank me later!!!!

Old fashioned Whiskey

The ambiance is inviting, the menu is large, and there are so many drinks to choose from. The Old Fashioned was strong and tasted pretty good, which our waitress prepared table side. We weren't sure about what wines to try so our waitress gave really good wine recommendations too. The caesar salad tasted great, but unfortunately, the steak was overcooked and lacked seasoning. The sides were also lacking flavor. It would be nice if they offered a salt shaker at the table because it would be helpful, just in case. The biggest plus is the staff. They were friendly from the moment we entered the restaurant. We were there for our anniversary and they greeted us at the entrance, gave us a hand-written card and even gave us a wine bottle opener at the end of our meal. This is definitely a place you go to if you would like great service and a show, but they need to work on the flavor of the food - once they improve that, I think it would be a more well rounded experience.

Wagyu Sliders

My boyfriend took me to Bourbon Boulevard for our anniversary. The space was clean, pretty, and larger than expected. I had a virgin mai tai that was actually really good (a little sweet & tangy). The crab cakes and wagyu burger were both delicious and impressive. I would say the crab cakes were my favorite of the night! However, the entrees were a bit disappointing. The lobster ravioli had this thick pasta with little filling, and the lobster mac tasted like basic mac and cheese with lobster on top. I expected the lobster to be more incorporated in both dishes. The sirloin my boyfriend ordered was great, but would I say this was worth over 300 dollars? Probably not, but the service was great and we had fun.

We had the most amazing experience here on Valentine's Day. Our server, Fernando, was incredible. I cannot wait to come back. We both got filet mignon and a few side. Everything was wonderfully presented and exquisite. There was live music but not overwhelming for the space. We are so excited to join them next time we are in town.

Me and hubby decided to drive over an hour here for our valentines dinner. Starting with the food, the mushrooms were enjoyable, but the truffle fries were unfortunately soggy and definitely not a highlight. Collard greens were simply mediocre. My husband ordered the dry-aged rib and said it was good, while I had the wagyu ribeye, which arrived at room temperature. In fact, most of our food didn't come out particularly hot, though I can overlook that a bit for the charcuterie appetizer, lol. Service was another downside. We tried to give our server the benefit of the doubt , everyone has off days , but the interaction felt minimal and disengaged. There was no introduction or greeting when she first came to the table; she simply stood there waiting for us to order. The only time we received a full sentence was when the bill was delivered. That said, the atmosphere was lovely. The live jazz band added a nice touch and made the environment enjoyable. Overall, it was a 2/5 experience, not somewhere I'd plan to return to or personally recommend.

So, we came here for a late lunch on a Saturday. It was a fairly slow and quiet, which was a win. Upon entry, we were quickly greeted and quickly seated (with our preference for location). After our waitress made her introduction, our orders were quickly taken, which we greatly appreciated. I had the ribeye (medium), with the maple sriracha brussel sprouts and the loaded baked potato. Unfortunately, my ribeye came out medium well (in my opinion), causing it to not be as juicy/succulent/flavorful, which was a tad disappointing. For the brussel sprouts, with the pairing of maple and sriracha, I was expecting a more impactful taste, however, this dish was just okay. Overall, we had a good experience, but the food was just average to me. On another note, the live music was getting ready to play around 5pm and this appears to happen daily , which I am sure adds to the experience.

Tiramisu, with a candle for my wife's birthday. It was light and delicious.

I'm struggling with this review because the food and service were good, but the overall experience was less than satisfying. We probably won't go back. My wife and I went to an early dinner (for her birthday), and the restaurant was almost empty. We ordered whiskey flights and salads to start. She ordered the Fig, Prosciutto and Goat Cheese Salad, which was beautifully presented and tasty. I ordered the Iceberg Wedge, which was similarly very good. But before we could even finish our salads, our entrees were being served. We had no time to thoroughly enjoy our salads, let alone begin tasting our whiskey flights. On to the entrees. My wife ordered the Seared Salmon which was served with crispy skin. The problem was, the crispy skin was served on the bottom, so it quickly became soggy. And the plate was overwhelmed by a huge portion of broccolini. We like broccolini, but wow. That was a lot. The salmon was tasty, but nothing special. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli. It was beautifully presented with half of a small lobster tail on top, but the lobster was a little overcooked and was impossible to remove from the shell. I asked the waiter to take the plate back to the kitchen and ask the chef to help remove the lobster from the shell, which he gladly did. When the plate was returned, there were a few small pieces of lobster on top, but enough to make the plate satisfying. The lobster ravioli, and especially the sauce, was delicious. The problem was, my wife's plate was getting cold while she waited for my plate to be returned to the table. Oh well. The waiter recommended the Tiramisu for dessert, and he offered it on the house because it was my wife's birthday. And it was delicious. The last thing I would mention is the 5% Kitchen Service Charge that was automatically added to the bill. In fairness, it is mentioned on the menu (though I didn't notice it). But I was a little taken aback by its addition, given the problem with my Lobster Ravioli. The kitchen's performance wasn't perfect. I'm really put off by these kinds of fees anyway. Overall, the food was good and the waiter was friendly and attentive. But too many little things added up, and we probably won't go back, especially given how pricey the meal was.

Banana Rum Bread Pudding with Ice Cream

Consistency is key! Ventured here after an afternoon of wine tasting. Sat at the bar and was able to enjoy the Ravens win over the Cowboys. Whooo-hooooo...a perfect Sunday Funday. Today I ordered a Caesar Salad and added grilled shrimp. My salad was fresh and my shrimp were delicious! My husband enjoyed the steak skewers with a side of truffle fries along with some of my salad. For dessert we had the Rum Bread Pudding and I also had a hot tea. The bar tender tonight was awesome and entertaining. There was even some live entertainment this evening and the singer with the band was actually pretty good. If we're ever in the area we will definitely be back! :)) Happy Yelping!

BBB Dry-Aged RIBEYE

For an "upscale" restaurant, I expected more from the staff to keep the restaurant clean and tidy. It was very unappetizing to be sat next to a dirty partition where dust and dirt was collected and never cleaned (see picture). I could only imagine the dust flying into my food as I ate. The bathroom was very messy with water all over the sink counter and soap that was diluted with water. Yes, they say it's a casual type of restaurant but the price point does not reflect such as this place is more expensive than the more fine dining restaurants in the surrounding city. Now the food. We waited for over 30 minutes with no complimentary bread for the table. I think it's ridiculous for a restaurant to be this pricey with no complimentary sides or services. And the sautéed wild mushrooms for $13? Just a handful of baby bella mushrooms. I ordered the Tournedos Rossini and it was good, just okay. Nothing special about it. The other people in my party ordered Filet Mignons and Prime Dry Aged Ribeye and they say it was good quality meat. Overall, this place has zero class. Just not for me. You're better off driving a little further to Tysons to the more respectable fine dining steakhouses with better ingredients and transparent menus.

Giant prawns@ Bourbon Boulevard!

Being a Bourbon lover, I noticed a Yelp friend's review and said to myself, Self, If I'm ever in the Chantilly area, I have to check this place out. Just by chance, yesterday I was in Chantilly and true to my word, I checked this place out! As soon as we walked in, I noticed a cigar humidor to my right and I was like..wow, they must allow stogies on the patio. Yep, they do and that made it easy to decide to dine outside. Inside BB had a cool set-up with a large bar/lounge area to the left, and a large formal dining area to the right, with a Grand piano and other band instruments set up in the middle. Dimly lit, reminding you of similar fine dining steak houses. The menu is amazing. It literally had everything that I love, unfortunately, I wasn't particularly hungry and I wanted to kick myself for eating a supersized lunch. I'm secure with my manhood, so ordering a Pear Martini isn't that unusual for me, but at a Bourbon themed steakhouse, it was. Hey, I was going to make drink #2 bourbon based..LOL! The Bourbon Gods were not having it and the Martini was horrible. Please take this back and give me that da*n Smoked Old Fashioned that I should have gotten in the first place..SMH!! Our server was really nice but super young and maybe not as experienced as she should be working at an establishment on the scale of Ruth's Chris and Capital Grill. She surprisingly said she would have to ask the manager if they could take that nasty Pear Martini off my bill. I only took half a sip.. are you kidding me? Not until the bill came after dinner, did she finally confirm that the manager voided out the martini. On to the food. Again, we weren't starving, so a few small plates would suffice. We ordered the giant prawns, oysters Rockefeller, filet mignon and a Caesar salad. The prawns were only giant because they had the heads on. Once you removed the heads they were as small as a salad add on. They were overcooked and mushy. The filet was less than luke warm but I liked it, she didn't, saying it was too chewy. The oysters were amazing and the Caesar salad was fresh and tasty. Our server completely forgot the requested ground pepper until the meal was done. This restaurant has all the potential in the world, but at this price point, It's missing the mark. The $20 cigar I purchased was crunchy, so was it bad ventilation in the humidor or was the cigar just old?!? The men's bathroom had one inoperable sink with a soup dispenser hanging on for dear life. The other one was working fine. Also, note that they add a $5.50 service fee automatically to your bill. I still tipped 20% just because I'm a nice guy..lol! Bourbon Blvd., please pay attention to detail so that your 2.5 star Yelp rating won't have the merit it does now..jus saying!

We started with the bang bang shrimp--perfectly crispy with a delicious sweet heat that wasn't overpowering. Easily one of the best appetizers we've had. For my entrée, I had the twin lobster tails they were tender, buttery, and flawless. The seasonal vegetables were fresh and perfectly seasoned. My husband ordered the Connecticut lobster roll, which was loaded with generous chunks of lobster, lightly dressed, and served on a perfectly toasted roll with crispy fries. Simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious.

It's in a newish shopping center, which, for us, had a bonus-- there is a Harris Teeter there. We needed to pick up some items, so we did before having dinner. We were here for an early dinner. Now that it's getting darker so early, we try to avoid driving after dark, when possible. Thus, we were here around 3 p.m. and were glad to see they were serving dinner at that time. To drink, I chose a mocktail called "What a lychee" which consists of "lychee, pineapple juice, club soda". It was garnished with a lychee. I did enjoy this drink. My husband had a non-alcoholic Stella Artois. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated immediately. Having looked at the menu before arriving, we each knew what we wanted. I chose to try the "Blackened Pan Seared Yellow Fin Tuna" which (supposedly) consists of: "Topped with jumbo lump crab meat, sundried tomatoes, shiitake mushrooms, creamy lemon sauce served with rice." My husband chose the "Shrimp platter," which (supposedly) consists of: "crispy beer battered shrimp, coleslaw and chipotle sauce served with hand cut French fries." It took a while for our food to come out. As I was eating, it dawned on me that there was no crab meat or sundried tomatoes. Also, the sauce sure was a creamy lemon sauce. It was more like a miso-flavored sauce. Hard to say if the menu got changed, but no new menus were printed up to fix it. Or was it that the young man who cooked the food wasn't familiar with the entrees? Still, despite the discrepancies, I did like this dish, although it would have been even better if they had prepared it correctly. My husband noticed that there was no Chipotle sauce on his dish. Instead, there were two small containers: one with ketchup and another with tartar sauce. He, too, thought that his shrimp was well prepared, although the breading didn't cling to the shrimp. This experience left us with mixed feelings. On the one hand, we appreciated the friendly, attentive service. Yet, on the other hand, we wonder whether it's worth going again, given the possibility of not getting all the ingredients for one's entree. We liked the ambiance, which evoked images of the beach. They have some nice paintings on one wall depicting the seashore, a lighthouse, and beach houses.
