I'm in town from out of state for a work event and one of my coworkers wanted to check this place out. It's inside a very fancy Marriott and has a pretty nice menu. We were able to easily jump into a booth and were immediately greeted by a server. I was excited to see a variety of mocktails on the menu and ordered an orange mule inspired one while my coworker got a vodka cucumber drink. I wasn't very impressed by my drink but my coworker loved his. We also got an order of sweet potato fries that were fantastic. We got to the bar around 8PM and even though it wasn't very full, it was very loud and lively just from people talking. There was a large bar with a ton of TVs so im sure this is the perfect spot to catch a game while staying at the hotel or nearby. read more

Ate here while staying at the hotel. One night I had the turkey sandwich and the truffle fires and another night I had the flatbread pepperoni pizza. I like the turkey sandwich and fries more. I also had their corn and crab chowder. The chowder did not come out hot. It came out in a big bowl though. See photo. The second night I ate at the restaurant there were tons of people and that affected service response times and the food coming out. So if you see a ton of people at the restaurant keep that in mind. My star rating would be higher if not for the service wait and the not so hot soup. read more

2.5 rounded up. Here for a conference and was not impressed. The location is convenient and easy for hotel guests but like most hotel bars, the service and food fell short. Our group had experience on Wednesday night and of all the food, not a single one was rated higher than 4 out of 5 (or 8 out of 10 as fractions go lol). Best reviewed dishes were the flatbreads and the Tikki Masala. I tried the salmon which was just ok - bland and I needed to put hot sauce all over it. Most disappointing was I wanted to continue to order drinks and dessert (after the larger group was done) but our server never even checked on us. Headed back to the room around 8 which was probably a better choice but still discouraging. read more

Man oh man those mini smashed cheeseburgers with grilled onions on grilled Hawaiian buns are really good! They put White Castle to shame. Warm atmosphere with friendly, attentive bartenders. Local draft beers. Patrons having a good time. read more

I arrived here at this hotel late at night just before 11 pm to stay overnight prior to my drive home the next morning. This was the only hotel restaurant and bar open in the hotel's lobby, but it was too late to serve food. The kitchen was closed for the evening. So I enjoyed two Yuenglings on draft. In the morning we enjoyed a complimentary buffet or breakfast to order at the same Wellington restaurant. The buffet was ok. I ordered two sunny side up eggs with coffee and orange juice. See my pic because one of my egg yolks was broken. I was disappointed with my broken egg yolk. Sunny side eggs should not be served with broken egg yolks. I added some bacon, sausage and potatoes from the buffet. I also enjoyed some fresh fruit including a banana. My complimentary breakfast was adequate considering it was complimentary. read more

I had dinner and breakfast at Wellington in the Westfields Marriot, and overall the experience was decent. The servers are really friendly and try their best to make sure guests are taken care of. However, I couldn't help but feel bad during dinner when the restaurant gets busy, the bartender is also the one waiting tables. It's a lot for one person to juggle...and you can definitely feel the strain when it's crowded. It would really help if they had a separate server for the dining area to ease the load. Breakfast is buffet style with a okay selection, but it's on the pricey side at $25 per person. For a hotel buffet, I expected a bit more variety or at least something that stood out. It's not a bad option if you're staying at the hotel and want convenience, but not sure I'd go out of my way for it. read more

Wellies is the go-to hang out spot in Chantilly. On site at the Westfield's Marriott. So it's a quick stroll from room or conference or work site to be at the pub. Good breakfast. Good lunch and dinner spot too. Always friendly and welcoming staff and rather quick service. read more

It's been a year since my husband and I sat and dined here, however the "award winning service" is no where to be found in the evening when it comes to dinner . The bartender had to cover both the restaurant and the lounge 8/3/2024... we had to wait to be served , with another couple being seen before we were which at least they had waters ... The bartender took our complete order and still had to wait for something to drink which now was about 20min. As we finally were served soups and drinks noticed now that the server came on her shift but seriously no help for the bartender... I surely hope she wasn't on break knowing that the dinner crowd was in full swing... The soups were bland and lacked flavor - our flat bread pizza came out cold due to the waiter being the only one on .. I don't know who's managing the hotel but it's a shame of what it once was- I totally blame management as it's poor and it's not just in the dining ... Beautiful hotel throughout however it's definitely being managed poorly- this review doesn't deserve any stars.. read more

Ok. So I saw the mixed reviews but I got to tell u straight. We drove in from CT. Staying here for the night. Tired and hungry and rolled in at 9:30 on a Thursday. Tall order for decent food at this hour. I ordered the loaded chips to start then hubby ordered turkey club with salad. I ordered crispy chicken. Food was great! Service also great! Win win.. only change I'd make is to skip all the cheese and bacon on the chips.. while it really was great it was a bit too much. Seriously tho.. no complaints!! read more

Bottom Line: Located in the Marriott Westfields but one of the few places in the area to be waited on for a sit down meal. Wellington's is located inside the Westfields Marriott. I was here during a weekday when there wasn't a conference or convention going on so the parking lot and restaurant were mostly empty. What I like about Wellington's is that it was quiet and had nice décor. Also, there was a good variety of options for lunch like salads, sandwiches, soups and heavier entrees. The food was average and service was slow, which is what I expect from a hotel restauraunt. I am sure dining here during a conference or convention is probably a very different experience. Wellington's is the only sit down restaurant near by and I am sure it gets swamped during those events. I think Wellington's is supposed to have a British theme but to me it felt more Jeffersonian, except for a few beers on tap and fish and chips on the menu. The surrounding lobby is very nice and could be a nice spot to enjoy a Starbucks coffee that is served at Wellington's. read more

Overall dining experience was good. Nice atmosphere and good service from the bartender. Tried the butternut squash ravioli. It was okay but it was supposed to be in a browned butter sauce and instead seemed to just be in a butter sauce. The ravioli were on the doughy side. Worst biscuit & gravy I've ever had, hands down. The biscuit was dense, small, and tasteless. The sausage gravy was, well, not sure what it was. Not hot, not even warm, a little yellow-white, no sausage at all. Cold bland sauce over a cold chewy hockey puck. It came with what they called cottage potatoes - a sort of scalloped potatoes, weird for breakfast but ok. Grilled tomato was good, as was the fruit cup. Service - friendly but poor. Cream on table was cuddled, we asked for a replacement and she took it away. No replacement. Waited, requested again. No luck. Finally snagged one from another table. Corn chowder with clams and crab is what i like the most when it comes to soup and I don't know many people who can make it, to pile it more hotel is definitely not one of the places I look for a good one. But the people at Wellington (Marriott Chantilly, VA) proved me wrong, their crab chowder is very nice. They make it fresh everyday, potatoes are either very small in size or mashed (so its not a potato chowder) just the way I like it, and very creamy. If you have a bowl, donot go for entree, soup is very filling. If you still a lil hungry have Caesar salad which is also very nice and just enough to put you asleep. read more

This restaurant is great!!! The waiters and bartender are all soo very nice. I am staying at the hotel on a business trip and I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Staff is friendly, but they are very slow and forgetful. The beer on tap tasted like piss. No carbonation. Maybe it was just the end of the keg, but definitely need to clean the spouts. Food ok. Expected more from such a nice looking place read more

Unfortunately I have to take away a star from my previous review. unfortunately the high dollar makeover and the current staff bring this place down. The food is good but there's nothing that I have had I can say is great. you have to watch your bill because you will be "Ala carted" to death. Service is always uninspired. Prices are high and portions seem to get smaller. This is not the place that used to be with the nice English pool tables. every time I am in there now children seem to run in and out or be part of large parties. This is a fabulous button up weekly business hotel that turns into a wedding and occasion hotel on the weekends. read more

First, if there's a conference at the center staffing should be adequate for the number of people at the conference. Second, over 50 minute wait for a ham and cheese sandwich with chips. Wow, the price was more than I expected, but the food was good. The crab and corn chowder was fantastic. It was creamy and had a bit of a kick to make it special. My filet was so soft, the butter knife was sufficient to cut it. The staff was great. Not very many off them, but it wasn't crowded, so not a problem. Next time I'm in staying in the Westfield Marriott, I'll come back to eat. read more

Pretty good bar food in a very nice hotel (Marriott in Westfields). Nothing unusual on the menu, the crab dip is supposed to be really good (I can't eat crab), the wings were also good. A little pricey, but what do you expect in a really nice hotel. For hotel food it's good, a couple of pool tables and pretty good service. read more

I just held a secret 20th wedding anniversary party at Wellingtons for about 20 family and friends. Angela the manager was excellent in every phase of the event: selecting menu options, pricing, decorating the private dining area, was on sight he night of the event, and followed up the day after the event. 5 STARS all the way!!! read more

Having worked for Marriott for 9 years, and even a stint at this property, I recommended Westfields Marriott for our friends who were staying here from Charlottesville. Because it was raining out, we decided to just eat at Wellington's since there are not many other choices nearby due to it's location. The service was absolutely terrible. 3 servers huddled around the POS/cash register with their backs turned- I had to flag them down 4 separate times; to take our orders, get another round of drinks, ask for the check. For an upscale hotel, and one we personally had recommended, this was truly embarrassing. I can certainly understand when things get busy, but this was purely a result of them being completely inattentive and absorbed in their own personal chit chat. Step it up, Food and Beverage Director. We will go to the Salamander next time. read more
