My two sunny side up eggs with one broken yoke
    Tony J.

I arrived here at this hotel late at night just before 11 pm to stay overnight prior to my drive home the next morning. This was the only hotel restaurant and bar open in the hotel's lobby, but it was too late to serve food. The kitchen was closed for the evening. So I enjoyed two Yuenglings on draft. In the morning we enjoyed a complimentary buffet or breakfast to order at the same Wellington restaurant. The buffet was ok. I ordered two sunny side up eggs with coffee and orange juice. See my pic because one of my egg yolks was broken. I was disappointed with my broken egg yolk. Sunny side eggs should not be served with broken egg yolks. I added some bacon, sausage and potatoes from the buffet. I also enjoyed some fresh fruit including a banana. My complimentary breakfast was adequate considering it was complimentary.

Overall dining experience was good. Nice atmosphere and good service from the bartender. Tried the butternut squash ravioli. It was okay but it was supposed to be in a browned butter sauce and instead seemed to just be in a butter sauce. The ravioli were on the doughy side. I did like the pieces of butter squash, pecans, and brussel sprouts that were in the dish. The portion was generous.

    Corn and crab chowder
    Rupal C.

Corn chowder with clams and crab is what i like the most when it comes to soup and I don't know many people who can make it, to pile it more hotel is definitely not one of the places I look for a good one. But the people at Wellington (Marriott Chantilly, VA) proved me wrong, their crab chowder is very nice. They make it fresh everyday, potatoes are either very small in size or mashed (so its not a potato chowder) just the way I like it, and very creamy. If you have a bowl, donot go for entree, soup is very filling. If you still a lil hungry have Caesar salad which is also very nice and just enough to put you asleep.

My interpretation of the gist of what everyone was complaining about was that they used to come here all the time (as did I years ago, but it's been a year since being here) and they didn't like the new, slimmed down menu... and they definitely hated the prices here now. Our service was ok, nothing special. I feel like the majority of the servers are very young and might not have the training, nor experience to understand what true service is, not just taking orders and bringing food. The menu was nice. We liked their "Everyday is Sunday" section of the menu, so we tried 2 orders (4 persons) of the pork chop tomahawk and 1 order (2 persons) of the Côte de Boeuf. We started with their Scotch Egg - WOW! Really flavorful with a great texture, inside and out. Definitely a very nice way to start. Cocktails and wine were a hit here for sure! Especially Jarad's G&T, which we got a couple of. Main dishes were great! Plenty of food too!! The spices on the crust of the porkchop tomahawk were so tasty and the temperature was spot-on! The steak in the Côte de Boeuf was incredible! Perfectly seasoned and at that absolute perfect temperature too! The carrots that came with this were very nicely done, but the potatoes stole the show! This dish came with OUTSTANDING Fondant potatoes... They had a great, smokey flavor to them, as if they were basted in pork fat. The meat was perfectly textured and flavored. Overall - While this is no longer the Hunter's Head that many came to know, love, and enjoy, I feel they're doing a decent job here. I'll definitely return, as I want to try their fish & chips!

Wow, what a quaint British pub in the middle of Vienna. Parking is a little tight for this area,…read morebut you can definitely find some spots in the back on a weekday. I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Because we came on a Thursday they had a deal going where if you ordered a pie, you could get a beer for free. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. They are a warm beer rotating and it was quite good, it especially paired well with the pie or fish and chips.

My husband is a die-had Arsenal fan and was overjoyed by the chaotic bar scene he encountered as soon as he entered. The City + Arsenal game had the entire bar packed with fans from both sides pulling up random seats wherever there was a free space. We came a bit late into the game but found a seat in a quieter area of the restaurant that still had good television access. With the dreary rain outside, it felt like we had settled right in a proper British pub! Food wise: - For my husband: Wings were generous, grilled, and delicious with interesting flavors - For me: Fish and chips were light, flakey, and came with some of the best house cut fries I've ever had. - For the kiddos: Although they had a kids menu, my daughters decided to split some pancakes (basically crepes with raspberries and cream sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Portions are more than generous and the managers were bustling around, talking shop, and thanking everyone who walked through their door. We will definitely be back!

Since we sat outside we had to go inside to place our order and then a server or someone that worked there would deliver our food. If it was a drink then they would make the drink on the spot. I think it was a bit confusing because when you sit down at a table outside you'd assume maybe someone would notice but that isn't the case. I think that's just something people should ahead on time. It may be the same case inside where you have tables to sit down at but no server to take your order, ect. Otherwise I didn't get much here other than fries and Guinness on Draft so I can at least review something food related.. Fries, crispy, there is a crunch in every bite, topped with parmesan cheese and parsley, it is pretty good for something to snack on. The Guinness on Draft is surprisingly extremely smooth and was very enjoyable; I would get it again! My friends got the poutine and I'd say after sampling it, it's great. Fries with cheese curds topped with gravy. Savory, Delicious, and filling. I'll most likely pay a 2nd visit! That Guinness is calling me!
