Jeff and his workers were extremely professional and helpful. It is very hard to find a concrete contractor who goes out of their way to ensure the job is done right and in a timely manner. I got multiple quotes from multiple companies, and Birkemeier Construction was competitive, but not the cheapest. With this though, they pointed out a few things Jeff would do to try and prevent cracking, and ensure no corners were cut. When I compared his quote to that of other companies, I realized the other companies were attempting to cut corners by using a thinner concrete pour, or not running the patio I had installed further under an addition on my house to save themselves money and time. Jeff pointed out, doing so would allow them to anchor the patio to my house, creating more strength and lessening the likelihood of cracks forming years down the road. I learned although the bid was $50 mor for a $7,000 job, I was really getting about 25% more work and materials, not to count the expertise and honesty that is hard to find in the construction world. Lastly, Jeff and his crew always showed up on time, consistently, worked hard, and cleaned the construction and affected areas better then they even found it upon their arrival.
