I called them since my gutter was wildly overflowing in one section. I actually called a few different places before calling WCC, but they were the only ones to actually answer the phone and offer to come out that week. The receptionist was a good first impression of the company. The guy who came out was amazing. I was so impressed by him. He called 2 days in advance and said that he might be able to come out even earlier than the appointment. Score! The day I was scheduled for was rainy. I almost thought they might cancel due to the weather conditions, but nope! My guy called and came out earlier than scheduled (which worked well for me). It was rainy, but without any doubt he pulled out his ladder and got to work. He diagnosed, corrected and filled me in on the problem in less than 10 minutes. He was also just so up-right and friendly!! It was like he were a worker from an idealized 1950s. And even though it was raining and he had other appointments to get to, he offered to give me an estimate on installing gutter guards. He measured every gutter around my house and garage and then got my email so he could send me the formal estimate. It came later that day. Such impressive service! WCC Roofing put a high-quality steel roof on our home in Clayton in 2019. The 2025 tornado, unfortunately, damaged the roof, which could not be repaired because the manufacturer no longer makes the product. Jason and his team were on the scene immediately after the tornado hit the house and did a prompt and thorough assessment of the damage and put up tarping to keep rain from damaging the interior of the home. They've worked with us as we have labored to help the insurer understand that the WCC bid is comparable to the product that could not be repaired. Horrible company. A roof was installed and the day after installation, a water spot showed up on the kitchen ceiling. The next day we had a water spot on the bedroom ceiling. Called Jason Wacker to come back to look at the roof since there were nails exposed and water spots. We had an insurance claim for storm damage and Jason asked if the insurance paid for the ceilings to be painted. That was his solution for the water spots. Jason did arrange for someone to come and fix shingles. His crew came with a caulk gun while we were out of town. We watched through our ring as a worker went up the ladder with the gun. My husband inspected the roof and saw caulk all over. Called Jason and he sent his foreman out, after calling his crew stupid Mexicans. Foreman said Jason would replace the roof. We asked for our deposit back and then agreed to have the roof replaced. Jason ghosted us. We called 6 times and sent a text. Jason kept our deposit of over $4,000. I admire that he served and try to use veteran owned companies but this advertisement shouldn't be used if your just going to come back from service to rip off your fellow citizens. I needed to edit my review based on Jason's response. He's a crook and a liar. We do not have a history of not paying contractors. We're quite the opposite. We started noticing a leak in our foyer and they immediately came out to temporarily repair it while we started a claim with my insurance company to replace the whole roof and gutters due to storm damage. Shawn did a great job of keeping me informed on any item I asked for information on and repeatedly demonstrating that he and WCC wanted my business. I contacted several companies who quoted me at least double what WCC charged me for the simple fix. Not only were they the most reasonably priced, but James contacted me the same day I asked for a quote, and by the next evening, the repair was finished. We had a leaky roof that created drywall damage in one of our ceilings. Jessie is the rep we worked with. He knows his business!!! His crew installed the new roof in one day. Great crew! About a few weeks later we received the certificate of warranty. Everything was great until there was a rain storm just this last weekend. In the meantime I figured all was well with the roof and hired a painter to come do the ceiling repair work. He had started the ceiling repair by first cutting out the damaged drywall leaving a hole that was about 3'x2'. He left after he cut the hole and said he would be back the next day. It rained hard that night. I heard dripping noises coming from that room. When I went in to check what was up I saw water dripping from the hole in the drywall exactly where the original leak was. I called the WCC office on Sunday morning and left a message. Jessie called me back and said he was sending the crew back on Monday morning early. The foreman of the job arrived as planned and came in to check the leak area. It was discovered that the leak was from the dormer. The new roof they installed was great but the problem was with that dormer. The crew fixed the problem for no extra charge! These guys said they would fix the roof and they did! We were dealing with two separate issues with this roof. 1. The roof was old and needed replacing. 2. The actual leak (as we later found out) was from the dormer. No one suspected that the dormer was in ill repair because it looked perfect upon the initial inspection. When these guy say they stand behind their work believe them! However, after the recent hail we had two roofing companies roaming the neighborhood who both told us we had hail damage and should file an insurance claim. Well, I'd rather choose a roofing company than have them choose me. Based on Yelp and personal recommendations I called WCC, who sent their rep to check out my roof. After asking some great questions he was very honest with me and said we probably had a 10-15% chance of our particular insurance company covering the damage. Like you I value honesty. A local company who stands behind their product with great service representatives. I had them inspect my roof when I bought my house for my FHA loan. They stood behind that inspection and came to my aid when I experienced a couple small leaks. Their quick response in those cases made them the company I called when I decided to do a flat roof replacement to a white TPO roof. The representative worked with me to secure my financing and schedule the replacement (expected to take two days). They finished the job in one day thanks to good weather and the representative being on site to supply the roofers with anything they would need to keep working. I am very happy with the performance of my roof in extreme weather and on my utility bill for thermal. I recently had my dish provider realign my satellite and he remarked how well the dish had been secured.
