I had another roof put on by Brandon J and it went as expected. Also, I had the house completely re-sided and the fascia and gutters done as well. I worked with David Burnette on the siding and he also stepped in on the gutters and siding. I was really impressed with David's follow up and his ability to work with the insurance company to make sure that everything was covered as it should have been. David also had a Project Manager backing him on the job, Clayton Vickery, who did a great job as well. He and David worked flawlessly as a team and made absolutely sure that everything was done not only to my satisfaction, but to their's as well! They found some things that I had missed, and I'm pretty darned particular! I would work with David and Clayton again in a heartbeat! These guys are beyond good, they're fantastic! They will continue to send unsubstantiated bills weeks after work is completed, completely uncorrelated to contracted prices, and without the ability to give any explanation for any of the increases (more than 2X the original job cost in aggregate) other than that they either made mistakes or want more money. And this goes beyond submitting direct claims to insurance companies without any owner or policyholder knowledge or consent. How the company is still in business and hasnt been shut down through civil lawsuits and insurance fraud is mind-boggling. Brando J Roofing may have put on a good roof, their workers were unorganized, all non english speaking mexicans, whose families showed up to make sure they got done in one day. Th covered our plants in front of the house and proceeded to walk allover them and edging for our garden. The destroyed our plants. Plants we put in earlier in the year. Derek, came by the next day to check on the job and used hi roller magnet to pick up extra nails. He said the area around the house was clear. I mentioned the plants and a section of the gyttering that had been bent down. It looked liked someone stepped on it or dropped something heavy. When it rained the water over flowed at that point. He took pictures and said the accounting department would contact me about a discout for the plants. I kept calling and leaving messages for Derek with no response. In the meantime, my brother lent my wife a heavy magnet on a handle. She went around the edge of the house and picked up over 150 nails, found a full roll of nails in a bush and shingle scraps. I got a call from accounting to get payment and i explained that Derek told me they would be calling with a discounted price. I as told Derek no longer worked theer and they would call me back. Two weeks later they called back for payment and I explained again, but she found the notes and would sned someone out to look at the gutter and plants. They finally gave us a discounted invoice and requested payment today. They were going to send someone by. I told them not until after the gutter was fixed. It took two weeks but the gutter was fixed. Never will i used them again for anything. read more

Now I'm questioning my son's ability to judge people! We'll be out in 6 or 7 weeks was the promise, 7 months later they show up with a 90% chance of rain. Everybody wants their roof installed when it's raining, right. I sent them packing and told them to check the weather before they showed up again. They came on a Saturday which was fine, all 11 of them and they had the roof off and on in 5 hours! Amazing! These sub-contractors were the only semi-bright spot in dealing with this company although they did a bit of damage to the driveway, bent the hell out of the gutters and gutter guards and we ended up with 2 flat tires and I'm still picking up the occasional nail. This was in 10/25, last month I get not one or two emails but 3 emails with 3 different amounts that I supposedly owe. Came you say morons, idiots, dummies whatever adjectives you'd like to attach feel free to use. I could go on but at this point I'm sure you can tell happy is not a word to describe how I feel. I would not hire these people to pick up twigs in my yard much less do any major repairs to my home in the future. My experience was marked by repeated discrepancies, disorganization, and ongoing miscommunication. It took close to a year to fully finalize this process. Over that time, I had to personally review invoices, flag inconsistencies, and send numerous emails just to get the numbers aligned - essentially doing work that should have been handled internally. I took time off work multiple times to accommodate scheduled visits, only to have instances where the project was set and no one showed up. Poor scheduling and lack of organization caused this to drag on for months. There was also minor property damage during the process, which added to the frustration. As a busy professional, the amount of time required from me showed a clear lack of respect for my time. Most disappointing was the complete absence of any meaningful effort to acknowledge or compensate for the significant time lost. This was the poorest customer service I have ever received. Brandon J Roofing charged 13,000.00 dollars to put on a high quality roof, high tier ridge cap, drip edge, downspouts and repair a window. They put on a low quality ridge cap,, no drip edge on the back, no downspout, no window repair and poor quality flashing. Water pooling around the chimney. Then, Brandon J Roofing charged an additional 4600. for the downspout, window repair and labor. These items were paid for in the original claim but never done. Now, Brandon J Roofing is suing my family for the fraudulent claim of work that was never done. The easiest way to say this is, run like the wind, if any sales rep ever approaches you to use Brandon J Roofing. I have been dealing with them since last October, trying to get them to repair shoddy work on gutter guards on what was my mother's home, after replacing the roof -- and that's another story in itself. I've lost track of how many people I have communicated and dealt with at this company. The short version is after replacing the roof, they sent a crew to replace really nice looking gutter guards that we already had with ill-fitting, oversized guards that were installed improperly and supposedly corrected three times. The end result was an incomplete job and gutter guards that are too big for my gutters, and are now pushing up the shingles of my roof, causing debris to fall behind the guards into my gutters. Again, since October, I have been trying to get this corrected and each time I have been "promised" the issues would be fixed. Every person I have spoken to at this company has said that they have poor communication and coordination within their departments, and they end their sentences by saying that they have work orders placed but they are getting clogged in their systems and they do not have the authority to give financial approval to correct my situation. Keep in mind that each person -- project managers, warranty department managers, office staff -- have told me that the work that was performed was not done correctly but they have to get approval from someone else to fix it. I've lost track at the number of broken promises and no-shows of both project managers and crews.The best excuse I was given was that they had other clients they had to deal with. I continually reminded them I was a client and before taking on new ones, they should complete the work promised for an existing one. I have yet to be able to find the this mysterious person who has the authority to do anything to remedy this situation. At the same time, I have text messages saying so-and-so will be calling me and that a crew would be coming this week, then it would become next week, and then it would become we need further approval. But back to the roof. Upon inspection boards that were to be replaced, were not and portions of the roof had to be removed and redone. I am in the process of selling this home and their ongoing delays and incomplete follow-through is costing me more money each month. Crazily, this company was supposed to replace the roof and upgrade our gutters on our home. The inspection was done, insurance money has been paid to us, but our rep refused to return calls to get any work started. Just to emphasis, our roof repair was approved, we have the insurance money but NO ONE at this company has returned a call to follow up for the job on our home. Just crickets. For us, this is what is called, dodging a bullet. My goal here is to get the gutter guard issues at my mother's home resolved and, it should go without saying, find another roofer to do the work on our home. I would never, ever trust this company to do any work of any kind and regret whole heartedly not having read previous reviews. These are lessons learned. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Moving forward, I will continue to call them to get them to fix what they did not do correctly. I also will be filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I hired Brandon J Roofing for a full roof, gutter, and fascia replacement at my home in Chesterfield, MO. The project was scheduled for March 2024 but turned into months of delays, poor workmanship, and ongoing issues. Several parts of the job were done incorrectly, including uneven fascia work, misaligned gutters, and unfinished roofing details. Their crew also caused damage to my property. I raised these issues multiple times, and while some problems were acknowledged as their responsibility, the repairs were never fully completed. I've attached photos of only a small fraction of the issues. Despite the unfinished and defective work, Brandon J Roofing continued to demand final payment instead of resolving the issues or offering any compensation. 3 stars because the roof has been installed for @ 1 month and so far no leaks. Our salesman was Alex Martin, a nice enough kid who is desperate to prove himself and work his way up. Assured us that he would be available at all times if we needed anything (the old "promise them the world" line). Our install day got rained out, and we were told, by text, that they would call for a reschedule date. Two days later (no call, text, nada) we are awakened @6:30 am to the sound of footsteps on our roof, and a non English speaking crew shoveling shingles off. No dumpster in the driveway, which would have given us notice that they were about to start. All of the exits from the house were blocked with tarps, and we had handicapped guests who needed to get out with their walker. I called the scheduler and Alex, the guy that was always going to be available, neither one answered. Not being able to communicate with the roofers, I could only watch as they tore off my roof. The dumpster that was finally delivered ended up having two flat tires, and was blocking my garage door. Debris from the tear down was all over the place. They started on a Thursday, didn't finish, and returned Friday. My wife and I were out and about on Friday, and when we came home the roof was finished. The crew, seeing as how it was Friday, hurried up and got it done quickly. With the dumpster still blocking the garage and still having two flats. I called Alex, he was working on a closing or two and exclaimed (again) that he had nothing to do with installs. I called the project manager Curtis Harris (completely useless imho) and got no response. At all. Even after the fact. Useless. Finally, I called his Boss Tom Neldon who said he would have someone take care of the dumpster. And they did. The next day. We did not get a final walkthrough, as promised by Alex and ole useless. Ended up finding @30 nails on and around the driveway, on my back patio and in the yard. Along with roofing debris. The company has a serious lack of communication, from the field employees to the office staff. They do have a lot of shiny trucks with their logo plastered all over them though! I would save yourself a lot of headaches with this company. Tldr: this company is very unprofessional and unresponsive, they will break more than they will fix all while never speaking to you, and you will be forgetton about. Since my initial review, I've found Brandon J to be incredibly unprofessional, unresponsive, and you will get different answers and excuses from every person you can get ahold of. The initial install seemed to go okay, even though the company refused to roof drop my materials, not even bringing the proper equipment to roof drop and then blamed it on the fact they didn't have enough notice (they scheduled my install a month in advance). That's over $900 out of my pocket. It's been two months since then and I've had to have them come out multiple times to fix what they keep breaking. The first time they repaired, I was given zero notice that was happening and the only reason I knew was because my roommate texted me there were people on the roof. When I got home, I noticed the repairs weren't done properly, so I called the contracting company and my project manager, Ben Warren, and got no response. Tyler was the only one who answered and he said he would have Ben call me on Monday. Mon, Tues, and Wed. went by with no call so I asked Tyler for Ben's number to call him myself. After getting him on the phone, we discussed another day for them to come out and, again, fix the repair. Since then Ben has fallen off the face of the planet and won't return my calls so I suppose they put on a new PM, Ryan. I had asked Ben on the phone to set up a time that me and Ryan would meet. The following week, still crickets so I texted him on Thursday asking when the meeting would happen and all I got back was "I'll confirm." The next morning at 6:40, Ben texts me and says "someone will be coming by between 8-9," so I received an 1.5hr notice. And the second time they came by to fix the repair, I woke up AGAIN to a man on my roof, no notice, Ryan didn't know they were there, and the contractor was working on the wrong side of my house. The contracting company Brandon J uses is called VK Contractor and they have no information online. VK Contractor nor Brandon J Roofing gave me any type of notice that the repairs will be done so I randomly have people on my roof at any time of the day or evening and no one follows up afterward to say they came or to do any type of nail sweep. I've had three nails in my tires since they've started working on my house. The amount of frustration I've had with this company is insane and how they've gotten by operating this way for as long as they have baffles me. (Oh, and I still haven't heard from my siding guy since I spoke with him originally in May). read more

Then the head of sales wants to tell me they completed contractural obligations so there would literally be zero customer service discount. I had called Brandon Roofing about my shed roof. The salesman came said unsure of price to fix my shed but would only be a couple hundred no more than 600, as no material was needed just needed to reattach. Then checked my house roof and said I needed a new roof. After all was finally done they charged me 1200 dollars to screw down the tin. After about 5 months the tin came up where they fixed. As it turns out they used the wrong screws. The screws were too short for tin. I've talked to Anna a few times and first time was the price. Unfortunately the salesman that quoted the price no longer worked there. I was raised old school where you were as good as your word. My Aunt was there that day when the salesman quoted me and she heard. Next 3 times it's been about the tin coming up and off. I've been told they would come out to inspect it and have yet for them. They came by my house rang the door bell, we clearly have a sign that says no soliciting!!! My mother in law was dog sitting for us while we were on vacation. We have hail damage from the May 16th so I went ahead and called them when we got home. I set up an appointment with a guy named Brad same person that left his card on my door. I would steer clear of this company if you value good communication or quality and timely workmanship from your contractor. This may very well be the most challenging company I've had to deal with. I chose Brandon J based on the recommendation of a neighbor and my initial salesperson Kile was fine. He took care of insurance and helped me purchase my shingles. Then he disappeared. On 8/15/24, the day of the roof install I was assigned Curtis as a project manager. The crew that my roof was subcontracted to was drinking on the job and on my roof until 9pm the first night. They trashed my yard and left nails, beer cans, and debris everywhere. I went outside and asked the roofers to stop working twice. They only stopped and covered my roof AFTER it started raining and lightening. I was unable to get ahold of any one at Brandon J during this time. Curtis was unavailable and there was no one at the office to help. The next day I emailed the company and Curtis asking that they see me before work continued on the roof. So naturally the roofers showed up and started working before Curtis came to my home. Curtis was apologetic and assured me that the team who had been drinking was fired and my roof was in good hands. On 8/23/24 it's finally time to get my gutters installed and put an end to this nightmare of a project. Lo and behold Curtis is no where to be found and they forgot to install a downspout on my deck and left another entire downspout of trash in my yard. I have called the office 3 times to get this taken care of and they just add notes to the account for someone else to deal with. Fast forward to 8/29/24 and I now notice a water spot on my kitchen ceiling. Directly under the part of the roof that they were working on in the dark and the rain. I call the office and the lady who picks up adds more notes to my file and says someone named "John" will give me a call when he's not so busy. We contracted with Brandon J Roofing to replace the roof at our lake home that was damaged in a hail storm. That was in May 2025. The roof was scheduled to be replaced on July 8 2025. The roofers mistakenly delivered the roofing materials on June 29 2025. Poor communication between Brandon J and their roofing contractor. On July 8 the roofer did not show up until 8:15 a.m. The dropped their tandem axle trailer in front of our garage where our truck was parked. Then the roofer left without telling us. An hour later we called Brandon J to see what was going on. The roofers said one of their crew had car problems and so they left for the day. We could not get out of our garage. We had Brandon J send the roofers back to remove the trailer. Our gravel driveway and lawn were significantly damaged by the roofers truck and trailer. We cancelled the job. Had Brandon J return to retrieve all roofing materials from our property. Will never deal with Brandon J again. Is it possible to give a rating less than 1? read more

I had damage to my roof called BJR, Jessie the employee came out and according to him I needed a new roof due to storm damage. We negotiated with State Farm and over a period of months they denied the claim. I had a leak so I needed the repairs. After all of that and months later Jessie told me they don't do repairs that small and referred me to bone dry roofing (which proved to be another cluster). BJR had tarped the roof. I found another contractor who went up on the roof to again tarp the roof because BJR hadn't put the tarp over the right spot. He told me that BJR needed to come out and remove their tarp because they nailed it to the roof and the nails may provide another avenue for rain to get in. I called BJR and the receptionist told me that I'd be charged for it. I get a call from Curtis who told me that someone will be out to remove the tarp even though they didn't get the job. I called Curtis and told him that the reason they didn't get the job is because Jessie told me that the job was too small he apologized and said that's why Jessie wasn't with them. I told him that the contractor I was going to use had tarped the roof over the right spot and not to remove that tarp. The guy comes out takes the tarp off. My son gets home and ask where the tarp is. The employ from BJR removed both tarps. I called Curtis that night they were gone already I asked that they come back and put the tarp they took off in error back on. A while later I open my side door to get a package and guess what, the tarp came s in my driveway. I checked my ring camera and it shows one of their employees just dumping the tarp in the driveway. One word to describe Brandon J Roofing is the company "sucks". We signed a contract to replace roof and siding. Roof seems to be okay but siding project is a nightmare. Installers don't let you know when they arrive but start hammering on the house. Installers disconnected our internet and air conditioner without informing us. My spouse works from home and lost 4 hours of programming. Air conditioner did not come back on right away. The project manager says well the unit is old. A/C unit is less than 3 years old and the control panel says not communicating with outside unit. The system is getting power but something your workers did caused an issue. Project manager kept making excuses and only calls or stops by in stealth mode so you can't take to him directly. Not enough siding was ordered and the excuse is people make mistakes. Brandon J Roofing was suppose to order ornamental vent cover but did not and tried to sneak white on house. The choices of siding was done in late 2024. As of July 2025, a partially completed siding job. No employee returns calls and project managers only want to talk on phone never in person. A nightmare company to work with. read more

First and Worst roof experience hands down. My roof didn't leak until I called BJR. The installers ripped a cable off my house and then just tied it up. The first major rain storm after the install we found a leak. It leaked from my attic to my basement. I don't get anyone on the phone till 15 days later. Probably only because I harassed them for contact. Was then told it was part of the chimney needed to be repaired and it wasn't their fault which means they wouldn't cover damages inside or forgive the final balance. Now I have to pay the final bill, pay for the repairs from my attic to my basement, and fix the chimney. Save yourself. Pick someone else. This company came out and knocked on my door and said I had hail damage. The adjuster from my insurance came out and said the roof was fine. Luke from Brannon roofing said to him, oh come on give it to me.This cost me a claim on my insurance even though there was nothing paid out. I would not do business with them.
