Where to begin. #1. Our friends use to own this company and sold it to the new owner Jake. This company is no longer owned by anyone in the Gallagher family. #2. Willie at Gallagher is a straight up con man and lied about everything from siding to gutter guards. #3. Gallagher uses all unvetted illegal labor on your home. The horrendous job completed by them resulted in over 40 different issues excluding the fact that they did not waterproof my house by replacing the Tyvek and blatantly lied to my face about it. I had them pull back the siding and could see the results, they apologized and replaced the entire job after much deliberation. #4. They (Willie) went out of their way to show me these beautiful aluminum gutter guards and had me hold them showing me what was going on my house. They tore off all of my perfectly fine gutter guards and replaced them with cheap crap that blows off constantly all over my house. #5. When contacting Gallagher attempting to speak to the owner, he blocked me. When I requested that they either follow through with what was promised or replace what I had before they ever touched them, they EXTORTED me for an additional $1,700. BUYER BEWARE. I really wanted to love this company based on their great reviews and online presence but unfortunately had a very poor experience. Things started off awesome with a very prompt and polite follow up to my online inquiry. Mary was able to schedule a technician to come out for a roof inspection within a couple of days. I'm out of state and offered to have a family member meet the inspector at the house but Mary said that wasn't necessary and that she could have the inspector call me once he was on site which is awesome because I'm currently out of state trying to manage the repair of my Grandfather's house (in the middle of a pandemic) which certainly isn't ideal. Unfortunately, the appointment day came and went, and I didn't receive a phone call. I left a message at the end of the day to inquire about what had happened and didn't receive a call back after a couple of days, so I tried calling again. I finally got through three days after the scheduled inspection and was told that Mary was on the phone but that the reason the inspector had not come out on Saturday was due to rain, which felt like a very reasonable excuse. When I asked about the possibility of rescheduling and told the woman who answered the phone that I was not local things took a very hostile turn. The woman seemed absolutely incredulous that I would even be calling her with such an ask and said that Mary was "new" and should've never told me that an inspector could come out without the homeowner present. She then went on a rant about how Mary should've been returning calls and some other inconsequential things. When I tried to stop her to offer a local relative up to meet the technician she doubled down and indicated that this would be a "waste of time" for such a small company of 10 people and we should find another company because they have had "non-payment issues" with people from out of town. And then she hung up in my face. Against better judgment, I called back to make sure she'd actually hung up and that I wasn't accidentally disconnected, and she was even more rude the second time and reiterated that my business wasn't welcome. I still haven't heard back from anyone so am assuming maybe they were burned by someone out of state but the horrendous treatment I experienced by this woman was totally uncalled for. read more

Got and estimate from Gallagher.. that was two months old.. called them to go ahead.. they said "Glad you called now because prices are going up on Monday!" So met with them and gave them a check and signed a new contract on the Thursday before.. they called on Saturday and told us that they wouldn't honor THEIR bid and wanted 25% more than the bid and if we didn't agree that day the price would go up another 5%!!!! Obviously or not we did not use them .. be careful in dealing with people who give prices, sign contracts and cash your check and then back out of the price THEY gave you!!!! Can't say enough about the excellent quality and workmanship received from Gallagher Bros Construction. Rex Anderson was fantastic to work with and provided answers to all our questions and walked us through the whole project without a hitch. Did a tear off and some replacement of much needed plywood and replaced skylights and a great looking new roof. They worked with our insurance company and were able to get us exactly what we needed unlike the roofing company we fired and replaced with Gallagher Bros. The installers did a wonderful job and were hard working, very professional and courteous. Also did fantastic job cleaning up all of the debris. Gallagher Bros is the way to go! read more

I contacted them for a free estimate on my roof. They were fast to come out and really honest. All of the staff I spoke with were incredibly friendly. The staff member who came to my house respected social distancing, too, which has been uncommon for companies that I've had come by lately. Unfortunately(??), they reported that my roof is in good shape, so I couldn't do business with them. I look forward to having the opportunity in the future. read more

We have an old 1880s south city home with a flat roof that required a full tear off. We got a TPO roof and gutters. We were extremely satisfied. First, they were quick to respond and schedule a visit. Also, they set real expectations on the quote,given that we needed a few feet of rebuilding and that the quote may increase. We were able to anticipate the additional costs, and the price was still consistently lower than the the other 5 quotes from competitors. The process only took a few days and the cleanup was good and quick. 100% would recommend. Jeremy was excellent to work with. read more

We contacted Gallagher after a big hail storm to come and check our roof for damage. They came out and looked it over and told us that a new roof was needed. They did a fantastic job on the roof and it was completed very quickly and they cleaned up the mess after them with nothing laying around. We have since contacted them to put a new deck on the back of our house along with a new back door. They do some great work and the workers are very friendly and get the job done quickly. I recently had Gallagher bros construction replace my roof. Everyone I had contact with from their company was extremely professional, and friendly. The work done on my roof was excellent. They did the work on a Sunday, since it had rained Saturday. Patrick was my contact person, and kept me updated during all phases of the work. Rex was a pleasure to work with and the roof they put on my house in December of 2021 looks great . . . so why not 5 stars? #1: They never called me to tell me they were coming to my house at 7am on December 18th (2021) when my 2 children were sleeping upstairs. Woke up the house. #2: They put on 5 inch flashing on my stucco dormers (that I am sure meets code but they never told me they had to do this.) After new gutters were installed on our home last year by Gallagher Bros, we developed a small leak with two water stains showing up in the corner of our ceiling in our dining room. Two different roofing companies looked at the roof and suggested more protective flashing needs to go under our shingles and into our gutter. To me this sounds like a defective gutter design / install. My wife and I have both reached out to GB and after weeks, no one has shown up to look at the situation for us. If you use GB, I hope you have better luck than us. I feel my two stars is a bit generous at this point, but I'm hoping for some attention from them soon. read more

Our realtor recommended Gallagher Bros to fix our roof and siding issues caused by weather damage. Our insurance company also recommended them and were happy that we chose them because they said they are easy to work with. I was referred to Gallagher to handle my roof claim after we had hail and storm damage. Rex was my contact and he was great. Helped throughout the entire process and was great at communicating. There were no surprise charges or changes to the bill after the initial conversation. The work was completed within the timeline that was quoted. Gallagher met or exceeded all my expectations and I would recommend using them or at least having them quote/discuss any project. I have to first start out saying that the person that wrote the bad review about the door hangers is wrong for doing that. give a bad review and ruin a companies rating over a door hanger ? come on ! get a life ! That said I had these guys come out and inspect my roof. The gentleman was on-time. after he climbed on the roof and looked around a while he came back to me with his assessment, "you don't need a roof just yet". Wow ! are you kidding me ? someone who is honest in the construction trade ? It blew me away. I will definitely call these guys when it is time to replace my roof. read more
