Schneider Roofing is great to work with. The hardest part about working with a roofer is that you usually need them during a difficult time such as a leaky roof after a hailstorm. That is where Charlie and his crew shine. They get you a quick estimate and work closely with your insurance company to be sure that all repairs are completed to your satisfaction as well as the Insurance Company. Charlie has proven to me that his integrity is second to none when it comes to being honest a fair. When you're looking for a local roofer that will keep his promise just give Charlie Schneider at Schneider Roofing a call and you are talking to the boss. read more

10 years after original install a slight problem. They came right out and corrected. Always stand behind their work and respond without delay. Great company and great staff. Always professional and great service. read more

I hired Schneider to replace roof, siding, and gutters on a 4 family in st Charles. They were not good with getting things done in a timely manner or communicating. They use subcontractors which I was not impressed with. They did however come and fix things they messed up. Price was more than I wanted to pay but thought I was using a company that did their own work and was willing to pay for that. It took about 10 months from estimate to completion of job. read more

Excellent Company. They installed all new siding, soffits, gutters, fascia, and roof. They stand by there work Charlie is fantastic. I highly recomend this company. They are excellent. read more

The team at Schneider Roofing did an incredible job from start to finish. Charles did a comprehensive survey of the roof after a hail storm at one of my rental properties. I decided to replace the gutters and got three quotes. One from Schneider and one from each of two competitors. Schneider was far and away the most professional and prompt bid I received. His office staff and installation crews were top notch as well as friendly and knowledgeable. I think that in the future Schneider Roofing will be getting all my business. Thanks, Paul Trebus Anchor Holdings LLC read more

The quote was really fair, and the work was excellent. I had them come out to replace my detached garage roof, and team was there when they said they would be, and they were done in a matter of a few hours, with cleanup done to where you could not even tell they had been there, other than a new roof. One of my best contractor experiences ever. read more

One of my neighbors had a post on our subdivision Facebook page asking for a roofing recommendation. Since I too needed some repair work I followed the post and saw where more than a dozen people recommended Schneider. I called today thinking I would get an appointment set up to provide an estimate. Instead, I talked with John who offered to come out later today and take a look. He called before coming, arrived on time and better yet fixed it all the same day since he had some singles already in his truck and did it for less than my first bid. Very professional man and even enlightened my husband and I about the condition of our roof and what we should look for in the future. So happy we got it all done in one trip and we can go on not worrying about the missing shingles and chance of a leak. Thanks again!!! read more

I'm not sure what is going on with Schneider now. Have used them in the past with no issue. The latest repair we had done has been a mess from start to finish-no reply to phone calls, estimates took forever to get completed, and the final straw when I paid the final payment they charges my credit card the entire job amount not the amount due! The work is done well but the office staff is very poor. read more

It was great to work with Charlie Schneider. He met with our adjuster for the review of my claim. Charlie provided a very reasonable estimate working within the parameters as outlined by my adjuster.. loved the results of my new roof and gutters. Charlie is very responsive to phone calls. Would highly recommend Schneider Roofing. Thanks! read more

We had a very good experience with Schneider Roofing. They installed the roof a few years ago. Everything went well. We recently had to call them for a minor repair and the follow up customer service was very good. They handled the request promptly and professionally. I recommend this company. read more

Wonderful people to work with! Fast AND friendly! Great job at a good price! The job was done in one day, start to finish! They have the highest standards in quality service. At the time of bid inspection, he found an urgent need for a few shingles so he actually repaired them on the spot! Other bidders passed them right over and suggested covering over what we had without removing the old roof. Certain problems would not have been revealed had we gone that route. He also worked hard getting the best price on materials, keeping the cost down. Need a roof? This is your guy! read more

Gutter leaf guards put on great job good prices. Then a huge wind storm blew some shingles off, showed back up and fixed it at the same time. They had the proper color shingles in truck. Good job read more

To say they are the best in town would be a fib; cause I haven't experienced all the other roofers:) My experience w/Schneider has me as a repeat customer which means I will not be experiencing another company as long as they continue to give quality, reasonable service. I am a shut-in and unable to visit the job site. I request pictures of the finished project and I also went sneaky...I had another roofing company inspect the roof for possible problems to which they responded "everything was fine and in tack", my tenant concurred. The other roofer couldn't even fake a mistake. I have hired Schneider for repairs to my home roof and replacement for a rental and have been very satisfied with their skills and customer service experienced from the office. GREAT COMPANY....no joke...I call it like I experience it:) read more

I had a wonderful experience with Schneider Roofing. They installed the roof three years ago. Everything went smoothly. I recently had to call them for an issue (turns out it wasn't caused by the roof install) and the follow up customer service was exceptional. They handled the request with urgency. Charlie installed a fix quickly and very reasonably priced. I recommend them without hesitation. read more

Charlie did a great job fixing our roof. Unfortunately I was taken by some storm chasers 2 yrs ago. My roof was in desperate need of repair. He came out and did the work in a timely manner and fair price. He is polite and approachable unlike the previous roofing company. He has a customer for life. read more

Charlie came out and inspected the roof and found no damage. It's rare when a company will come out and not find anything to repair...and not charge you a dime to look! Please do yourself a favor and use these folks! I'd give more stars if I could.... read more

I called Schneider after a windstorm blew several shingles off of my roof. They came right out and surveyed the damage and emailed me an estimate. In a couple more days they were able to get me on the schedule and complete the repairs. Chris was on time, efficient, and courteous. He matched the color of the old shingles perfectly. Quick response, great price, quality work,we will be using Schneider again in the future and we couldn't recommend Charlie and his company more highly ! read more

Terrible communication and customer service. I never actually had any work done because they would never call me back. They came out for an estimate after two requests to schedule. They never followed up after the initial estimate. I called back 3 times and left messages to schedule the work. They called me back and couldn't find my quote. I called back twice more to schedule and never heard back. Not sure how a business can operate this way. read more

We have used Schneider a. Inner of times for our roof. They are always quick and reasonable to work with.

Very unprofessional. Was working with one of their roofers who came out to do an assessment, which went well, he even met with my insurance adjuster when she came out - but when she said the damaged area wouldn't meet my deductible they didn't seem interested in helping anymore. Didn't reply to multiple voice-mails, texts, and e-mails. At least let me know you don't want to take the job on so I don't sit around with a damaged roof waiting for direction! Sad! read more

Great job! Kudos to the Schneider crew. Thank you Cheryl and Charlie for working so hard to complete my gutters. They look amazing

Schneider Roofing could not have made our roof claim any easier. It was my first homeowner's claim and they met with our adjuster to review what they found as a roofer, provided all of the necessary paperwork for me to submit when asked, and gave us time to pay the balance (we were waiting on a 2nd check from our insurance company after the repair was made). Schneider is thorough, accommodating and performs quality work. It doesn't get better than that. read more

I have never been as disappointed with a company as I am with Schneider. We had a great experience last year when Charlie showed up to look at a leak and ended up fixing our roof same day. Unfortunately it leaked again this year and it has been like working with a completely different company in the worst way possible. We went weeks with no returned phone calls until Charlie came by to check things out. Again, he was helpful, kind and respectful. He explained the situation and got us a bid to fix it. We tried to call the main number multiple times over a couple of weeks and never heard back. Finally I got a call in the middle of a work day with someone saying they could be at my house in two hours, but nothing had been scheduled previously. When I said I couldn't leave my job, I was met with attitude and condescension, but we rescheduled the appointment. They never showed up for their appointment, and when I called, Courtney, the woman who answered, had no idea who I was or that there was supposed to be a repair at my house. She was kind and seemed willing to help, saying she'd do some digging and would call me back. She called back and handed the phone to Bob. I'm not sure who Bob is, but I've never been so disrespected in my entire life. He yelled at me, talked over me, lied about me and my husband, and accused me of asking for free work. After being completely rude, demeaning and condescending, he then said they refuse to work with us and will not stand by the work they already did. He continued to tell me he'd "pray for me, because I need it". I tried to end the conversation multiple times, but he kept demeaning me. He finally tried to hang up on me, but failed, so I heard him screaming about me in the background before he finally hung up. Never have I ever been treated so poorly in my life, and especially by a Christian company. It's very disappointing because we were so grateful for Schneider the first time they did a repair at our house. Courtney did have a long list of people that no longer work for Schneider, now I understand why. read more

Schneider repaired my roof and did it in a prompt manner after a wind storm. Everything went smoothly. Highly recommend.

Prompt and knowledgeable. Fixed roof same day with the materials we had salvaged from the storm. Very reasonable pricing. Would definitely recommend!!! read more

Was quick to respond and gave a thorough explanation of work needed and possibilities for gutter guards., Very polite. Quote was very reasonable. Waited three weeks for supplies and to get scheduled. But once they were here the work was finished in two days. And any questionable areas were addressed on the spot to be sure I would be satisfied. Very nice to deal with these folks. read more

My entire experience with John Kelemen from Schneider Roofing was absolutely outstanding. I was selling my home and the buyer wanted a new roof. John came on Christmas day to take a look at it for me and give me a professional opinion. He told me that he saw some hail damage and I might want to call my insurance company. Turned out he was correct and we were authorized a new roof. Of course I called John and the crews which came out to do the work both roof and gutters were great1 Thank you John read more

I came across Charlie's business on Yelp, didn't expect too much. However, I did asked three different vendors to give me an estimate. Charlie was the quickest turnaround and gave me the lowest quotes of them all. He was very professional and seemed to be extremely knowledgeable about his line of business. I also had some minor damage on the vents, others made a big deal and suggested me to fix it right away. He told me they were not as serious. He took a picture and sent it to me. They were barely noticeable. I live out of town and never met this guy, everything did over the phone. He could have charged me more if he wanted to, but he didn't. He is an honest guy and only does honest work. I will recommend him to anyone I know! Thank you! read more

Schneider Roofing and Remodeling has repaired siding for us on two different occasions. First was after a wind-storm blew siding off the side of our house on the second level. They came out quickly to give a bid, gave an extremely reasonable price, and put us on the schedule right away. They were prompt, the siding matched perfectly, and we have had no further problems with the wind-storms. The second time they came out was to repair a few pieces on the back after our deck contractor broke them. The deck contractor actually had their own siding guy look at it first, but he could not do the work. I offered to have Charlie from Schneider Roofing and Remodeling look at it and he was able to make the repairs look easy. read more
