The receptionist was a good first impression of the company. The guy who came out was amazing. I was so impressed by him. He called 2 days in advance and said that he might be able to come out even earlier than the appointment. Score! The day I was scheduled for was rainy. I almost thought they might cancel due to the weather conditions, but nope! My guy called and came out earlier than scheduled (which worked well for me). It was rainy, but without any doubt he pulled out his ladder and got to work. He diagnosed, corrected and filled me in on the problem in less than 10 minutes. He was also just so up-right and friendly!! It was like he were a worker from an idealized 1950s. And even though it was raining and he had other appointments to get to, he offered to give me an estimate on installing gutter guards. He measured every gutter around my house and garage and then got my email so he could send me the formal estimate. It came later that day. Such impressive service! Three times, we…read morejust patched our roof, but after this last one, the time had finally come to file an insurance claim and get it replaced. We have State Farm, and they referred us to Black Dog Roofing, and are we glad they did?! Every step of the way, it's been a fantastic experience with Black Dog. John came out, inspected and marked the roof, answered all our questions, advocated with the State Farm appraiser, and recommended some strategic upgrades that make a ton of sense. They guided us through materials and color selection (including running multiple samples out to us when we couldn't make up our minds), worked with us on payment, and were in constant communication via text, answering my questions and in general making everything easy. They acted fast too. It took a little over a month from start to finish to get our new roof, and we love it. The materials arrived exactly when they said they would, and so did the workers. Then they got it done in a single day, and when we got home, we couldn't even tell they had been there. It was like a new roof just magically appeared on our home. Awesome. Everything I'd hoped for. In terms of cost, I have never gotten a new roof before, so I have no frame of reference, but the costs all along the way felt reasonable to me. And insurance covered most of it (except the upgrades, obviously), which was great. Next, they are replacing one elevation of siding and then our gutters and downspouts. I'll update my review after that's done, but so far I couldn't be more pleased. If you need work on your roof, definitely check these guys out.

Now the j-channel and siding along several roof-to-wall intersections are significantly warping, buckling, and pulling away from the house. It's doing this on the front and back slopes of my home where the j-channel meets the shingles (see the additional photos I posted). My original review documents all the problems I had working with Stonebridge over the 7-months it took them to finish my project. Three months after the finish date, I'm now having more issues from the work they did. If you want your roof/siding job to go smoothly, be managed properly, and be installed correctly the first time, I highly recommend you look to another company. Although I appreciate Stonebridge standing behind their work, I do not recommend using them due to the poor installation and project management issues I've experienced working with them.
