The receptionist was a good first impression of the company. The guy who came out was amazing. I was so impressed by him. He called 2 days in advance and said that he might be able to come out even earlier than the appointment. Score! The day I was scheduled for was rainy. I almost thought they might cancel due to the weather conditions, but nope! My guy called and came out earlier than scheduled (which worked well for me). It was rainy, but without any doubt he pulled out his ladder and got to work. He diagnosed, corrected and filled me in on the problem in less than 10 minutes. He was also just so up-right and friendly!! It was like he were a worker from an idealized 1950s. And even though it was raining and he had other appointments to get to, he offered to give me an estimate on installing gutter guards. He measured every gutter around my house and garage and then got my email so he could send me the formal estimate. It came later that day. Such impressive service! Now the j-channel and siding along several roof-to-wall intersections are significantly warping, buckling, and pulling away from the house. It's doing this on the front and back slopes of my home where the j-channel meets the shingles (see the additional photos I posted). My original review documents all the problems I had working with Stonebridge over the 7-months it took them to finish my project. Three months after the finish date, I'm now having more issues from the work they did. If you want your roof/siding job to go smoothly, be managed properly, and be installed correctly the first time, I highly recommend you look to another company. Although I appreciate Stonebridge standing behind their work, I do not recommend using them due to the poor installation and project management issues I've experienced working with them.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had…read more Had a roof inspection done with the intent to get a detailed report of my roof, with photos and descriptions of the current status. Probably the most basic service a roofing company can offer. They failed to deliver at almost every step of the way. Took me 2 months to be able to get the report. But the stress along the way in having to deal with the company was unbelievable. I have had to follow up with over 15 emails, 20 phone calls, and countless texts asking for the report. Every time a new version was issued, it was incomplete, and the customer service got worse. First, the report was a poorly handwritten note by the inspector. Then, when I mentioned again the need for a report that included all the photos taken, with descriptions, in the company's official letterhead, the new versions came with only a handful of photos and no descriptions. My requests were passed around countless times, and every time the new assignee did a worse job. As my follow ups started to tally up, the reports missed photos, missed descriptions, time and time again. My requests were never escalated to management, and when I asked for a call back or status update, they never got back to me. Their admin - the person I was interacting with directly and for most of all of these requests - is an absolute incompetent at her job. I cannot reiterate enough. When I got fed up with it all, after two months of trying, I asked for a refund. When I picked up the check, their admin didn't even look me in the eye, didn't say a single 'sorry' - she just handed me the check with an entitled face as if I'm giving her more work. I was speechless with the interaction and simply walked out of their office. But it gets worse. The second that I cashed the check, the inspector called me and yelled at me for requesting a refund for a service that he had done, but his team never delivered or completed based on my needs and countless asks. Only then did the owner of the company called me, trying to fix things, and to get the job that his team was unable to do, done properly. Although he apologized for his team's incompetence and ability to deal with a basic service and to deliver on my clear and repeated requests, he still had the courage to ask me to remake the payment for the terrible service. I laughed in total disbelief. After two months, dozens of calls, texts, and emails, I finally got the report. Their team didn't know how to work correctly the system to be able to issue it correctly. Will never rehire this company or recommend to anyone that I know. If they can't deliver on an inspection report, I can't imagine the other services.

We called them to investigate & they discovered they forgot to seal/cover a vent cap. They fixed it a few days later and looked at the ceiling damage. There were multiple appointments made for ceiling repair and no one showed up. We took several days off work to meet them. We called several times for updates and no one returned our calls. We corresponded with the owner several times and it still took months to get the ceiling repaired. When they finally repainted the ceiling they did not use tarps, so there were paint speckles over the entire room, on the curtain and on the light shade, and they did not edge. They also replaced the window trim. They left the site without completing the job. We had to call them to let them know they needed to come back to finish. They caulked our window shut. After a successful and responsive refinishing project I had high hopes for painting of my interior…read morehome. All started well enough, and we got things started. I was under the impression that these were direct employees of his, his crew. Basically he was acting as a general contractor that hired another company or hired some people looking for work. Not really sure here. I realize I made some changes, but they were clear and written in a revised proposal. I didn't want the doors painted, then I got a phone call that they were painted. Sure, he didn't charge me for this, but that is proper after all. I didn't want the trim painted, and paid for that, because I missed it in the proposal. My fault. They also painted the hardware for opening/closing the windows, those were metal and need the proper paint, I did have them take that off. The house didn't have flooring in, so I was asked about drop cloths, I said use them but don't worry too much about a few paint splatters. However, I did indicate that I wasn't removing the slate flooring and to be careful. Here is a big fail, many paint spots. He tried to have them clean it up. Now the floor is sticky, you can here the soles of your shoes and feel it too. He tried cleaning that up, when it wasn't done, he offered to do it again. I really felt he had done enough. I'm still trying to find a way to clean this up, because it's sticky any dust or what not sticks to it. It's really upsetting, as I loved this detail. I will look to bring in some professionals and see what this will set me back. There's also spots on the bathroom floors, which were also said that I wasn't removing. And those doors that were painted, they weren't dry and were closed, now that paint has popped off, so I have to touch that up, or maybe just start replacing doors. I realize also this review is a year since the work was done, I was in the middle of doing the rest of the work this last year. I almost considered them for doing the kitchen rehab. I really feel I dodged a bullet there. Noah, is a nice man, I think his intentions are good. However, the whole interior project was a mess, left me very frustrated, and I have projects left to do because of it. I don't think he checked up on the work as it was being done, and I don't think he looked at it after until I contacted him. Paint shouldn't have been on that slate, nor should you stick to your floor. I also had to point on paint spots on light fixtures, that should've been cleaned. Just no.
