The owner whom I met while walking the block responded to my request for bid immediately and all follow up was quick, thorough, transparent and personal. He responded that very day. They communicated by text, email and phone and I could choose what worked best for me in any given exchange. It is so easy to get business done when a company uses all the tech available to them to reach their clients. I work full time and do not have the time to deal with any Mickey-Mouse operation who doesn't text or use other forms of communication, or takes forever to respond in 2024. 2. They are local, so I trusted them more. I was worried about shady contractors, so I liked that they had a local business address and staff who answer a phone, email paperwork etc. They also worked within what my insurance budget. Everything from the bid to the bill was above board, not shady! 3. The crew were the most hardworking I have ever seen. And, it was so hot that week! ‍They cleaned up after each session and were professional, polite and most of all very kind people. They kept their work contained in my yard and parked properly near my house in the street. They didn't encroach upon the neighbors' property. I received no calls or complaints. They kept all their equipment in order and they were not in our way. They parked their own dumpster to toss the old roof, and someone even came quietly after dark to retrieve it. There was no evidence of their trash, not a speck - impressive! 4. When it came time for me to pay, they offered to pick up the check personally because I was worried about mailing it. I signed a contract with Stonebridge Roofing on 11/3/2025, and my large roofing/siding project was finished on 5/27/26. Now that it's been a couple months, I wanted to share my experience working with the company. Throughout the project, I found the sales rep, office staff, and management to be courteous, professional, and generally responsive. When I reported concerns, Stonebridge agreed to fix the issues and worked through many of the problems I identified. Unfortunately, the installation side of the project was much more challenging. The biggest issues in my experience were with workmanship and quality control. Although Stonebridge has quality control people, it often seemed that completed work was not thoroughly inspected before crews left the job site. Instead, many issues were discovered only after I identified them and brought them to Stonebridge. Some examples of the issues I discovered included: - Step flashing had not been installed in one area where the roof meets a wall; wood was exposed. - A bathroom exhaust vent opening was completely covered over with siding. - Exterior light fixture mounting blocks and trim pieces were either installed crooked, not fully seated, or missing altogether. - Loose, bulging, and damaged siding in multiple areas. - Exposed nails through flashing, and bent drip edge. - Multiple areas where the roofing, siding, flashing, fascia, or trim installation required correction or replacement due to poor workmanship. These examples represent only a portion of a multi-page punch list I was asked to create by Stonebridge to document the issues. Another recurring challenge was communication between sales/project management and the onsite crews. I often discussed specific install details or repair issues with sales or office personnel, but many times that information was not communicated to the crews performing the work. Installers would arrive without a clear understanding of previous discussions, requiring the same issues to be explained multiple times. An additional challenge was the language barrier with the non-English speaking onsite crews. By itself, this would not have been a concern if there had been stronger supervision and communication from Stonebridge project management. However, when questions arose about workmanship or repairs, it was very difficult to communicate directly with the installers. My goal with this review is to provide an honest account of my experience so prospective customers know what they may encounter. If you choose Stonebridge, my advice is to stay actively involved throughout your project, inspect the workmanship carefully, ask questions, and don't assume completed work has already been reviewed or inspected. In my experience, Stonebridge was willing to respond after problems were identified, but much of the responsibility for finding those problems fell on me, the homeowner. They no showed no response until 2 days later. 2.When I called that day to confirm 2hrs past time, someone answered didn't respond then I proceeded to explain my situation and to check and make sure I'm not wrong with my times. They hire the lowest cost Hispanic crews to do their work who have absolutely no knowledge or skill to perform the jobs with any form of basic workmanship. Mistake after mistake redo after redo. Had them do a few projects for me. I don't have the time nor energy to get into every detail of what went wrong because I could write a book on all the nonsense I had to deal with from them. Long story short they get the work done but it takes waaaayyy longer to get it done than they lead you to believe.Communication is ABYSMAL! Their clean up after the work is done is even worse. Leaving glass everywhere in my house for anyone to step on when they replaced a window (one of many projects I had them take care of). I got more than enough apologies from them after mistake after mistake after mistake after lack of communication, but never anyone actually fixing the problem or them doing better. I couldn't in good conscience recommend them to anyone. Again they get the work done but that's the only positive thing I have to say about them. Other than that good luck if you decide to go with them. You'll see why you should have taken heed of this review warning. read more

Hired this company to replace our vinyl siding. We are satisfied with the end result, but there are several things that lead to this less-than-stellar review. The communication and follow up was fantastic.. until you sign the contract. Then, like most contractors, it's on you to follow up with them for any information. For example, we were told we'd be called when materials would be dropped off... and again when the job was scheduled. Nope... they just show up without warning, so you better be ready at any time. Also READ YOUR ENTIRE CONTRACT CAREFULLY after any change or edit is made. Our salesperson removed a line item without our knowledge or consent, and tried to pass it off like it wasn't a bad business practice. We wrote the company to make them aware and request resolution, and there was no response other than the salesperson calling with excuses. read more

He assisted us in getting an inspection from our insurance, and met them on site so they could look at the roof together. He also answered our questions about coding regulations. BEWARE of this Company and Michael J.. His only concern is sales & commission. Left 6,000 lbs of materials in one small spot on my roof for days. I called & said I heard cracking & popping & he ignored me. Fast forward 4 days later & his company had to come at midnight to move all the materials from that one spot. Michael J. stood in my living room with his associates and the supply company, looked me in my eyes, and said: "if your roof falls in over the weekend, don't call me, call him" (on camera)! WTH, your company hired them, and I told you something was wrong. I had to hire a structural engineer, come to find out they caused major damage. Michael J told me NOT to tell my insurance company (caught on camera), told me to get my own engineer because Roof Depot (the supply co) wasn't trustworthy (caught on audio), also tried to get me to sign a waiver so his company who I have the contract with wouldn't be liable - that's not how things go. Offered me $1k to sign when they've caused over $43k in damages. If you know me, you know my last review on Yelp was in early October. Right when I started dealing with the damage they caused and this mess. This two-day project started in Oct 2019 and we are in a whole new year. I've only been in St. Louis to deal with my Mothers passing and handle her home and they have made this hurtful time 1,000 times harder for me. It's affecting my health (mentally and physically) and has substantially affected my pockets via having to hire other professionals and losing time away from work because I have had to be in St, Louis to deal with their mess + I can't sell the home now due to the damage they have caused. Liars, sneaky, immoral, untrustworthy - DON'T DO IT. This company/Michael J has NO integrity and only uses seasonal Mexican workers & it doesn't appear they treat them well either. He wants me to be quiet but I won't, not until they do right. From all these inflated 5-star reviews - it looks like they try and silence others who won't give them a perfect rating. Another example of his level of dishonesty - deplorable, immoral, sneaky, dishonest, disgusting - karma is real, and God doesn't like ugly. I am updating my review to add a fifth star. Since my last review on them, I have used Stonebridge Roofing two more times on a condo I rehabbed in Saint Louis City: once for full window removal/ installation (I provided the five windows) and the next time to caulk and flash the front exterior door. On both occasions I worked with Fernando and his team. The second time Fernando's team was out, at no additional cost, they also fixed an issue that had come up after they had installed the window earlier this year (the front window opening mechanism needed to be oiled). Fernando was on top of things and up until the second service was complete, he did everything as promised. That said, at the time I write this review I am still waiting on a Paid-in-Full receipt for the exterior door work despite the fact Fernando promised to mail it the following day (that was a week ago). One thing I would like to note: the services I hired Stonebridge Roofing for have been excellent and I will continue to consider hiring them in the future. However, both Mike and Fernando are very aggressive about getting 5 star reviews on yelp, YP, Google, and Angie's List. If this is something that bothers you or makes your uncomfortable, I would consider looking for a contractor elsewhere. read more

I took a chance, as I knew I didn't want to use one of the companies that came knocking down my door on a daily basis. Stonebridge did an excellent job. I had relatives coming in 10 days from the initial consultation. The moved some things around and were able to get my roof, downspouts, gutters, and screens fixed, all before the family arrived. I recently had Stonebridge come out to my Creve Coeur home to give an unbiased evaluation of my roof, as several neighbors had recently replaced roofs due to hail damage over the past year. I asked Stonebridge for an asessment based on a referral from my insurance agent (and not the roofers leaving flyers at my front door while they were "in the neighborhood"). Not only did Stonebridge come out immediately and tell me the base roof was fine, they suggested some remedial repairs based on squirrel damage (something I was already aware of -- having replaced skylight frames a few months earlier due to squirrel damage). Beyond these repairs, I also asked that an old, rusty satellite dish be removed and the shingles underneath repaired, all of which was done to my satisfaction. The new shingle matched very well as a matter of fact. When the manager (Fernando) came out the same day of the repairs to inspect his team's work, he let me get up on the roof with him to walk me through what was done. He saw a few things to tidy up, and so spent another half hour himself on the roof himslef adding some finishing touches. He also snapped some photos so he could further train his crew (who were quite polite and punctual, by the way). So few come to the door these days -- before they start work -- to let you know they were there and would be starting. Fernando kept me updated by email or phone throughout the process and always communicated or showed up when he said he would. He also always called ahead or emailed to let me know he would be out. Finally, any roofer who tells me I don't need a new roof -- when I suspected I did not -- is a good contractor to know and work with. Will definitely keep Fernando in my file of "keepers." read more

I have a small rental property and live out of state. After a call from my neighbor about a hail storm, my insurance company confirmed I needed repairs. Ugh! Although I never met Mike, I presume to be the owner of Stonebridge, he went right out to the property and provided a very reasonable estimate. Of 3 quotes, he was the only one in-line with my insurance estimate. I received pictures before, during, and after the roof repair which was a huge stress relief since I was out of town. What I liked most was that Mike did not demand money upfront and was willing to wait for a check in the mail once the job was complete and I was satisfied (I realize they can put a lien on my property but still, it shows integrity). Overall I was very impressed with Stonebridge and find it unfortunate that I am not likely need them again since my new roof is solid. Good craftsmanship and great customer service! read more

Stonebridge recently tore off and replaced our 20 year old roof after the owner Mike found hail damage when another roofer didn't. Mike is friendly, thorough and patient. He was accessible for questions via text and email and responded promptly. Once the contract was signed, Mike turned the job over to an assistant (Sarah) who then supervise the work, made runs to get any needed materials, and answered our questions. She was great. I used Stonebridge Roofing to put a new roof on our house after it had sustained hail damage. I found Stonebridge on Yelp, and decided to have them come take a look at my roof after I wasn't completely comfortable with a different company I had talked to. Mike (owner) and Fernando came out to talk to me, and were great to work with from the beginning. They gave me an honest assessment of my roof, and I did not feel as though I was being sold to. For example, they indicated that the roof would need to be replaced relatively soon, but that in all likelihood I could no nothing and experience no issues for a while. They explained the process of getting a new roof from start to finish. I decided to use Stonebridge, but due to scheduling difficulties on my end, they didn't start right away. Fernando kept in touch, but was never pushy. We eventually decided on a date, and the work began as scheduled. The work was completed in the time line I was told, and while the work was going on Fernando kept me up to speed with what work was being done, what was still left to do, etc... I am very pleased with the job done by Stonebridge, as well as the professionalism of Mike and Fernando. Mike was present and came to the house multiple times, but the majority of my communication was with Fernando (no issues with that whatsoever, he was great to work with). I had a difficult time even giving this company a one-star review. My condo suffered water damage due to a leaky roof in January of this year. After MANY attempts to get them scheduled to do the repair, I received a phone call 12 hours prior to the scheduled repair with the information that "we no longer will be doing this type of work" and "the foreman called and is out of the country and will probably not be returning." Huh? I now have all the furniture from a bedroom rearranged in different places, and am being significantly inconvenienced due to poor communication and last minute follow-through. Wow. I had an insurance estimate and contractor estimate from the roofing company that replaced my roof and re-flashed the same area where a leak has occurred twice now. Both said it was my gutter peeling away from my roof. Replace the gutter. Stonebridge (Cole) came out and looked at it and said, "you know, simple answer is usually right. Let's look at your flashing of the eyebrow roof above the leak." We looked out the window and right there was a loose nail and deteriorated caulk, plus the flashing could easily be lifted up in that area. 5 minutes in all. He explained why the gutter is probably not it. I broke open the ceiling where the leak was coming through and voila, Cole was right. Easy, inexpensive repair. Great service, unbelievable honesty, kudos, thanks. Saved me a bundle. If I ever have work to be done - Stonebridge is my first and only call. read more

This company is great. We needed a couple small repairs done on a house we recently purchased. We called them and received a return call that evening. They came out the next day to look at our roof and gave us a quote. Since the job was relatively small, they were able to literally do the repairs that same day. We felt the price was very reasonable and the work was very good quality. They are professional, cleaned up after they were done (no roof nails or other work materials left in the yard or anywhere else after they were finished which is a nice change of pace).
