Was in need of some quick leaf removal before our city street sweepers came through to vacuum them up - got a phone call on Sunday from Andrew and he was super cool, set a quick day/time and came over to knock it out. We have a rather large backyard and he went all the way to the back of the fence line and started blowing them into piles - it looked amazing when he was finished! The owner emailed over the invoice with a nice message asking if my wife & I were satisfied with the finished products and everything. They started the conversation sending me their hourly pricing sheet for me to figure out what is my final project cost. Well, I said I need a bid, since this is a big job. Company responded indicating that this is not the way they function. ???? Contractor should not expect clients to sign off on the dotted line, with an open ended cost. This is not smart to do from the client side, and not being transparent from the contractor side. If the contractor does not know how long a job will take them, or how much material it will take, then this is not a good sign and crosses off the confidence level. read more

Paid for leaf removal and gutter cleaning. The crew came over without notice and stared working without letting me know. Also left without notice. I went outside and saw not a single branch or twig had been picked up and a leaf pile the size of two dumpsters mounded up, spilling into the street. I called the owner again and sent photos. He said the bin was full and it would cost extra to have them come out and dispose of the mound. Keep in mind I told him a couple times he could mulch them up or leave the bags of leaves by my garage and I'll dispose of them. He said the crew would most likely be out by the NEXT day. So I ended spending 3 hours cleaning what I could until it was well dark because my neighbors were more than a little unhappy. The crew finally comes out the next days, leaves about 3 bags worth of yard waste. I called this service hoping to save time and ended up spending even more and over 300 of dollars on this wonderful experience. read more

I used Mizzou Crew recently for some gutter cleaning. They did a wonderful job. They were quick to come out, got the job done quickly and efficiently, and the owner even emailed me a before-and-after picture of my gutters taken from my roof so that I know they were thoroughly cleaned. I've used companies in the past I know for certain left some debris in my gutters, so that was appreciated.
