Some initial communication bobbles...crew began work without prior notification and there was a language barrier, however liaison via phone was very helpful. They drove nails into my motherboard of my circuit breaker almost killing me and burning my house down. Never use them. The owner says he's all about service but I received none. They left nails all in my yard flattening two lawnmower tires. They put a lien on my house while i was waiting for the insurance money to be mailed to me. I bought custom shutters not from them and there was a $2,500 charge on my bill at the end. Completely dishonest business and when you tell them about their bad business practices, they get mad at you. After fighting with them and showing them cleared checks for evidence, they finally took it off my bill. They had no idea what was going on the whole time (10 months) it took them to complete a roof and siding. If you need high drama in your life, hire them. One of the worst, low to no service business experiences of my lifetime. Wish I could give them a negative rating. read more

*DO NOT* do business with Accredited Roofing! The quality of work they provide is some of the worst I've seen by a "professional" company, and I use the word professional loosely. They have had nine months to put a roof and siding on my home and finally just finished but only because I had to keep reminding them it wasn't done. The siding work is atrocious. Terrible cuts snd horrible seams. They constantly left the work unfinished with zero communication. Then Id reach out and they would have no clue it wasn't done, make excuses why it wasn't done, then miraculously show up the next day to once again not finish. I dealt with at least 5 different agents that did not communicate with me or each other. Nobody ever knew what was going on. They finally sent someone to finish the siding work and light/electrical boxes. He had no clue what he was doing. The siding was done wrong and boxes look like they were done by a 10 year old. Terrible cuts, mounts are all loose, and now siding is bulging around the boxes. They are worse than they were before. The owner constantly tries to gaslight and tell you how good their work is when you tell him it is bad. This is just some of the many issues and property damage they provided me. Stay away from this company! And because of this is an insurance claim I have to pay them in full for the terrible work. read more

Steve and Michelle gave my house a good look the shingles were coming off my dormer the house was built in 1862. The wood in the front got damaged from straight lined winds knocking tree limbs down taking off chucks of wood. Their worker had to battle wasos and hornets yet my job looks so great and st siding inplace of the shingles means no more repair. The front looks like it did in 1862 never needing painting. First I would like to say how impressed I am with Steve Bovinett and his assistant Michelle. They both went out of their way to make getting a damaged roof repaired seem simple. Michelle handled the paperwork and Steve kept me abreast of what was happening. When the work began, just a week after the insurance company approved it, the crew showed up ready to work. UPDATE: 4/28/18 - My complaint to the BBB and Attorney General that Accredited Roofing billed me for work that was not completed has been resolved to my satisfaction. Original Review November 2017 I contracted with Accredited Roofing in August 2017. When their sub contractor delivered the materials to my roof damage was done to the framing of my roof structure. Accredited went ahead and replaced the roof and pushed me off on their sub contractor. It is now mid November and I am still trying to get my roof (which will/could collapse) repaired. In the process of getting other contractors to look at this situation (which is going to cost approximately $40K to fix) it was discovered that the roof venting was not installed properly. Although they have offered to fix it, the entire roof has to be torn down and re-done to correct the damage done to my home. Accredited has been unhelpful, unprofessional and unwilling to help me in resolving this matter. read more

We had our roof replaced by another roofer 2 years ago. Last year we had a home inspection and they failed the roof on several points. We called the original contractor and his sub-contractors apparently were nowhere to be found. So he sent another roofer out that said basically the entire roof needed to be redone. For several months we went back and forth with the new roofer as he missed appointments and would not return calls. Then one day we just got an email saying he was out and would not fix our roof. He had run out of patience with our contractor trying to agree on payments to get the job done. Then Steve from Accredited Roofing took over. He was very patient and worked with our contractor to get payment. He explained every step in detail and took lots of before and after pictures. Its a night and day difference in quality. I would definitely recommend Accredited Roofing for both the quality of their work and their professionalism. Any roofer that does not get upset when I text them at 10PM at night forgetting what time it actually is, and they respond can't be beat. read more

After a home inspection we were looking for a repair service for our chimney. We knew the chimney was in need of repair but didn't know of the extent of it until Steve did a video while on the roof. His video with audio was very nice to see and proved we really did need replacement. Steve really came through for us and I will not hesitate to call on him again. Last summer they installed a new roof and siding on my moms house and she was more than pleased the clean up was great and her home looks outstanding. Needless to say I scored a lot of points with that move. I also had a flat roof installed late last year in North St. Louis they did a great job no more leaks and the roof looks great. OUTSTANDING company. I was in desperate need of new gutters. They were constantly clogging and starting to fall off of my house. I contacted this company because of the favorable reviews. Boy, am I glad I did. I was ready to buy a more expensive screening system for my gutters (again, desperate to fix the issue!), but Steve explained to me that for my house and my needs, a less expensive option would work just as well. He explained everything in detail to me and didn't try to push any products. He could have easily sold me the more expensive option, but he CHOSE to operate with a level of honesty and integrity that is hard to find in any company. The new gutters and screen system were installed with precision and done in an extremely timely manner. The total was also EXTREMELY reasonable. Who would have thought that you could find a company that is affordable, efficient, AND extremely honest?!? I have a home in Collinsville that needed roofing repairs. Everyone else I spoke with immediately suggested a new roof, at a huge price. Steve was very professional, came on a Sunday since that was more convenient for me and went on the roof with a video camera to show me exactly where it needed repairs, not total replacement.
