Materials were left in my front yard, I had to call the rep. to have them picked up about a week after the job was completed. He called 2 days in advance and said that he might be able to come out even earlier than the appointment. Score! The day I was scheduled for was rainy. I almost thought they might cancel due to the weather conditions, but nope! My guy called and came out earlier than scheduled (which worked well for me). It was rainy, but without any doubt he pulled out his ladder and got to work. He diagnosed, corrected and filled me in on the problem in less than 10 minutes. He was also just so up-right and friendly!! It was like he were a worker from an idealized 1950s. And even though it was raining and he had other appointments to get to, he offered to give me an estimate on installing gutter guards. He measured every gutter around my house and garage and then got my email so he could send me the formal estimate. It came later that day. Such impressive service! Said the siding needed to be removed, but they were unable to remove it. I was concerned I would not be able to find someone to take on such a small job. Called Allen first and they said they could help, and would send someone.Tom came out and removed the required siding, and said to let him know when the plumbers were finished with the repair. When the plumbers were done, we called to have the siding replaced. Kyle came out and had the siding back up in no time. He told me there was no charge for the job. The project was not…read morecompleted until January 2026, and the process involved repeated delays, missed appointments, and significant communication issues. Throughout the project, there were multiple occasions when I was told crews would arrive and they did not, resulting in lost time, schedule disruptions, and frustration. There were also repeated delays due to various issues, including vehicle problems and product-related issues. The project had several ordering and communication problems. The first product delivered was the wrong color, and the company acknowledged that error. The replacement product appeared different from what had been represented in emails from their representative. I had not received an actual color sample, and after the delays already experienced, I accepted the color to avoid further delays. However, additional delays continued due to issues with the skylight, including miscommunication regarding the order and a damaged product being received. Communication throughout the project was one of my biggest concerns. I was often not kept updated on progress or changes. There were multiple occasions when crews arrived without advance notice, despite being specifically instructed that I needed to be notified by phone or text before anyone came to my property. Additionally, I was unable to communicate directly with the onsite crew and had to rely on third parties to relay questions, instructions, and information, which added another challenge to an already difficult process. During one unannounced visit, the crew left my gate open while they were still on my property, and my dogs got loose. Thankfully, no one was injured, but I sustained a foot injury while trying to retrieve them. I notified the company and provided updates while seeking medical care, including a specialist visit. Despite being informed of the incident and my ongoing medical care, I never received acknowledgment of what happened, an apology, or any follow-up from the company. I am still dealing with residual issues from this injury. While the roof has now been installed, the overall experience was far more stressful than it should have been. My recommendation to anyone considering using John Beal Roofing is to make sure all scheduling expectations, communication requirements, and project details are clearly documented upfront and followed throughout the process.

The insurance company sent money to us in which we gave to Mr We Don't show up, and here we are 3 weeks later still waiting. Red flag started when one of the contractors showed up with his team and I just so happened to have pulled up at the same time, unaware that they were coming and the guy said he had been trying to call Mr Can't be reached all morning and couldn't reach him and my husband started trying to reach him and couldn't. The guy informed us that this is what he does all the time. After that it's just been downhill. We have been very patient, but at this point we have to take the next steps.
