Cute new coffee shop alert!! Very, very cozy vibe inside of this new local coffee shop. Came here on a Friday morning and most of the seats were full! Got a cold brew and a pumpkin spice latte. These were both fantastic! So much so that we bought a bag of their coffee beans to take home. We got a Nutella scone which wasn't super great, which is the only reason for 4 stars, though I think they source their pastries from elsewhere. The cutest little new coffee shop tucked away in Norwood. The aesthetic inside is incredible, with rich dark accents and greenery hanging from the ceiling. There's also a 2nd floor patio and special kid's area with chalkboards. They offer coffee and tea, but also fresh made pastries, bread, bagels, and cakes. They even have gelato! It's a perfect place to stay awhile, especially with the free wifi for those who need to get some work done. read more

Such a bad experience that I had to write this review while sitting in here. Visiting the area from Chicago and saw a cute little coffee shop not too far from my hotel and decided to try it. I noticed on their menu they had chocolate chip scones so that was a plus for me to run over and try. I Uber over and it's a cute little location I walk in and stand in line. I get to the front of the line and the young girl didn't greet me. So I paused to see if she would say hello but didn't. I ended up speaking and told her I wanted a vanilla latte, I asked about the chocolate chip scones and she said they didn't have any but did recommend a chocolate chip muffin (gave add'l star for recommending something else). I ordered just the coffee and waited for my order to be ready. Called my name and once again, no "thank you" no "have a nice day" just passed me my drink. I ended up saying Thank you and NO you're welcome was said back to me. I didn't feel welcome here and the service here is piss poor. Sadly, I'll never come back. This type of customer service will NEVER fly in a big city. Do better BIRDIE Latte was decent but I've had better. read more

I've tried all the local coffee shops in Cincinnati and Birdies is the best quality and the most consistently good. I LOVE the Harvest Moon shaken espresso, maple syrup, oatmilk and a sprinkle of sea salt... it's absolute perfection. so simple and so good! this was a summer special and they are kind enough to always make it for me when I ask. I love the staff here. they take the time to know you and they are all great. Birdies is a comfort. So glad to have discovered them. read more

I absolutely loved the whole vibe of this place. I was able to walk in, place my order, find a spot to plop, and then have my order called in a little less than 5 minutes. I had the maple latte and French toast bagel...yum! The space was filled with others co-working and it was a perfect place to do so. I heard there's a second floor and rooftop but I didn't venture up that way. But I definitely will be back to try some other menu items and enjoy the rooftop once it gets warmer. read more

This is the cutest cafe I've been to and the staff are so nice. I ordered a parfait and croissant and both were delicious. The ambiance was so calm and relaxing I just worked away and enjoyed the coffee. Birdies is a fun coffee shop with a good atmosphere. However, I was very dissapointed by my drink and service today. I ordered a strawberry vanilla cold brew. When I recieved it it tasted like strawberry and water in a cup of ice. I was not upset intially and just asked for a cup of plain cold brew to add to the drink and explained the situation. The person I asked got me the cup of cold brew, however, the worker next to her said "if you order strawberry vanilla it's not going to taste like coffee". This really bothered me as I ordered a cold brew which in my opinion should always taste like coffee, but regardless shouldn't taste like water. Her tone was just unacceptable. Family friendly where families came in with kids to have hot cocoa and tea, some obvious people on first or awkward dates, and individuals typing away at working remotely. Stopped by for the first time today and I'll certainly be back. The shop itself is quite spacious and seems like a great place to chill with some coffee while getting some work done. It was a wee bit loud during my visit but the place was also packed so that's to be expected. I grabbed a few drinks to share with my wife and all of them were delicious. We tried a couple different iced coffees and one of their lotus energy drinks. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. One of my drinks was ready before I was done ordering so I'd say the service is pretty quick! read more

The beautiful tile floor, greenery ceiling, framed art, and tin kitchen ceiling create a warm, inviting atmosphere. I was pleased to see that food items such as salad or sandwich and ice cream are available in addition to coffee shop fare. Staff were industrious and speedy- making my in and out possible. Bar stools were available for waiting as a separate area from the patrons thick in study or conversation around tables. The london fog tea latte and blueberry scone were a delightful treat- especially the scone because of the glazed taste (like a doughnut)! Street and lot parking made the shop easily approachable. I did give this coffee shop. Another shot this morning after paying 8.50 for a lavender extra sweet cold latte with light ice. I got a subpar lavender latte not extra extra sweet like I paid for and Filled up with ice. I would say don't try this place. Skip this one you'd be better off going to Starbucks. I am like the other reviewer is the only place in Norwood and maybe somebody should open up another coffee shop skip this one and I didn't feel like the people were friendly either. read more
