Nice spot to stop for lunch! And especially after 3 hours of kayaking at Lake Powell. The line a bit a long, but it gives you time to decide what you want and what sauce to pair it with! It was still during covid, so it was outdoor seating only. Simple menu, but plenty of options. I got something that wasn't on the menu - Eddie's special sandwich, which has pickles and special sauce with spicy chicken. Wow, it was soooo tender and juicy! Great flavor with every bite! What a total find here! We were doing a road trip to see Horseshoe Bend and this came up as a highly rated lunch spot. And it did not disappoint! Chicken was flavorful, fresh, juicy, and really yummy. I got tenders and a friend got the chicken sandwich which was huge. The sauces were fantastic! Make sure to try all of them, even the ranch since its home made. The place had indoor and outdoor seating which was very clean and well maintained. Came for lunch after our Lower Antelope Canyon tour. Was pretty quiet at 3pm, just one other group eating there. We tried the fried chicken (spicy and honey butter) & wings along with the mac n cheese, fries, and broccoli salad. Everything was piping hot. Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Maybe would opt for the pickles over the broccoli slaw next time because the acidity might balance the fried/heavy other choices. I ate here twice in 24 hours. The chicken sandwich is amazing, and getting it "Eddie" style helped cut some of the heat from the rub. Fries were seasoned perfectly and nicely cooked. AND everyone inside wore a mask. We were honestly shocked at how well everyone adhered to mask rules abs felt super comfortable eating outside. 10/10 please go here. It is amazing. read more

Came here for dinner while we were in town for Antelope Canyon tour and was recommended by a friend who was recently here. We decided to try the whole chicken in their original recipe. It was pretty good, but the batter was not quite what we expected. It was not a thick batter which is great because I hate biting into all flour. The chicken tasted very fresh and juicy. I didn't care for the cole slaw or the fries. The seasoned fries were overly seasoned and very salty. I wish I had gotten a piece of the honey fried chicken, as well as the spicy one to try! read more

I was very pleasantly surprised here! This place has excellent fried chicken.. don't let the exterior fool you. I came right at opening, 1130 am, on a Friday. There was no line and I placed my order at the counter without a problem. About 10-15 minutes later, my food arrived to my table, hot and fresh. I ordered the "best" chicken sandwich, which was in fact one of the best. Something about the batter on the chicken.. it was sweet and salty, kind of crumbly, and just perfect between a brioche bun. You can choose your batter on the chicken: original, spicy, or honey butter. I had the original and my boyfriend had the honey butter.. his was only slightly sweeter. The chicken is so juicy, it easily tears apart and melts in your mouthThe sandwich has excellent flavors, seasoning, and texture. It doesn't need any condiments, or lettuce, or pickles. It just comes with the birdhouse sauce which resembled some sort of chipotle mayo. The sandwich itself is $8 but for an additional $3 you can get 1 side and a drink (everything is in cans). It's a bit cold inside in the winter, the building isn't too insulated, but there is a heater.. so bundle up. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone in the area! read more

We stopped here for late lunch after seeing Horseshoe Bend since it looked promising based on reviews and we totally loved it. It's the kind of place that is hip, simple, and you are also warmly welcomed when you walk in. Everything on the menu looked great and we ordered some honey wings, chicken breast, and dessert. A few minutes later we were enjoying the food, and I mean - truly enjoying it. It was made to perfection and tasted great. You couldn't wish for more after a long day. Came here on Sunday afternoon because it got good reviews on Yelp. AMAZING CHICKEN! The meat is tender and really juicy. And the skin is nice and crispy. They have nailed it. I got the honey butter flavor and I'm glad I did. I dipped it in hot sauce and it is perfect. Got the fries and broccoli salad too. Yum! They also have a decent selection of beer and wine. The food here is DELICIOUS! We were drawn in by the positive reviews, and it sure didn't disappoint! We got the mixed piece family meal and a chicken sandwich to share between four people. .... Yo. This chicken is the juiciest fried chicken I've had in my life. Even my parents could not stop raving about how even the typically dry breast piece (at other places), was moist and just as enjoyable to eat as any other piece! My mom was about to order some to bring home for my brother to try, but it was a full day trip back to California and probably wouldn't last even a couple hours into our journey back ;) We got half hot and half honey butter for the family meal, but the mixed "secret" flavor of hot AND honey butter for the chicken sandwich was a really great recommendation by the cashier/server. Honey butter itself is a unique delicious flavor, but the kick when mixed with the hot dry rub seasoning just seals the deal. Service was great and really friendly! Birdhouse hooked me up with one of the tastiest chicken sandwiches I've had in a while. "THE Best" chicken sandwich truly lived up to its name. The spicy chicken sandwich was loaded with two perfectly seasoned, battered, juicy, and fried chicken tenders, fresh and zesty housemade pickles, and deliciously sweet whole grain mustard/honey sauce (I think), sandwiched between a fresh and soft brioche bun. We got the drumstick and wing as well as the chicken sandwich and both were fantastic. The food was hot and came out quick from the kitchen. An absolute gem of a small town chicken spot. The service is friendly and quick here, and they have amazing fried chicken! I ordered the chicken sandwich, and there are 3 options: regular, spicy, and honey butter... but when I asked which one they recommended, I ended up going with "Eddie's Special" which is spicy and honey butter mixed... Located in what looks to be an old sonic. Patio is super nice with misters. BOMB fried chicken. Tender and juicy- hard to nail both instead of one or the other. Saw a lot of reviews dogging the mac and cheese but felt compelled to give my own opinion. Should have listened to the reviews. It wasn't terrible at all, but better exists. Doesn't look like much when you walk by, but the chicken is done right! This is one of the best fried chicken places my family and I have eaten! I have 5 kids, 4 are boys from 7-11 and I heard zero complaints. You have three options for flavor; original, spicy and honey butter I believe. We got original and spicy. Both were delicious. We are from Texas and really like spicy. This said it was extra spicy; it's definitely not extra spicy, but it has great flavor. The house made pickles are really good, the seasoned fries are great, so are the mashed potatoes. The mac and cheese is different, reminds me a bit of beer cheese, but it was definitely enjoyable. I would absolutely eat here again anytime I come to Page. My husband feels the exact same way. I should have taken pictures before we started eating, but we were hungry. Dont sleep on Birdhouse chicken! Better than Hattie B's (Nashville and ATL), General Muir, Publix AND Popeyes! Three flavors. - Regular flavor - a lot like kfc original - Honey butter - sweet and buttery juicy goodness - extra spicy - like burn your face off but in a good way spicy. My top pick They also offer Sriracha and Crystal sauces. I found the siracha and a pack of honey on the original recipe was a gem. The sides. Damn. broccoli that a Bush would eat and krinkle cut fries were killer. I needed about 3 more beers to get thru the spice but hey I would drive back to lake Powell for this chicken. read more

After reading the reviews, I knew we had to stop here for lunch on our way out of Page. We arrived just as they opened, and the food was delivered to our car after ordering with the friendly staff inside. My boyfriend and I were both so happy we made a stop here! Established in 2017.

BirdHouse is a concept that was created by a group of friends that wanted to build something special and DELICIOUS. Our love for fried chicken grow beyond the attendance of restaurants, into cultivating our own. On a random trip to Page, for all the beautiful things it had to offer, we thought it was a great place for us to have our love affair. Not only did Page, AZ not have a fried chicken place, but it was a place where it desired it. We are so happy to be here and to provide a great environment for some good old fashion fried chicken, with a twist of course. We hope you enjoy not just the food, but take in all that Page, AZ has to offer, with our out door seating.

I ordered a small pizza and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was -- great crust, flavorful sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. The service was friendly, and the inside is quaint and clean, giving it that cozy, small-town Italian feel. Despite the late start, the food and atmosphere definitely made up for it. We'd go back -- maybe just a few minutes later next time! Would have given 4 stars if they had opened on time - and not 20-25 minutes late.

I got wings, kids got pizza, my husband got a burger. The place was soo very busy but everyone was kind, helpful, professional and eager to attend to all. Page is in the middle of many attractions, so all tourists were there. The establishment did a phenomenal job catering to all. Thank you for everything.

Our family loves to try local cuisine as we come from a foodie town. We decided on this place as we come from the south and know our fried chicken. This was the BEST fried chicken we have ever tried. We got the tenders in spicy, original and honey butter. The spicy was not spicy at all but still very flavorful and perfect crunch on juicy (not greasy) tenders. The birdhouse sauce was out of this world!!! My kids gobbled it up! Their rice was pretty good. Cooked well but could stand a bit more pizzazz. I loved their coleslaw, more of a vinager bite coleslaw. The ambiance was awesome with outdoor causal seating and staff was super nice. Small menu options but excellent at what they do!
