Big fresh shrimp, tasty crawfish, maipo tofu, mushrooms etc.

For $22 all you can eat, way better than I expected. The crawfish, shrimp, and maipo tofu are my favorite.

The food for all you can eat buffet are so so. All taste a little blend and pricy too. I ate 2 people for dinner and got charge for $48.80. Not so many selection for desert/ fruit. I feel really bad for my self.

    Buffet.

Never thought I'd see the return of buffets in these crazy times, but I guess when in a tourist town in otherwise rural Arizona...?? The food is typical cheap Chinese buffet food, so stick to standbys like hot and sour soup and you'll be just fine. I personally was trying to find a meal with some semi-healthy veggies so the beef and broccoli, kung pao chicken (mmm bell peppers and celery), and the usual mixed veggies more than served their purpose. And it's definitely affordable. Plus I can say I helped avoid scurvy!

The (small) options they do have is "Chinese American" food

Mandarin Gourmet is a very typical Chinese buffet, but on a smaller scale. We came here with a tour group after going to the Antelope Canyon. The selection is very small and the taste was ok. Pros: - Close to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon Cons: - Not as many options as your typical Chinese buffet - Kinda pricey ~ $15 for a small buffet - Slow refill on food Overall: - Unless you're a part of one of the tour groups that come through this restaurant, you might as well just eat at one of the fast food restaurants across the parking lot

Broccoli beef, sea food salad, fried chicken

Worst food i ever had, not fresh. Seems like not fresh food. Not a lot of options. Not recommended for anyone.

Very limited selections for the price they're charging. And the food is bland and not fresh.

Three star reviews: I understand the 3 star reviews some folks have provided. Compared to big city locations it might be below some expectations. But, the food was very good compared to other restaurants in the area we went to. My review: I give it a five star because the food was tasty, the view was great and it was laid back. I'm pretty critical and straight forward in my reviews and I gave "sunset 89" - 5 stars. Was it the best place I've eaten and experienced -no. But for the area and our vacation - it was the best place we ate at. Normally: If this was a place in my hometown I'd probably give it a 3 star. Cost: The cost was a little high. But everything was a bit high in this vacation spot. We split the short rib bowl between two. If you are real hungry then it should easily fill you up but you should not share then.

Our server was very friendly and helpful, but halfway through dinner all our drinks were dry. Food was delivered and then we were quietly left to enjoy with no check back. The end of dinner it took another 20 minutes to get the check and a box. We started with the Fried Brussel Sprouts, which were Incredible! I was going to get the Loaded Fries for my entree, but they were sold out of the short ribs. For my entree I got the fish and tots ( the entree is originally fries, but i switched ) My friend got the BBQ pork belly Bowl. The Yakisoba noodles were a bit chewy, the Steamed Rice was perfect. I was going to get the Churro Sundae, but the evening got too late.

Our hotel was just a short walk away, so this spot was super convenient for dinner. We opted for takeout since we had our dog (although they have outside seating). We ordered their 'Bonita Salad' with steak and a 'Chimichanga' with ground beef. The salad was tender, though slightly under-seasoned steak. The Chimichanga tasted great but it was packed on a large catering platter rather than a standard to-go container, which made the beans a bit messy by the time I got it back to the hotel. They also included a bag of chips and salsa with our takeout which was a nice and delicious surprise. Prices at checkout were higher than those listed on their online menu. The restaurant was clean and organized. Staff was helpful and service was on time. Overall, it was a solid experience here.

Go for the chips and salsa, the same great taste as the location on Carefree Highway in Phoenix The bad, I ordered the Mexican stirfry as I do in Phx location always excellent. At this location the veggies were dried out, very little chicken and the little bit of cheese was also dried out, I never return a meal but this time I did, got the Carnitas, it was just ok and extremely over salted My hubby ordered the Pollo Asada Burrito, the kicker there was more broccoli and green beans than chicken . Never heard of this. Extremely disappointing. Will stick to the Phoenix location that is excellent.

With limited options and no fast-food chains in sight--just charming old-town shops--we stumbled upon Fusion House, a true hole-in-the-wall joint. We were greeted promptly by staff--who, despite the worn-out cushions on the seats (they've seen better days), managed to serve up a warm welcome. Ordering was a breeze, though the food took a little longer than expected--probably busy perfecting those huge, mouthwatering portions. When the plates finally arrived, we were blown away. The servings were so generous they could feed a small army--or at least guarantee leftovers for breakfast tomorrow! We went for the combo meals, which came with rice, noodles, an entrée, and a drink--at a price that didn't make our wallets cry. The food? Absolutely delicious. The star of the show was, unfortunately, the lone staff member (whose name we didn't catch), juggling orders, tables, and food delivery like a one-man band, all with a smile and a polite nod. All in all, a fantastic, satisfying stop--proof that sometimes, the best meals come from the most unassuming places. We rolled out of Fusion House stuffed, happy, and maybe a little grateful for the extra breakfast leftovers. Would definitely do it again--next time, with a camera, maybe.
