Genuinely not sure if the name of this restaurant is Bing Duong II or Pho Time Bistro but either way it's delicious. There was a period where the owners changed and I was nervous but this place is truly a gem. It's authentic, the staff is kind, and the food is made with care. The bun bo hue is fireeeeeee, pho is fireeeee, salted shrimp fireeee, everything is just so good!

Was in the area going to the beauty supply store in the plaza. Saw the Vietnamese spot and was like, oh yea... I'll sit and grab some dinner real quick--this was perfect because it was BRICK outside. Lawd! Went inside and was immediately seated and got to choose where I wanted to sit. It appeared clean inside. I ordered my go-to: summer rolls. It's a no for me. Tasted like they were premade and taken out of the freezer. For my entree, I got chicken pho with beef broth. The meal definitely made up for the appetizer! I liked that the chicken was shredded, and the broth was very good!

Love this place! Always order from them on doordash and they always remain consistent. Great portions and the food is always made with love! We've also ate at the place and the service is lovely. Very attentive and very fast. Keep up the good work guys!

So delicious & tasted so fresh. My family and I felt so good after eating. The servers were kind and quick with the service! Very attentive. Sitting inside was nice and quiet. Just overall a great place to eat at. I can't wait to come back!

Ordered summer rolls & shrimp pho. Summer rolls were 98% shredded lettuce : 1% noodles : 1% shrimp. There is no mint, no bean sprouts (which they have listed in ingredients). They come with a runny grainy peanut sauce. yuck. Shrimp pho: its had broccoli & cabbage; which are NOT LISTED in the ingredients on their menu. the shrimp was NASTY! this was the worst pho I've ever had. I'm not from the area so i wish i could recommend a better one.

This wasn't my first time eating here so I knew the food was good. This was first time trying the pho and the house combo pho was good. From the broth, to the meat, to the vegetables. Definitely recommend using their sauces to bring out the flavor more. The steak was so good, I need to order that the next time for sure. I also had some spring rolls that were amazing. Service was nice and quick, our food came out pretty fast. Ambiance is very casual.

Stumbled upon this place while in Union NJ. This is hands down one of the best Bun Bo Hue's that I've had - we also had it as takeout and ate it in the car. I'm always looking to find a Vietnamese place that has Bun Bo Hue because not many do and some of the ones that I find aren't really good as they just add spices into a water broth. The flavor of this broth was so rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spices + you can taste the lemongrass that they use.

A group of 11 of us came here for lunch on a Sunday. It was pretty empty so they were able to seat us right away. Inferior was very old school. I ordered the summer rolls ($5.95) as an appetizer and Small Pho with Sliced Raw Beef ($8.50) for the main dish. Most of us ordered pho and the others ordered items from the lunch menu, which ends at 3pm. The food came out pretty fast. Summer rolls: 3.5/5: Just average. I've tasted a lot better. Pho: 2/5: First off, the pho broth had an odd taste to it. We had to put hoisin sauce to add in flavor to the broth. The noodles were the worst part. The texture was hard, as if they just took the noodles out from the freezer and reheated it. It didn't taste fresh at all. Service was pretty good but the food was extremely disappointing. We will be trying other places if we come back in the area.

Worst I've ever had. Spring roll says "fresh roll with shrimp, pork, vermicelli, bean sprouts, mint and shredded lettuce". BS. The only ingredients these had were noodles, old lettuce and thin sliced shrimp, which I had to add to the Shrimp Pad Thai which had exactly four. The Pad Thai was completely awful. Even the peanut sauce from the spring rolls couldn't revive it. Can't understand how this place gets such high ratings for such garbage

The signature pho tasted very classic and comforting, and the beef was fresh and well prepared. Also tried the dry noodles with fried spring rolls and grilled meat, which were very flavorful and filling. Portions are large, prices are reasonable, and the food feels authentic. Pho-king delicious…read more It was one of the coldest days of the year and we were craving a comforting bowl of pho (rice noodle soup) to warm ourselves up. We visited Vietnam Pho in Woodland Park, located on Rt 46. It's in a business complex so there's plenty of parking. It's a casual, cozy, and family-owned restaurant with a spacious seating area. The staff is welcoming and attentive. The menu offers all of the Vietnamese classics you're craving - steaming bowls of pho, vermicelli noodles topped with fresh vegetables, crispy banh mi sandwiches, stir-fries, and a variety of grilled meats like lemongrass pork and chicken. And if you're a boba lover, they even have bubble tea. Prices are reasonable, but here's a big tip: You get a 10% discount when you pay with cash. There's an ATM inside. There were a few hits and misses with our order, but overall we left feeling satisfied with our meal. The misses: *Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Condensed Milk ($5.95) - This was much sweeter and thicker than I expected! It tasted more like a dessert drink than an iced coffee. The condensed milk's sweetness overpowered the coffee flavor. I have a big sweet tooth, so I still enjoyed it. But if you're sensitive to sugar, you might want to skip this or ask for less milk. *Fresh Shrimp/Summer Rolls with poached shrimp, vermicelli, & peanut sauce ($7.95) - Not a fan. The rolls were bland and mostly just filled with vermicelli noodles. The peanut sauce was a let down. The flavors were off and it had a watery consistency. It barely tasted like peanuts. I don't know if they used too much vinegar or sugar, but either way... the ingredients were completely unbalanced. Now for the hits... We came for the STAR DISH: PHO! Every order comes with rice noodles, beef broth, white onions, scallions, and cilantro with a side of bean sprouts, lime, basil, and jalapeno peppers. We ordered: *Pork Chop Pho ($16.95) - I absolutely loved the lemongrass marinade (made with lemongrass, fish sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, & shallots)! The meat was juicy, sweet, and savory. I could tell the chef grilled it perfectly because of the smoky charred edges. *Rare Beef & Well Done Brisket Pho ($14.95 size small) - They did not skimp out on the protein here! The beef cuts were large, tender, and flavorful! The broth was the heart of the pho - aromatic, warm, and rich! The spices (cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, and coriander) made it taste even better. I always enjoy adding hot chili and hoisin sauce for that extra heat and sweetness. The noodles were silky smooth and soaked up all that beefy broth. Yum, yum! And you can't forget about loading up on the garnishes to add a satisfying crunch and more flavor in every slurp! Pho was the perfect comfort food on the coldest day of the year~

It's around $13 per banh mi which is a little higher than some places, but the quality and portion make it worth it 100%. I got the S1 and S8. The S1 was really good and something I would definitely order again. It's my husband's favorite. The S8 was the chicken and it came out warm with steam! A lot of other places make it but it's still cold. I also liked how fresh the ingredients taste. Service takes about 15 to 20 minutes for the order to come out just as a heads up. One Only small critique is the bread. While I like a crispy baguette, this one is a bit too crunchy and can cut the roof of your mouth a little. So don't gobble it down fast like I did. If they made it just slightly less aggressive it would be perfect. Overall I would definitely go back for more.

Parking can be a bit tricky given its location near a major road, but there is metered parking right out front. One thing I really appreciated was the thoughtful packaging. Instead of wrapping everything in paper/foil (which traps steam and softens the bread), they use takeaway containers that keep the banh mi bread crispy and intact. The portions are generous! I don't think I've ever had a bahn mi with so much protein! I personally asked for extra cilantro on some of the sandwiches which is why the cilantro looks so obnoxious in the pictures. Everything was solid and satisfying! The lemongrass chicken bahn mi stood out with its aromatic flavor. The Saigon special bahn mi though, could've used a bit more presence from the mayo and pate to enhance the flavors. Sounds weird, but surprisingly, the sardines in tomato sauce bahn mi was better than it sounds. It was savory and definitely worth trying if you're feeling adventurous. The summer rolls were fresh, clean, and a great complement to the sandwiches. My only note: I wish the pickled carrots and radish had a bit more tang. They leaned mild rather than punchy. Overall, a reliable spot with thoughtful touches and flavorful options. I'd come back again.
