Genuinely not sure if the name of this restaurant is Bing Duong II or Pho Time Bistro but either way it's delicious. There was a period where the owners changed and I was nervous but this place is truly a gem. It's authentic, the staff is kind, and the food is made with care. The bun bo hue is fireeeeeee, pho is fireeeee, salted shrimp fireeee, everything is just so good!

Was in the area going to the beauty supply store in the plaza. Saw the Vietnamese spot and was like, oh yea... I'll sit and grab some dinner real quick--this was perfect because it was BRICK outside. Lawd! Went inside and was immediately seated and got to choose where I wanted to sit. It appeared clean inside. I ordered my go-to: summer rolls. It's a no for me. Tasted like they were premade and taken out of the freezer. For my entree, I got chicken pho with beef broth. The meal definitely made up for the appetizer! I liked that the chicken was shredded, and the broth was very good!

Love this place! Always order from them on doordash and they always remain consistent. Great portions and the food is always made with love! We've also ate at the place and the service is lovely. Very attentive and very fast. Keep up the good work guys!

This wasn't my first time eating here so I knew the food was good. This was first time trying the pho and the house combo pho was good. From the broth, to the meat, to the vegetables. Definitely recommend using their sauces to bring out the flavor more. The steak was so good, I need to order that the next time for sure. I also had some spring rolls that were amazing. Service was nice and quick, our food came out pretty fast. Ambiance is very casual.

So delicious & tasted so fresh. My family and I felt so good after eating. The servers were kind and quick with the service! Very attentive. Sitting inside was nice and quiet. Just overall a great place to eat at. I can't wait to come back!

Ordered summer rolls & shrimp pho. Summer rolls were 98% shredded lettuce : 1% noodles : 1% shrimp. There is no mint, no bean sprouts (which they have listed in ingredients). They come with a runny grainy peanut sauce. yuck. Shrimp pho: its had broccoli & cabbage; which are NOT LISTED in the ingredients on their menu. the shrimp was NASTY! this was the worst pho I've ever had. I'm not from the area so i wish i could recommend a better one.

Stumbled upon this place while in Union NJ. This is hands down one of the best Bun Bo Hue's that I've had - we also had it as takeout and ate it in the car. I'm always looking to find a Vietnamese place that has Bun Bo Hue because not many do and some of the ones that I find aren't really good as they just add spices into a water broth. The flavor of this broth was so rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spices + you can taste the lemongrass that they use.

A group of 11 of us came here for lunch on a Sunday. It was pretty empty so they were able to seat us right away. Inferior was very old school. I ordered the summer rolls ($5.95) as an appetizer and Small Pho with Sliced Raw Beef ($8.50) for the main dish. Most of us ordered pho and the others ordered items from the lunch menu, which ends at 3pm. The food came out pretty fast. Summer rolls: 3.5/5: Just average. I've tasted a lot better. Pho: 2/5: First off, the pho broth had an odd taste to it. We had to put hoisin sauce to add in flavor to the broth. The noodles were the worst part. The texture was hard, as if they just took the noodles out from the freezer and reheated it. It didn't taste fresh at all. Service was pretty good but the food was extremely disappointing. We will be trying other places if we come back in the area.

Worst I've ever had. Spring roll says "fresh roll with shrimp, pork, vermicelli, bean sprouts, mint and shredded lettuce". BS. The only ingredients these had were noodles, old lettuce and thin sliced shrimp, which I had to add to the Shrimp Pad Thai which had exactly four. The Pad Thai was completely awful. Even the peanut sauce from the spring rolls couldn't revive it. Can't understand how this place gets such high ratings for such garbage

Was very easy to order and picked up. Highly recommend because there's not much authentic Asian cuisine in the area serving people who work in the airport.

I ordered my standard pad Thai with shrimp and friend got the garlic beef with veggies and brown rice. Both were delicious, although not spicy... we had requested a 2 and a 3 out of four. Would rather have it less spicy than overheated, but definitely added more chilis ourselves. Reasonably priced especially for the portions! Would definitely recommend and return!

Normally, I'm not a big fan of steamed dumplings, so I was a little disappointed at first. However, the flavor was excellent and definitely exceeded my expectations, so I can't complain too much about the mix-up. The real star of the meal was the Yellow Curry Crispy Duck. Absolutely amazing! The duck was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the curry had incredible flavor. I ordered it with spice level 1, which was just right for me and allowed all of the flavors to shine through. My only real complaint is the portioning of the rice. While the half crispy duck portion was quite generous, the amount of rice provided didn't seem to match the amount of meat. For the price I paid, I feel like the rice portion should automatically be adjusted to complement the entrée. Having to request extra rice just doesn't make much sense when there's plenty of duck left over. I'm usually not picky about things like this, but considering the cost of the meal, I expected a little better balance. Other than that, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is a small hole-in-the-wall spot with a cozy, authentic feel. It's the kind of place that locals seem to know and enjoy. I actually discovered it while heading to a Mexican restaurant with some coworkers and decided to give it a try because I'm a big fan of Thai food. Overall, I'm glad I did. The food quality was excellent, the flavors felt authentic, and the crispy duck alone is worth coming back for. Despite a couple of minor issues, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. If you enjoy authentic Thai cuisine, you'll likely leave satisfied. Authentic taste and quality ingredients--everyone should give it a try!

What Thai food dreams are made of…read more I first got hooked on Thai food about 20 years ago--grabbing takeout from random food carts and a tiny Midtown spot called Rain. One bite in, I was done for. Since then, it's basically a rule: if I see a Thai restaurant, I'm stopping. Over time I've graduated beyond pad Thai (growth), and I'm always on the hunt for the next standout dish. This past weekend, I found a hidden gem. And I mean hidden. Don't let the exterior fool you--it looks like the new owners took over a long-retired diner that last saw its glory days sometime around the Reagan administration. Inside doesn't do much to change your expectations either... very "vintage 80s diner chic," and not in the trendy way. Then you're greeted by a kid who looks like he's juggling high school algebra homework while simultaneously bussing tables, taking orders, running food, pouring drinks, and working the register. Absolute Swiss Army knife. Honestly, I've been to fully staffed restaurants that don't run half as efficiently. Now the food--this is where things get serious. I usually start with papaya salad, but I saw they offered soft shell crab for an extra $3 and thought, "say less." The crabs came out perfectly fried--crispy, not greasy--two generous pieces sitting on top of a bright mango salad with a light vinaigrette. Ridiculously good. For mains, I went with my usual benchmarks: beef pad see ew and duck in red curry. Both delivered. The pad see ew had a solid portion of Chinese broccoli, noodles cooked just right, and that perfect balance of savory flavor. The red duck curry? Rich, fragrant, and the kind of dish that reminds you why you fell in love with Thai food in the first place. No exaggeration--these might be the best versions of both dishes I've had in 20 years of eating Thai. And I don't say that lightly. I was just in Vegas and went off-strip to try a highly recommended Thai spot... this place beats it, easily. My wife agreed, and she doesn't hand out food compliments like participation trophies. At that point, we figured dessert was mandatory because clearly this place refuses to miss. Mango sticky rice came out and--shocking--also excellent. Sweet, balanced, and a perfect finish. Total bill was around $100, including a large Thai iced tea (also on point). Bottom line: this family knows exactly what they're doing. If they keep this up, they won't be "hidden" for long--they'll be packed with repeat customers who, like me, came for curiosity and left planning their next visit.

All the food came out hot and you could tell it was just made. However, items on the menu felt hit or miss. The tom yum soup, personally a miss, something about the smell of it was off which affected my taste. The roti in the roti thai style was really good and flaky, but the massaman curry was too thick. Drunken noodles were well made, and I had asked for spicy which the waitress gave us a warning that I might be "too much." However, it was quite the opposite and a bit below the spice level I was expecting. Also, felt like if you were ordering outside of their lunch special, the food is a bit expensive for what you get.

The dish in question was a dish called Pad Mee Duck and I've had it prior many times, but in other restaurants. What I received was steaming hot, but gloppy in texture and overly sweet. The duck had been deep fried, then sliced. It was in a shell of some kind of breading, maybe panko but the oil in the deep fat fryer was burnt tasting. Perhaps it should be changed more often? The noodles instead of being stir fried and crispy were sodden and listless. There was a disconnect somewhere between recipe and execution. Both were lacking. The vegetables, typical Asian style were just that. Typical. Not very fresh. But the duck was inedible and this dish was far from inexpensive. Don't order this preparation. It really needs work.
