Fried tofu

I had this spot on my radar for some time now and finally got the opportunity to go. I was able to find parking nearby and was greeted by Kevin. I called him the hardest working man because not only did he serve us perfectly, he was taking orders over the phone and doing the take out. This place is BYOB and we ordered a plethora of things. For appetizers we had dumplings, spring rolls, and fried tofu. I liked the dumplings even though a little cold and the spring rolls were good. Wasn't a fan of the tofu though. For an entrée I had the vegetable drunken noodle which was tasty. My friend enjoyed all of his food as well. I will definitely be back.

Papaya salad like a fruit salad. Not Thai papaya salad.

Not legit thai food. I've tried this place many many years ago and it was definitely not Thai food. Got take out and was really disappointed that its still American Chinese food catfishing me as thai food. The biggest give away was the papaya salad had ripe papaya in it!!! The curry puff was the boiled potatoes with curry powder seasoning in wonton skin. The drunken noodles was spicy chow fun. The Thai chili chicken broccoli was, you guessed!!!! Spicy chicken and broccoli. I hate being a jerk during this pandemic but don't be trying to be like Ong bak when you're Kung Fu hustle. They should try to make legit thai food. It's 2020, there's youtube and tiktok!!! Should have been 1 stars but I didn't get sick.

Me and my husband will definetly return! The crab ragoons were AMAZING! The tumyum soul was also really really good. Pineapple fried rice and mang chicken was out of this world...my taste buds were having a blast. The pad Thai was good too but I got extra peanuts ! It's byob and was very reasonably priced.

So I've been here before but I guess just writing a review now. Had late lunch the other day. Lunch specials are until 3pm ... so I was bummed when I had just missed it Parking is street and scarce at times Inside is ok. Not many people inside at that time since it was a weekday which I liked . I ordered Tom Kha soup which was flavorful. I also ordered the green curry and it was a pretty large size- came with side of rice . Also flavorful although I would have liked the sauce a less "liquidy" I can't remember what I got before but I wouldn't mind coming back to check out some other options

Pad See Ewe

Im so disapointed in this restaurant. I ordered the pad see ewe with chicken and there is NO flavor. Its the oddest thing. The chicken seems breaded and then stir fried, nothing like stir fried thai noodles. The only broccoli in my dish was stems chopped up... This is my second time ordering. The first time i figuered they were having a bad day or something. What a waste of money, beyond dissatisfied.

A local restaurant that we have been meaning to try. The shrimp pad Thai was not to my liking. The taste was not enjoyable.

Food is excellent. Best Thai food I've had in Union County New Jersey. Rivals NYC Thai food.

Good thai food, chicken curry and duck curry, fried tofu. A decent thai place for a quick thai food crave.

I liked the curry more than the noodles actually, in which we tried pad Thai and pad see ew. Their Thai iced tea is very good too as I got to try that. There's a backroom that could be used for parties or overflow. Ample parking nearby. The food was just not up to par. Nearly any other Thai restaurant has better food and I'm not judging it against the best ones. While both appetizers were good- Crab Ragoon and Thai Shumai - we both ordered the Pad Thai, my friend with shrimp and I ordered chicken. The main taste was of ketchup and the teh dish had a sort of dark and musky flavor. Now ketchup is used in Asian cooking, but not as the dominant flavor in Pad Thai. And it didn't have that bright flavor you associate with Thai food. In a effort to get a more balanced and less dark flavor, I asked for more limes and peanuts. Nope, didn't really help. While my chicken was appropriately cooked, the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. We both had the Sticky Mango Rice which had little sauce to marry the rice and the mango. If the food was the only issue, it would have been 3 stars. But the service was simply unprofessional. So let me start out with I understand there were only one other couple eating dinner, insofar as we could see. And we arrived at 7:00. The restaurant closes at 9. It was a Tuesday night. As we ate our main course, the waiter repeatedly tried to clear our entree plates. We were still eating. Rather annoying but they continued to try and take our plates though, again, we were still eating. Then they brought desserts and tried to shove them on the table for two when there was no room since our entree were still there! Assuming we'd never see them again, I suggested we put them on the adjacent table. We left a 8.30, while they were closing up. So heres the deal. You want to close up while we're there and still eating, fine. I really don't have an issue. But trying to grab plates while we're eating and doing it repeatedly and insisting on serving dessert when we are still eating our entrees is simply not professional and appropriate. Another star demerit.

The restaurant had only a few people when we walked in. Two of us arrived first and we were seated immediately while waiting for the third person, who came about 5 minutes later. I mention this detail because a lot of restaurants are strict about not seating you until the entire party arrives (I appreciate Nakorn for not sweating the small stuff). It was my second time and their first time (per my suggestion). We're all foodies so I was confident they'd enjoy! And I was right :) For starters, we shared a curry puff appetizer (3 pieces). Small size, BIG flavor!! Especially paired with the pickled sauce. Chef's kiss! For our main dishes - I had the Chicken Pad See Ew and they tried the Mixed Seafood Pad See Ew (shrimp, scallops, and mussels). Everything was delicious!!! Had it not been for the intriguing conversation around the table, we easily would not have any leftovers to take home. It is a BYOB establishment, so we brough Sake and enjoyed it in the wine glasses provided by Nakorn. I love downtown Summit and all of its foodie glory, but if you've ever been, you know what parking is like. Free after 6pm Monday - Saturday and free all day Sunday. There's a small lot directly across the street from Nakorn, which is convenient. Be intentional though, the parking spaces go fast.

I would like to say the food was good or bad but I never had a chance to find out. Of course I lost my $20 tip (the poor dasher deserved it for waiting and doing the work, but still) Not a great experience.

It's not very good at Morris Thai and maybe part of the problem is my fault. I ordered a dish that…read moreshould have been delicious, but what I received was far from fresh, thus nearly inedible. The dish in question was a dish called Pad Mee Duck and I've had it prior many times, but in other restaurants. What I received was steaming hot, but gloppy in texture and overly sweet. The duck had been deep fried, then sliced. It was in a shell of some kind of breading, maybe panko but the oil in the deep fat fryer was burnt tasting. Perhaps it should be changed more often? The noodles instead of being stir fried and crispy were sodden and listless. There was a disconnect somewhere between recipe and execution. Both were lacking. The vegetables, typical Asian style were just that. Typical. Not very fresh. But the duck was inedible and this dish was far from inexpensive. Don't order this preparation. It really needs work.

The downside is they close early ish, 8pm. The yellow curry was not too spicy just enough, the carrots still had a nice crunch to them and the flavors just combined so well. The pad Thai was also super tasty and the noodles weren't over cooked and falling apart. Overall I had a great experience and would happily return.
