The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh and delicious! The hot appetizers are straight from the chef that you need to eat them slowly. Nice simple ambiance with a touch of Vietnamese culture. BYO.

This place was sooooo good! Broth was very flavorful. The grilled beef ribs were delicious. I also really liked the summer (spring) rolls, the peanut sauce was really good. Service was friendly and quick. And the place is so cute. It's in a small plaza but no issues with parking.

    Bone-in beef rib

We ordered the bone-in beef rib, ox tail pho, and P3. The bone-in beef was so tender, the bone came right off. The ox-tail was tender, but the ox tails are too small. The P3 brisket, round eye, and beef round was good. The only negative is for 3 people, they are cheap with the bean sprouts and jalapeño! The service was quick. The is our 2nd time going here and they do not disappoint!

Pho always hits the spot on a chilly fall day! My husband and I decided to try out a new pho spot from our usual and enjoyed Pho Ninh Kieu. I enjoyed the vermicelli with grilled pork and egg rolls. The pork was the best part, delicious and so flavorful! My husband had the large pho combo. He mentioned there was lots of meat which was tasty but the broth could be more flavorful. We also shared the durian shake which we both thought could have had a stronger durian flavor. Overall the place was nicely decorated and the service was so friendly!

I've been to Pho Ninh Kieu twice now, with the first visit having been in the heat of summer when their air conditioner was broken. During that visit, I was able to order a mushroom broth veggie pho but was sad to learn that they don't offer a smaller size bowl. Other pho dishes have the option to downsize, but the noodles and veggies can't be, which I find odd. The pho was delicious and I returned for lunch recently to hit the spot on a cold winter day. I was sitting there for a bit while waiting for my friend to arrive and perused the menu. I decided to order the veggie pho again and upon arriving, my friend planned to opt for the beef. Someone came to take our order and when I asked for my pho, they told me they had no mushroom or chicken broth available. I would have liked to have been informed of this while I was sitting there waiting. I requested more time to figure out what to order, and the (assuming) owner came to our table. I asked if it was possible to order the pho and add hot water as a broth substitute so I could season it myself with the provided herbs and flavorings at the table. I was met with resistance, but I didn't see why it would be a big deal. Some other items were recommended, but I explained I needed vegetarian and gluten-free options. Eventually, I was swayed to order a veggie fried rice. Sometime later, the owner brought out a bowl of the veggie pho for me and said the kitchen was able to make a broth for it. I was super appreciative of the gesture and got to enjoy some delicious pho. The effort was there and that's the kind of thing that will keep me coming back.

Recently visited after being GF for the past couple years and was excited to be able to eat any of the soups. I got the p3 soup at the recommendation of our waiter and the broth was very complex and delicious. The meat was a little on the chewy side so I would try to substitute that next time because otherwise the flavor was great. We also got shrimp summer rolls to start and they were so fresh and tasty with the sauce. Thai iced tea was delicious but a little too sweet so I would ask for less sugar next time. Overall, still my go to spot for pho!

Food: The pho was a delicious and satisfying meal. The broth was flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the meat was tender. Loved how attentive they were when they were serving our pho- was making sure we were able to enjoy it while it was still fresh and hot. Cost: The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. Environment: The restaurant was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable dining experience. Service: The service was efficient and friendly. The food was served promptly. Uniqueness: While the pho was excellent- it's a great spot for a classic bowl of pho. If i'm around the area, would be more than happy to stop by again to have another bowl of their delicious pho and maybe even try some of their other dishes as well this time.

The restaurant has a good sit-down space and is decorated well but we did a takeout order of eye of round and flank pho. It was easy to place the order over the phone. The broth was in its own container. Noodles and meat were in another container, and sprouts, jalapeno and lime were in a Ziploc bag. I appreciated the packing. The broth is flavorful and the meal is the perfect bowl of comfort at the end of the day.

Perfect local place for no-frills Vietnamese food! The service was fast and attentive. The decor inside was modern and they had beautiful light fixtures. I ordered three dishes: * Pork Baos - 7.5/10 - Not a traditional dish but delicious nonetheless. The pork was fatty and paired well with the pickled vegetables. * Grilled Lean Pork Thin Vermicelli - 8.5/10 - I love Vietnamese grilled pork for the slightly charred flavor and sweet marinade. I would have liked a few more ingredients in the dipping sauce like garlic and chilis. * Pho Ninh Kieu - 8.5/10 - The broth was a little sweeter than what I'm used to in pho, but it was still fragrant and delicious. They gave a hefty serving of noodles and they were cooked just right. Overall, I would come again if I were craving inexpensive Vietnamese food. There is convenient parking and plenty of seats.

Pho Ninh Kieu is a Vietnamese restaurant, tucked away alongside Sukhadia in a row of other businesses. They have shifted to an adjacent place and remodeled their restaurant in the new Avtar. The timing was a little odd for me (it closes at 8 PM) so we reached there by 730. It was Wednesday night and hardly 2-3 tables were occupied, we waited for the server to get the table but no one showed up, so we got settled ourselves. Again, waited for the server to bring the menu, but helped ourselves to pick from the adjacent table. Most Vietnamese food is harmonious, healthy, light to eat, colorful, and very diet-friendly- that's what I heard. We ordered- * Grilled Chicken Summer - rolled in rice paper, I did not find it wow types - 2.5/5 * Shrimp Bao - soft bao with shrimp - it was good * Chicken Fried Rice: Best item on the table :D * Grilled Chicken Pho: Pho - it was just boiled noodles with veggies. Not even a suggestion by the server/owner that - hey eat it with this or mix some sauce. I was mixing sauces (kept at the table) to make it edible. Like what and how to mix so that we can eat that. I might sound ignorant but hey if I am new to your cuisine, help me out. * Shredded Chicken Rice Noodles Soup: same case with chicken soup as well. not sure it was supposed to be that way, but have it edible man. * Grilled Chicken Rice Vermicelli: Vermicelli- it's a cold dish, and again they have just mixed cold noodles with veggies and no sauces. it was left on us how and what to mix to make it edible. it was no fun. I might sound orthodox and controversial, but on the contrary, I did not like the food. and the best item was chicken fried rice. The grilled chicken they served- the same type of chicken in every dish, from appetizer to Pho to rice vermicelli. Service: it was on the slower side, with 2 folks (I guess a couple runs this restaurant), and from beginning to end, we had to wait for service. Ambiance: it's new and fancy, classic find dine-in feel. Price: reasonable.

The pho at this place is the real deal- the broth has such a deep, rich flavor and everything in the soup enhanced the dish. My friend and I got the shrimp pho and pork buns and they were We went on a weekday so it wasn't super packed, but the low lights and hanging pictures created a nice chill atmosphere. This is going to be my new go to pho spot in town.

Was driving from NYC to Canfield Ohio. Stopped to get some gas, was hungry and drove by this restaurant. I just knew I had to get some Pho! Restaurant heater was not working, but vibe was chill and friendly. Owner gave me a warmer seat and we got down to business. The business of eating a delicious meal, well prepared and served with love. I had the beef pho and the pork buns. I wish I had a bigger stomach, because I would have 2X to 3X as much food. It was that good. And i write as a New Yorker, used to getting excellent pho in that city. Thanks you so much.

Ask the Community - Pho Ninh Kieu

Is there gluten in the broth they use? Is there gluten in the rice noodles? If no, is there gluten anywhere else in the pho?…

I'm not sure about the broth, but usually rice noodles have no gluten. I'll ask next time I'm there. I'm actually gluten sensitive, not celiac, and I've not noticed any problems when I eat there.

    Do they use MSG?

I'm not sure, but I agree with Christopher's response. If you are anti-MSG, you should probably stop eating Lay's potato chips, Doritos, and Ruffles because they all have MSG.

Everyone must try the Saigon special sandwich. I'm a foodie and a picky eater, I can tell from the ingredients of the sandwich that this restaurant genuinely demonstrates craftsmanship in how they prepare their food! Saigon special sandwich is the MUST ORDER! I highly recommend it! The curry beef over rice(I forgot the name) was great as well. Mango pudding is not good, it is heavily artificial flavored, avoid it if could.

Parking can be a bit tricky given its location near a major road, but there is metered parking right out front. One thing I really appreciated was the thoughtful packaging. Instead of wrapping everything in paper/foil (which traps steam and softens the bread), they use takeaway containers that keep the banh mi bread crispy and intact. The portions are generous! I don't think I've ever had a bahn mi with so much protein! I personally asked for extra cilantro on some of the sandwiches which is why the cilantro looks so obnoxious in the pictures. Everything was solid and satisfying! The lemongrass chicken bahn mi stood out with its aromatic flavor. The Saigon special bahn mi though, could've used a bit more presence from the mayo and pate to enhance the flavors. Sounds weird, but surprisingly, the sardines in tomato sauce bahn mi was better than it sounds. It was savory and definitely worth trying if you're feeling adventurous. The summer rolls were fresh, clean, and a great complement to the sandwiches. My only note: I wish the pickled carrots and radish had a bit more tang. They leaned mild rather than punchy. Overall, a reliable spot with thoughtful touches and flavorful options. I'd come back again.

Pho-king delicious…read more It was one of the coldest days of the year and we were craving a comforting bowl of pho (rice noodle soup) to warm ourselves up. We visited Vietnam Pho in Woodland Park, located on Rt 46. It's in a business complex so there's plenty of parking. It's a casual, cozy, and family-owned restaurant with a spacious seating area. The staff is welcoming and attentive. The menu offers all of the Vietnamese classics you're craving - steaming bowls of pho, vermicelli noodles topped with fresh vegetables, crispy banh mi sandwiches, stir-fries, and a variety of grilled meats like lemongrass pork and chicken. And if you're a boba lover, they even have bubble tea. Prices are reasonable, but here's a big tip: You get a 10% discount when you pay with cash. There's an ATM inside. There were a few hits and misses with our order, but overall we left feeling satisfied with our meal. The misses: *Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Condensed Milk ($5.95) - This was much sweeter and thicker than I expected! It tasted more like a dessert drink than an iced coffee. The condensed milk's sweetness overpowered the coffee flavor. I have a big sweet tooth, so I still enjoyed it. But if you're sensitive to sugar, you might want to skip this or ask for less milk. *Fresh Shrimp/Summer Rolls with poached shrimp, vermicelli, & peanut sauce ($7.95) - Not a fan. The rolls were bland and mostly just filled with vermicelli noodles. The peanut sauce was a let down. The flavors were off and it had a watery consistency. It barely tasted like peanuts. I don't know if they used too much vinegar or sugar, but either way... the ingredients were completely unbalanced. Now for the hits... We came for the STAR DISH: PHO! Every order comes with rice noodles, beef broth, white onions, scallions, and cilantro with a side of bean sprouts, lime, basil, and jalapeno peppers. We ordered: *Pork Chop Pho ($16.95) - I absolutely loved the lemongrass marinade (made with lemongrass, fish sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, & shallots)! The meat was juicy, sweet, and savory. I could tell the chef grilled it perfectly because of the smoky charred edges. *Rare Beef & Well Done Brisket Pho ($14.95 size small) - They did not skimp out on the protein here! The beef cuts were large, tender, and flavorful! The broth was the heart of the pho - aromatic, warm, and rich! The spices (cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, and coriander) made it taste even better. I always enjoy adding hot chili and hoisin sauce for that extra heat and sweetness. The noodles were silky smooth and soaked up all that beefy broth. Yum, yum! And you can't forget about loading up on the garnishes to add a satisfying crunch and more flavor in every slurp! Pho was the perfect comfort food on the coldest day of the year~

Didn't get a chance to try it out until yesterday and man, we were missing out. The yunnan rice noodle soups are so good, and different, from the more commonly found Asian noodles; ramen, udon, pho, etc. Not going to say that it's better than the others but it's absolutely fantastic that there's another option now when you just want a warm, comforting noodle soup. Especially since winter is coming. The setup is more akin to a food court than a restaurant so the small seating area is shared with Kam Man and all the tableware/utensils are plastic and disposable. There's a door to the outside basically right there though so unless you're seated to either side of it you get blasted w/cold air every time someone enters or exits. For my first visit I went with their "pickled pepper soup rice noodle w/beef stew" (A8) and it was very good. The soup was flavorful and the noodles were perfect; fresh & not mushy at all. And digging through the bowl was like going on a treasure hunt for lil' yummy morsels: a quail egg here, some wood ear there, a random piece of thinly sliced ham, good stuff. However, for those of you w/nut allergies, they do add roasted peanuts to some of their dishes so you'll probably want to tell them to not add them to your food. The only minor neg with the dish was that the beef brisket was a tad tougher than I'd like. But if brisket isn't your thing, they also have the same dish but with "beef roll" (A7) which I found to be an odd translation for basically thinly sliced beef. I was so enamored w/this noodle soup that I brought my wife the very next day. I went with the same soup base but w/fish fillet (A9) this time and it was just as good as the first time. I will definitely have to come more often to try out their other offerings. I also noticed that they have rice based dishes as well in case you get tired of noodles. So anyway, I'll definitely be visiting a lot more and I really hope they stick around longer than the previous eateries at this location. And while it would be nice (if not really feasible) to get your food in 10 seconds as their name implies, so far their food has definitely been worth the wait.

Their menu is massive with almost 200 items literally numbered! It seems to be a neighborhood staple and I was looking forward to trying it. I started with the Malaysian Iced tea which was pretty sweet (as expected) but paired nicely with the meal. The Roti Canai is the most popular item here and I can see why. It's flaky and buttery and pairs well with the sweet & savory chicken potato curry. The Penang Satay Mix is an absolute skip. Apparently it's "charcoal-grilled" and there's no way that's possible. It was super dry & chewy. On the other hand, the Penang Char Kway Teow - this was my favorite dish of the night! The flat rice noodles were cooked perfectly and soaked up all the flavor from the soy sauce & chili paste. The shrimp & squid were super fresh and my only complaint is there wasn't enough. The Chili Chicken was simple yet full of heat, spices, and could've gone well with a vegetable dish. Super affordable, filling, and quick service. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating!
