I did a road trip from Eureka to Westport and stayed in Abderdeen for a night. A recommendation from a local beer spot led me to Billy's. I had a burger that was cooked just right along with an Oregon Pinot. The ambience was total local's spot, noisy but not too noisy, efficient friendly service, clean (even the bathroom). If you're going to eat here drink a lot of beer first and then the flavorless food won't matter. My wife had the Caesar salad with "cajun" chicken. They got the Caesar part right but the chicken didn't come close to cajun. I had the Smothered Chicken dinner. The smothered chicken (carmelized onions, mushrooms and cheese) was ok but the mashed potatoes had a flavor not found in nature. The carrots were dumped out of a bag and boiled, almost to the point of embarrassment. Drink the beer and order a burger. Who could screw a burger? read more

The food here is awesome. The atmosphere is cozy but hip but what really impressed me about this place was the history. Billy's is names after a local serial killer who worked for the sailors union in a building near by this one on the wishkah river. Billy Ghoul was the man responible for checking in the sailors, at which time he would offer a safe for valubales and ask various questions., Like what ya here for? How long ya staying ? Do you have family in the area or know anyone ? Next of kin? If he answered the questions in a way billy thought no one would miss him. He would shoot em in the head and take what was in their pockets and slide their body put a hatch the went from directly under his desk to the wishka river. So many men went missing here that Aberdeen was actually known as the "port of missing men" and the shocking amount of body's I. The river was referred to as "the floaters fleet" from 1095- 1910 it is estimated he killed well over 200 men. But was only convicted of 2 murders.. no body mo crime. He passed away in Western state from syphilitic dementia. The building Billy's is in currently used to be a bar down stairs and a brothel upstairs. Because of the booming logging industry and the bustling port Aberdeen was as I say "built on the backs of whores. It rains a great deal of the year here which back in the days made o For messy roads so everyone traveled mostly by boat or ferrry. They say that Billy's restuaunt is haunted as are many places well the ones still standing anyway. So go grab a perfectly cooked steak, and one of the best margaritas in town and see if you can't catch a ghost or just enjoy what is no doubtly the best restraining Aberdeen hands down. They have comfortable booths with old fashioned high dividers between, a classic B&G interior decor, even an embossed metal tile ceiling, all housed in a beautiful historic brick building. But the atmosphere is completely modern and fun. Our food was excellent, the steak cooked to a perfect rare, as requested, and all else tasty and plentiful. The drink menu (full bar, of course) is creative with locally crafted innebrients as well as all the best standard spirits. I love Billy's! Great roadside Americana pub grub tavern with a northwest flair and great service! Loved the beer selection from WA and OR, so it was hard to choose a brew, they are served in schooner, pint or big beer glass sizes. The burger and fries were tasty & my hubby raved about his fried oysters, said they were perfect! They serve a variety menu and I was curious about the Yak burger but I just ordered a beef black bayou burger, ya can't go wrong there! My Cosmo was so strong it was hard to drink, it was just gross. Ordered a margarita and that was still very strong but a bit better. My Ruben was so sloppy and wet I couldn't hold onto it. Well, what can I say about Billy's... AMAZING!!! For a small town Restaurant/Bar...Billy's is the place to be. The food is amazing and our group ended up eating there multiple days in a row (due to my sons state playoff run for little league baseball). Not one person in our group had complaints. The Club sammy...Amazing, the Brick Chili Burger...Amazing...the French Dip...Amazing...the Cajun tots...Amazing!!! Service was fantastic and the people there were really genuine and nice. Our server Jenn even brought out some chocolate chip cookies for the boys and wished them good luck in their game! One of my favorite restaurants in town. The food is always great and the staff is friendly. I help out with theatre productions around Grays Harbor and Billy's is a place that my friends and I often visit after performances--which sometimes involves a group of ten or more of us walking in less than thirty minutes before the kitchen closes! The staff has always been welcoming and understanding of this though, and has given us great food and service every time. I have a number of usual orders that I alternate between when I come here, all of which are delicious. Great stop on the way home from Westport beach day. The location was perfect with plenty of parking. Cool, fun atmosphere inside in this seat yourself establishment. I had the club, my husband the bleu cheeseburger and my son had something off the kids menu. All very tasty and fresh. The ambiance was relaxing, with a full bar, comfortable booths, and big windows. The food was good; my gf said that the hollandaise on the eggs benedict was one of the best she's had (but skip the shrimp with it, they're just tiny salad shrimp).
