Cheap after market products clearly explain the 30 day warranty. Ok, let's tell the short version of how honest and skilled Tom(owner) with Hulk Locksmith was on this job. I was not even there, good thing for Tom, I would not have given him the job, bad for me($$$). I was in the hospital, so I tasked my friend to find a trust worthy Locksmith to cut keys with remotes with basic functions. Nothing special, older gen 1 Raptor. $1,200 for one after market key remote($20 on eBay, cheap quality) and one OEM remote(worked once to open the truck 30 days after the job was completed due to being in the hospital. Note, later finding out the dealership was $900 with 2 year warranty with 2 OEM keys, other competitors even less. I was unable to drive much during 4 months of recovery, but when I did the remote never worked consistently? Due to not using truck much during recovery my truck battery needed replaced and after that the key remotes never worked again. After reaching out to Tom it was lie after lie or "I have to charge you" "The insides of remotes are OEM" The one that kills me, you said "I'm a retired vet" I have a large family full of honorable retired vets that I respect, but Tom, being a vet does not make a person honest, it makes them patriots. And let me tell you, he was on the defense about everything, explosively angry with almost threatening anger!! All my communications have been professional and non-threatening. Direct and to the point, but Tom has chosen not to respond. ALL YOU READERS, please read all the 1-2 star reviews, you might see a trend/common denominator. When other repeatable locksmiths would not take the job due to no valid proof of ownership(no title, no registration or documents with address matching ID's) that should had been my friends first real sign of poor business ethics ( State licence agreement) . Unfortunately my friend was in a pickle, that's on me. Tom, this all could have been avoided had you made your wrong right.
