It was a standard brown wooden door with a normal kwikset knob. They asked me if it was an emergency, I said "no I can wait a few days" they asked where I was located & I told them & then they said " oh someone is near you, we can send them to you now if you want" I said "okay, I'll be here but it's not a rush. How much will it cost" then they said "we'll send them out to take a look since we can't assess over the phone - kid arrived. Maybe 23 years old & started going at the door. I honestly felt like he wasn't super experienced just based on the questions he was asking. Still no discussion of pricing. After 15 mins he said he can't unlock it & will have to drill. I said okay well ho much is that- he said let me call it in & I'll come back. Then came back & drilled the door, & I mentioned several times how I could have just waited. He finally got it open after he drilled my door know which I could have done on my own. Cut his finger in this process. I then thanked him & offered him water. He said he would be back to do the paper work. I said okay & he came back and told me it would be $560!!! They charged me $100 for a rush charge when I said "no rush & this is not an emergency & I can wait 2 days" then when I laughed at the cost because that is the price of my rent, he said I didn't stop him at any point.
