Im convinced the reviews for this place are a scam or fake. Tom "the owner" was immediately rude upon arriving for the call and these guys had no idea what they were doing. They wanted to point fingers at another vendor instead of accepting blame that they didn't know how to operate the door we were working on. They made myself and other staff feel very uncomfortable and I will never use this vendor again. Don't hire them for commercial spaces, they're rude, they dont care what services you need and they'll blame anyone but themselves. read more

Came out to make my husband a new key for his door and ignition after his only key was stolen... simple, easy, is how it was made to seem. Gets here, pulls out the entire ignition, puts it back in and tells my husband "you'll have to hold the ignition to pull the key out", when that was not the case before. Naturally, my husband gets upset because he wants his truck put back into the condition it was before, of course, who wouldn't, especially when you're giving this man every last dollar you currently have because you need this key, and someone else quoted almost $200 less, and hulk repeated says that they're scam artist blah blah blah, so went with them. When my husband gets upset and tries to pay him and tells him to just leave, he proceeds to call the cops on my husband. I separate them, convince hulk to let me pay him, he cancels with the cops, and I pay him the full amount. He proceeds to tell me he doesn't understand why my husband is so upset and I just let him know that "we're giving you all our money we currently have when we had a cheaper quote from elsewhere and you didn't properly fix the truck" and he told me he did... whatever. Get the key, pay him, great... 2 days later, the entire ignition pulls out with the key, batteries of course left on, so now dead, tried to call, was told they'd call me back. Have heard nothing. That was Saturday today is Monday. Just tried calling again, my husband and I both tried, and now it seems our phone numbers have been blocked...... we now need to pay almost another $500 to fix this companies mistake and took our money and ran. Funny he kept saying the other companies are all scam artist and they'll scam you over, etc etc. that was mentioned more than once to my husband.... Well.. turns out, HULK IS THE SCAM ARTIST!!!!! karma will make her way back around. God bless. Stay far away from this company(Hulk Locksmith). Hulk turned green, that explains $$$ greed, which was Tom's motivation for this job and taking advantage of someone that was not paying him directly, cowardly. I say money scam. Cheap after market products clearly explain the 30 day warranty. Ok, let's tell the short version of how honest and skilled Tom(owner) with Hulk Locksmith was on this job. I was not even there, good thing for Tom, I would not have given him the job, bad for me($$$). I was in the hospital, so I tasked my friend to find a trust worthy Locksmith to cut keys with remotes with basic functions. Nothing special, older gen 1 Raptor. $1,200 for one after market key remote($20 on eBay, cheap quality) and one OEM remote(worked once to open the truck 30 days after the job was completed due to being in the hospital. Note, later finding out the dealership was $900 with 2 year warranty with 2 OEM keys, other competitors even less. I was unable to drive much during 4 months of recovery, but when I did the remote never worked consistently? Due to not using truck much during recovery my truck battery needed replaced and after that the key remotes never worked again. After reaching out to Tom it was lie after lie or "I have to charge you" "The insides of remotes are OEM" The one that kills me, you said "I'm a retired vet" I have a large family full of honorable retired vets that I respect, but Tom, being a vet does not make a person honest, it makes them patriots. And let me tell you, he was on the defense about everything, explosively angry with almost threatening anger!! All my communications have been professional and non-threatening. Direct and to the point, but Tom has chosen not to respond. ALL YOU READERS, please read all the 1-2 star reviews, you might see a trend/common denominator. When other repeatable locksmiths would not take the job due to no valid proof of ownership(no title, no registration or documents with address matching ID's) that should had been my friends first real sign of poor business ethics ( State licence agreement) . At that point he had already taken off my locks so I felt pressured to proceed. When I said I actually wanted to cancel I was charged $225 for a service fee and cancellation fee. if there was a way to leave zero stars, I would I've never had such a poor experience with a "cheat company" what I was told on the phone for the price of the keys and the key fobs plus the $75 show up fee was not what I was told once they got here and tried to start taking my money it went from $325 to $725! completely ridiculous steer clear or get scammed. I ended up calling a local owned business husband and wife business who took care of my needs for $300 supplied me with two programmed and cut keys, two programmed remotes, and two spare keys to unlock the car - a far cry from the $725 "hulk" tried to steal from me! I basically had to threaten to call the police to get them to leave my driveway. Claiming that he used to be a navy seal for 9yrs - irrelevant to the situation - why would you lie about what you told the price was over the phone if you truly where a navy seal in the past, the last thing you would be doing is trying to lie and cheat! trying to intimidate is ridiculous read more

Complete SCAM but I was too tired and stressed to fight them over the outrageous cost. I had driven long distance to unlock my storage unit and pack it all up. I let "Tom" know during our phone calls that I am unemployed right now and have minimal funds left to assist me and my elderly dad with loading up all my storage stuff onto the trailer. I needed the rest of my money to pay the worker who would help us load it all plus gas to drive back home. He told me multiple times he would work with me prior to arrival, initially quoting $85 to remove the lock on my storage unit but repeatedly avoided discussing any other potential fees when asked. Lo and behold, he shows up and immediately starts telling me how with this lock, it appears to be the type with an outrageous cost "actually" and claims to be doing me a favor. Typical sales scam. And it was bullshit-- a quick Google search confirmed that, and plus the other company I had been talking to told me it would be 100 including fees. I should have went with them instead. Much more professional and straight forward about cost. Unfortunately I was pressured to go with his company over the phone and he reassured me over and over that he would help me out and take care of me. During and after unlocking the unit, he refused to budge about the cost and made me pay 150 and then on top of that pulled some shit about "taxes" he had to add despite paying him over Zelle. So it came out to be $162 but he definitely wanted more than that and tried repeatedly. I truly got the sense from him that he is one of those guys that likes to take advantage of women, or other people he feels are weak or dumb, and cons them with his lies to get more money. Reading some of the negative reviews I see here, my feeling was correct because they all echo the same issue. And yeah, he tried to pressure me to write a 5 star review for him too. That's how the ratings are so good. Tom, you should be ashamed of how you take advantage of people's kindness, stressful financial situations and/or lack of knowledge about typical costs with these services.
