Our tenants were unable to open the keyless entry lock to the front door of our downtown home during a recent cold front. Despite easier entry into the home through the side/back doors, the Hulk Locksmith went through the front door, rejiggered the digital keypad (something which could have been done by watching YouTube), made 2 backup front keys - then charged $400+ for the repair. Wow! Talk about horrible shady service! We live at an apartment complex and had a package delivered, but the key they left to open the mailbox wouldn't work. We went to the website on the key and called the number. Spoke to a woman who said one of the guys just left our complex and would see if they were still in the area to come back to unlock it. 30mins later get a call from a guy saying he is on the way. Calls again when he shows up. Then when my partner goes to the mailbox the guy tries to say it's $150 to open the mailbox!! We were never told on any of the 3 phone calls we would be charged or we were even talking to a locksmith company! why would we pay to open the mailbox that they control if their key is the reason that didn't open??? We kept going back and forth with the "owner" he claimed to be of the company. I had to call the police, he finally said we could take the package because he didn't want to deal with us anymore and I told him the cops would be here in 20-30mins. Then as I told him he would be getting a yelp review he lost his mind and started screaming obscenities at us and wanting to take our package back. Beea In response to the owners reply- that. Is fine you lost your cool and are embarrassed being the owner and don't want to admit the unprofessionalism. we had no idea you were a locksmith when we contacted the info on the key. it does not say that on the key and when we went to the website and called the number at the top there was never a mention of a charge for a locksmith. If you charge people you should inform them before you come out. We did have food in there and we didn't beg you, you finally got "tired of dealing with us" as you said and didn't want to wait for the cops. As an owner of a company you also shouldn't be screaming gay slurs and Obscenities as people, that looks so poorly on a company, especially from an owner, so yeah, talk about karma. The fact you think we work for a competitive locksmith company and are setting you up is hilarious. We simply couldn't get into our mailbox and contacted the info on the key and got you. Why would anyone pay $150 to get in a mailbox when we could have just had the mailman open it the next day, we thought you were the one in charge of the mailbox when we contacted the number. Also, if you were "doing it out of the kindness in your heart" then why did you try to even try to charge up!? You only let us take the package after the cops were called. Straight up communication on the first call saying "it will be a service fee of xx to come out" we would have said no. It would have saved you a trip, an argument, a bad review. So maybe check your policies and procedures and whomever is taking your calls because the info was never provided until you showed up. read more

This past Sunday my fiancé Locked her key in. It was rainy day. The guy showed up after 35 mins which is ok. What is not ok that He tried to charge me triple amount what is normally cost. The lock on our back door has been very difficult, almost impossible, to turn for awhile. It got so bad that we didn't use the dead bolt anymore and the lack of a strike place made the door shake in the wind, which then set our alarm off each night. It was bad. Needed a locksmith on a Sunday for a commercial grade lock change. The locksmith was able to come within an hour and change the lock. Before he started his work, he made sure I was aware of how much it was going to cost so there was no surprises later. He was done literally in about 10 seconds.
