In our quest to find rental clothing, we came across Mountain Threads and Jared, and I am absolutely certain that it made our ski experience that much better. Jared was responsive, helpful, and kind - both on the phone and in person. He opened the shop early to accommodate our ski time - which was incredible - and $40 for all of the rental wear was a solid price. Easily a 10/10 - you won't go wrong here!

I spoke with Jared who was incredibly helpful in identifying the gear I needed. Further, Jared walked me through a timeline for leaving Denver, stopping by the shop to try on gear, and making it to my ski lesson on time. Throughout the process Jared was accommodating and generous with his insights. The price point was incredibly competitive - jacket, pants, goggles and gloves for $40. I believe a helmet could have been included, but the ski park included a helmet in their equipment package. I would recommend Mountain Threads without hesitation.

You will need to use street parking or a public parking lot such as I did. It's really not bad at all to park away from the location and get out for a nice walk to the store. You will pass other stores and businesses that perhaps catch your eye for shopping. After finishing up at Patagonia I went to Denver Market for an ice cold beverage. The store lay-out for Patagonia isn't bad. It's clean and organized. Staff aren't so helpful. There were two staff members at the front register. Why one of them couldn't be on the main floor helping customers is a mystery. When going to check out at the register one of them pretty much ignored me then caught herself moments later. Management: please improve customer relations. Don't make interactions so transactional. I walked away with what I wanted but probably should have just used another retailer or distributor to get it. I'm in no hurry to return to this location.

Disappointed and Misleading Sizing Claims…read more I was so excited to find a swimwear brand that claims to be made for "big boobs and short torsos" and "designed for all boob-kind." Their marketing really builds up the idea that they're inclusive and supportive of different body types--especially those of us who struggle to find swimwear that actually fits a larger bust. But after looking at their size range, I was honestly shocked. Their sizing only goes up to a D cup. A D cup is not considered large for many of us with fuller chests--it's a pretty standard size. So how exactly is this "coverage, support, and styles that keep up with big boobs" if you're excluding the very people you're claiming to support? It feels misleading and honestly a bit performative. If you're going to market yourself as inclusive and for "all boob-kind," then back it up with sizing that actually reflects that. There's a huge community of people who wear DD, DDD, E, F and beyond who are constantly left out of the conversation--and it's frustrating to see yet another brand jump on the body-positive messaging without actually following through. Would love to see this brand expand their sizing and actually deliver on the promises they're making.

They usually offer you bottled water. Parking can be a hastle so if you can't find a space, or don't want to pay, just park in the public lot in front of The Container Store on 1st Ave. and walk the 1/2 block.

I'm glad I did as the associate recommended getting the slightly looser size in case I wanted to layer . Wearing a 5lb raincoat saturated with water is insane. Fast forward to today. I'm waterproofing some other clothing items and think to myself that it may be a solution for the jacket. If I could make my soft shells more water durable, maybe I could do the same for the outside of the jacket? No shot. After a delicate cold machine tech wash, I pull the jacket out and the inner liner is destroyed and coming apart (image attached). This was the first and only wash I've done on this jacket. Followed the care instructions and took even more care of it than labeled. So disappointed in the jacket and the brand. I've submitted a warranty claim on their site so we'll see what happens. Will update the review. *it's a little hard to tell the condition of the inner liner with a photo, but this jacket is unusable now. The neck area is the worst but the inner liner as a whole is compromised.

They told me to give them a couple of days on the design for the new bracelet for my approval. When I received their ideas, it was exactly what I wanted. A week later my bangle and my bracelet were shortened perfectly. Two weeks later my cross bracelet arrived. Unfortunately, I damaged the clasp the first week. The damage was completely due to MY misuse. Not their skill. (I am EXTREMELY HARD ON JEWELRY) We took it back in to be repaired. I just picked it up. They put on a heavy duty clasp at my request. It wasn't necessarily an ideal walk front eh train, but definitely manageable. This shop is always packed with cool stuff - in this newer location they have much more space and Heaven more great stuff. New and used, they have lots to look at. I was definitely impressed with the guitar pedals that they keep in stock. Really appreciate the ability to check out some uncommon stuff that I have been interested in potentially adding to my pedal board. The folks here are always friendly and obviously love talking about music equipment as much as I do. Definitly A+ for Flipside Music shop!

Terrible service. Took my bike in on Saturday, they said it would be ready Wednesday or Thursday. Call Thursday and they said it would be ready Friday and hadn't even been started. Called Friday afternoon and they had an even touched it still. Called Monday afternoon and they still hadn't touched it. Don't get why it takes so many follow ups to get them to do the work. Bike Source was absolutely great! Jack was super helpful and knowledgeable, and he helped me pick the best bike and size based on what type of riding I was wanting to do. They helped me find a new bike after having my first one stolen, and the entire process was smooth. Annoyed by the request, he asks me to bring the bike inside to take a look. While I know this may be the way to inspect a bike, I am carrying my two year old son, so I am not going to ask someone to watch him, nor let him roam, while I unhook the trailer and wheel my e-bike into the store. Anyways, he does come outside and seems to quickly turn more annoyed that I do not know the size of my tires or what the exact issue is. He curtly says I'd have to leave my bike with him as he can't do anything about it right now, plus he sprinkles in a mention of a $40 charge for work on an e-bike not purchased there. I clearly didn't have the means to leave my bike right then and there so I said nevermind, and asked if they had any suggestions for a quick fix in the meantime. "Nope" was the response I got. Great...thanks... By the way, there is a quick fix. Slime or FlatOut are pretty cheap products at ACE or Walmart to fix even a flat e-bike fat tire. I'd be shocked to find out this employee wasn't aware of that product. Even if it is just a temporary solution or not. Regardless of the lack of welcoming feeling, I thank you for making me look this up myself so that I could save money and won't need to return to this shop again.

We purchased Trek bikes in the past from Mike's Bikes, which used to be a Trek dealer, and we…read morebought these e-bikes from Trek in Austin back in 2021, but over time and a move, the bikes really needed a tune-up. My husband's brakes were rubbing and squealing badly, and my bike gears would slip occasionally. We pulled up to Mike's and noticed that they didn't list Trek on the door, so we called and verified that they were no longer a Trek dealer. Because of the ongoing issues that haven't been addressed correctly by other shops, we decided to take the bikes to Trek in Highlands Ranch for their Trek e-bike expertise. (I should add that we have other bikes that aren't Trek, and we will bring those back to Mike's because they've been good to us for over a decade, and they are also very knowledgeable). When we first went into the shop part of the store, we were met by a really nice young guy working the counter. At first we thought he might have been retail, but as soon as he started telling us all about our bikes, educating me about the shocks and even a clutch I didn't know existed, he listened to our concerns and knew exactly what needed to be done. I was blown away. They told us it might take a week or so to get them back, so we were pleased when we got the call this morning to come pick them up after only a couple days. We had taken our bikes to two different shops three different times in Summit County, but the issues were never fully addressed. My husband said he was going to "immediately go on a ten-mile ride in Denver" before we came back up the mountain to ensure that the bikes were fixed, but he had so much confidence in the Trek shop that he decided to forgo a ride and just come back to Silverthorne. He just returned from a ride and said "it feels like a brand new bike!" He asked me if I would write a quick review to compliment the folks at Trek for doing such a GREAT JOB. Thanks so much!

Each time, Clay told me he would get to them soon. I wasn't in a rush, as I was in the process of painting the frame and gathering other parts, so I was patient. Eventually, I returned to the shop only to find it permanently closed. After some effort, I located Clay through Facebook. His only response to me was that he "doesn't have any wheels here," with no further explanation or follow-up. Since then, I have received no responses despite multiple attempts to contact him, including through mutual connections. At this point, my original wheels and bottom bracket have not been returned, and I have been given no clear answers. I find this situation extremely upsetting and unprofessional. Bought a new Giant hybrid/commuter bike from them and have been VERY happy. They also have high end bikes, e-bikes and cargo bikes. Unlike a lot of other Denver bike shops - no attitude. If you are looking for a modestly priced bike they won't try and upsell you or make you feel bad that you are not spending $2k on a bike. And they are dealing safely with COVID - only one person/family at a time allowed in the shop
