Adventure Cycling is an outstanding local shop, and I'm grateful to live close by. I've purchased three bikes from Eric and his team, and every experience has been excellent. They're consistently helpful whenever my bike needs work, always professional, and always willing to take the time to make sure things are done right. read more

Disappointing experience. My e-bike got a flat while riding with my son in the trailer. I know it's not the best area but I was hoping to grab an employee to take a look at the bike and see what quick options I had. I am not sure which employee it was but he approached me and I asked if he could walk outside with me to take a look at the flat. Annoyed by the request, he asks me to bring the bike inside to take a look. While I know this may be the way to inspect a bike, I am carrying my two year old son, so I am not going to ask someone to watch him, nor let him roam, while I unhook the trailer and wheel my e-bike into the store. Anyways, he does come outside and seems to quickly turn more annoyed that I do not know the size of my tires or what the exact issue is. He curtly says I'd have to leave my bike with him as he can't do anything about it right now, plus he sprinkles in a mention of a $40 charge for work on an e-bike not purchased there. I clearly didn't have the means to leave my bike right then and there so I said nevermind, and asked if they had any suggestions for a quick fix in the meantime. "Nope" was the response I got. Great...thanks... By the way, there is a quick fix. Slime or FlatOut are pretty cheap products at ACE or Walmart to fix even a flat e-bike fat tire. I'd be shocked to find out this employee wasn't aware of that product. Even if it is just a temporary solution or not. Regardless of the lack of welcoming feeling, I thank you for making me look this up myself so that I could save money and won't need to return to this shop again. read more

Rude, condescending per above. The two techs tried to run off new business they were soooo busy. They act like they're rocket scientists ;). They had my e-bike for 2 weeks to replace broken brake handle. I had parts from Jasion. Turns out the rude guy pretended to be tech who worked on bike. Actual Tech was Super polite and friendly when picked up bike. As I was leaving I said "Brad " needs to work on his customer service. HE SAID IM Brad. The rude white guy pretended to b the nice polite Hispanic tech who did the work !! Crazy, his own coworker was driving business away while pretending to be poor guy who did actual work. Sounds like the owner is gonna hear some bitching from real tech about fake guy. Lyin Brian should b fired immediately; that's just not cool to pretend to be a tech and super rude. Tall white haired asshole who looks like he's gonna keel over of heart attack any minute. Update: They charged 75 to replace brake handle that is now loose and needs further repair. Also got a flat mysteriously while in their possession and they charged another 50 to fix that. Pitiful they don't answer phone and no v mail. Not much of a business I chose bc they were close. Also no way they are getting 4.5 reviews gotta have fake reviews. read more

I needed my tire looked at as I knew something was wrong with it but couldn't figure it out myself. When I got there Erik took my bike back right away and had it fixed in less than 10 minutes! Explained what the problem was, and was so helpful and nice! This is my 2nd time coming here leaving with a great experience. read more

they don't know what they are talking about and they are supper rude and they get when you ask questions not reliable at all

I put together a new bike for my grandson but the gears didn't appear to be working. I brought the bike to Adventure Cycling and he went over the bike, fixed my mistakes, adjusted the gears, and fixed a brake cable. He didn't charge me for his work and wouldn't accept a tip. If I need anything from a bicycle shop I will definitely return here. Please pass this on snd make sure you use this shop. Fantastic experience read more

My partner ordered a bike online and we ran into a small issue putting it together and took it to Adventure cycling to have them complete the job and do a safety check. We called Friday morning, they had me bring it right in even though they were closing early for the July 4th holiday! The team is so kind and informative. The cost was very reasonable and the service was more than worth the charge; so much so I left a tip. Super fun team!! This is now my new go to for all my biking needs! read more

Took my mountain bike in about a week ago to get tuned up. I hadn't ridden it in six years as it was stored in my garage in CA (too dangerous to ride in the narrow streets with many speeders). Picked my bike up today and it works like a brand new stallion! It now shifts quickly, easily, and more quietly. Oh, and now my amber stallion can stop on a dime! I had both tubes replaced so that a sealant could be added to both tubes (former stems wouldn't allow sealant). As an added bonus, they washed my bike too. Everyone at Adventure Cycling was professional, knowledgeable, and nice. I'm glad this shop is in my neighborhood! read more

These guys know what they are doing. Excellent customer service. I walked in to get my new bike to be trimmed for my size. However, Eric wanted the job done right and decided to call a 3rd party to help me fitted before making any cuts. Not only he recommended someone, he called the shop to have someone contact me. Way to go. A bit out of my way but I plan to take all of my future serviced to them. read more

to be honest, I'm speechless! I just purchased a bike, brought it in to adventure cycles to have it tuned up, on a Saturday, super busy! And Eric fix my bike also set the suspension for my weight! I will drive from Castle rock to Aurora for any of my bike needs even purchases in the future. Words cannot describe and reviews are just not good enough to tell you how impressed I am with Eric's customer service, world class! Thank you sir!! read more

Awesome local bike shop! I took my bike in because it was creaking pretty badly around the crank area. Ryan fixed it up right away and even walked me through what he did and what he recommends going forward. He is a superstar! Thanks, Ryan! read more

I haven't ridden bikes for 40 years, but my boys both enjoy their Specialized bikes - which we've bought used. Disclaimer ;-) We are a retailer of folding bikes. We had a customer with some concerns with their bike. We reached out to Adventure Cycling to see if they could help us resolve our customer's concerns. Erik and his team went above and beyond. Courteous, timely and left the customer feeling happy. Some shops run a "business" and that is perfectly fine. Other shops are ambassadors to the sport: They care more about the rider. They are there to help you ride, no matter what you ride. I have a 20 year old Raleigh mountain bike and the last time I had it serviced was 6 years ago by Adventure cycling, they were very professional, explained my options and I was given a very reasonably priced estimate. I recently needed the bottom bearings replaced on the same Raleigh so I took it back to Adventure cycling and it was repaired excellently and the final bill was a lot less than I'd expected. I will definitely recommend adventure cycling to all my friends and I absolutely will be back if I need service, or any cycling gear. I would give Adventure cycling the highest rating possible. Thanks for the great service and experience of the tech's working on bike in the shop! Charlie Lennon 7/17/21 read more

I can't say enough good things about the owner of this bike store. The contrast between how he and a "corporate" store operates is astounding. I am a Goldilocks kind of guy. I like things just right. From the time I entered the store to the time I left with my bike tuned, cleaned, and ready to roll, everything was just right. The next time I need a tune-up, this is where I will go. read more

The staff here are friendly and helpful. I have stopped by here several times over the years and they have always gone out of their way to help and give advice. They have always been honest with me on products and even directed me to cheaper alternatives from other vendors that they did not carry that met my needs. read more

These guys are great. had taken my bike twice for minor repair and they did it for free. Thank you so much!

Very friendly and accommodating, turned around a simple mechanical repair quickly and for less the half the price I've seen advertised at some of the other shops around here. Cool shop, too - lots of eye candy to drool over while waiting for my bike to be retrieved from the back. Will definitely return! read more

Just another, half knowledgeable crook. Knows little about bikes yet upsell upsell upsell. The owner is a real pos. Not even a decent salesman. Certainly not a good businessman. read more

Saturday morning ride. Rear derailleur slipping and I happened to be riding in the Cherry Creek Reservoir so I stop in to see if I can get some info about getting the bike in. Super busy in the store but a mechanic says, "I'll look at right now." Another employee tells me to get a chilled bottle of water from the cooler while I am waiting! Fifteen minutes later, he says, "I cleaned and lubricated the chain, fixed the tension on the cables, fixed a bent something, adjusted the derailleur. Take it out to see if it's OK." I tell him I don't have money with me, and he says, "That's ok, just stop by sometime. It's only $20." Love this place. read more

Fair pricing and they did a great job tuning up my bike. I finally get to ride again!

Due to mobility issues, I've recently gotten a tricycle to ride around with my dogs at the Cherry Creek Dog Off-Leash Area, aka, The Puppy Park! We have to fold up the trike and remove the handlebars to get it in the back of the RAV4. It's a bit of a pain, but totally worth it. One day, the trike started slipping out of first gear, forcing me to hold the lever with my thumb to keep it from slipping. Since Adventure Cycling had just put new brakes on my two-wheeler, I took the trike to them to see if they could figure out what was wrong. Erik immediately diagnosed the problem: we had apparently damaged the shifter in the process of moving the trike in and out of the car. I now have a better shifter with a lower profile - less likely to get damaged! Erik also fixed the annoying sound coming from the back wheel, adjusted the hand brake, and secured the cables so they won't get tangled so easily when removing and replacing the handlebars - all at an unbelievably low price! What excellent customer service! And Hazel the Dog is cute, too:) read more

My only regret it not finding this bike shop earlier. I've Serviced both mountain and road bikes here and they always do an excellent job. The thing I most appreciate is that they don't try to sell me on repairs or items I don't need and are very reasonable with their costs. I'm glad I found a shop I can trust and hope to keep going back for years to come. Update 3/25/2020 - still plan on taking my road bike and MTB here, need another shop for my e-bike, they would prefer not to mess with it. read more

My review of Adventure Cycling is way overdue. I have been a patron of this shop for well over a year. As a little backstory, I was an aspiring cyclist in my high school and early college years. Things happen, such as life, and I find myself as a Clydesdale in my 40's. I embraced the thought of getting back into it and sucked it up to go bike shopping. Knowing a thing or two about cycling, I walked into Adventure cycling with my "guns loaded" and ready to be judged. I was absolutely proven wrong. I walked in there and had absolutely nothing to prove to anybody who worked there. They listened to my desires and needs and set me up with a bike that I absolutely love, even after 2,000 miles on it in two years. I haven't even changed the saddle on it yet (maybe soon though!). Regardless, Erik and his team have made sure that my bike fit is correct and everything is running smoothly. In summary, I would endorse this local bike shop to anyone I come across. They will suit anyone's needs, whether it is a beginner or an expert cyclist. Most of all, the will do it all supportively without judgment that is encountered in many bike shops. I have been through the gauntlet of pronouncing bicycle names right in French, Adventure Cycling cares more about getting you on a bike that fits your needs and educating you. Please, step in their doors and experience it for yourself. You will not regret it! read more

Been dealing with the good folks at Adventure for years. Owner is a proud Army vet and flies the blue line flag to honor his good friend Bill who was an officer in Aurora who died years ago. Great service, knowledgeable staff, great repair service and run a great shop ride on Saturday. Erik and the entire staff at Adventure are fantastic, knowledgeable and super friendly. This is the only place I will take my bikes.

I guess I was there at wrong time. I was recommended here by my neighbor. I was there yesterday . I wanted to replace the tires on my wife's and my bike. Also wanted to replace my helmet. They only had one customer that was being helped by a cashier. I stood there holding my two wheels and helmet 15-20 minutes. Other then the lady doing a purchase i was the only other customer. There was a worker that kept answering the phone even though i was by the counter before the three calls he answered. So I left, went to Bicycle Village. Bought four tires, a new helmet, new shoes and new gloves for my daughter. I got fantastic service there. Too bad , I really wanted to shop here but just couldn't wait anymore. read more
