Update: the bike shop doesn't have the balls to reply in public, but they have no problem continuing their aggressive insulting behavior in private messages. The owner, Russel H Griffin, sent me this response via private message on Yelp. "Colin, In your post you defined yourself as a mechanic. So obviously you know what you needed for your friends bike. My experience with hipster bikes is that the brakes suck and I didn't want you to spend any more money you cheap piece of shit! If you ever want to talk about it in person I am total willing to. Your keyboard is obviously the way for you to feel like a man. Step up bitch you smart ass piece of shit!"

Worst ever. Need simple bearing replacement. Took 4 days. Got it back. They said they replaced it. They didn't replace it, rode bike 1 time. Bearing locked up. Told us that they didn't want to deal with us because we were angry they lied. Told me to go somewhere else. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Run away!

I was in town and wanted a bike to rent. Not only did they have Roubaixs available, but the shop pointed me in the direction of Lookout Mountain and a great loop. It was great.

Be a good neighbor and stop blocking the sidewalk. This is not your dock.

Your business consistently acts as a bad neighbor and blocks the sidewalk. You left this outside Saturday and your business was closed Sunday and Monday. This is unacceptable. Clean up after yourself.

I am not sure which employee it was but he approached me and I asked if he could walk outside with me to take a look at the flat. Annoyed by the request, he asks me to bring the bike inside to take a look. While I know this may be the way to inspect a bike, I am carrying my two year old son, so I am not going to ask someone to watch him, nor let him roam, while I unhook the trailer and wheel my e-bike into the store. Anyways, he does come outside and seems to quickly turn more annoyed that I do not know the size of my tires or what the exact issue is. He curtly says I'd have to leave my bike with him as he can't do anything about it right now, plus he sprinkles in a mention of a $40 charge for work on an e-bike not purchased there. I clearly didn't have the means to leave my bike right then and there so I said nevermind, and asked if they had any suggestions for a quick fix in the meantime. "Nope" was the response I got. Great...thanks... By the way, there is a quick fix. Slime or FlatOut are pretty cheap products at ACE or Walmart to fix even a flat e-bike fat tire. I'd be shocked to find out this employee wasn't aware of that product. Even if it is just a temporary solution or not. Regardless of the lack of welcoming feeling, I thank you for making me look this up myself so that I could save money and won't need to return to this shop again.

I heard about this store over a year ago, but as I wasn't interested in triathlons, I never stopped…read morein. Fast forward to this year and suddenly I am training for a triathlon and needed all sorts of gear. Tris require triple the gear, so lots of $$ go out for this sport. As I was nearing my date for my triathlon, I knew I needed to get a trisuit to practice in for my triathlon. I'd looked online and had an idea of prices, as well as tried some on at REI and Runner's Roost. However, trisuits are made for stick thin women, of which I am not, so I was in need of larger sizes. A sales person at Athleta sent me to TriBella, as she noted they had a great selection. I drove to TriBella and realized it was just across the street from my favorite, Rooster & Moon. Found parking and wandered inside. On that Saturday, they'd just hosted their own sprint triathlon and they opened a little later, but they were open. I found the sale/clearance rack (which means I'm in heaven) and found lots of sizes. Everything on the clearance rack was 50% off, which included running, swim, cycle gear and trisuits and tri kits. I tried on several suits and found one that I really liked. Decided to buy it along with a pair of workout shorts and some other stuff. The service was super friendly and helpful. I've since gone back a few more times, purchased a second tri kit, signed up for their mailing list to attend other events, as well as browse about. In addition to workout wear for all three disciplines, they are a full-service bike shop and sell different bars, gus, gels, etc. Basically anything you need to swim, bike or run, it can be found at TriBella. Which means, I'm in heaven. :-)

I recently moved to Denver and have been searching for wide road cycling shoes. After doing some…read moreresearch, I decided that Lake cycling shoes could be a good option. While browsing the Lake Cycling website, I was directed, based on my zip code, to Tri Bella as a recommended retailer. When I arrived, the front door didn't open, so I had to use a side entrance, which led directly into the mechanic area. I stood there unsure if I should walk further in or wait. After a while, one of the mechanics (a tall guy) asked what I needed. I explained I was looking for wide road cycling shoes, and he suggested the Lake brand. I said that sounded great and asked if I could see some in person. He told me they didn't have any in stock but could order them. I explained that I preferred to try them on before purchasing especially since I could easily order them online myself, and the Lake website already provides detailed information. At that point, another mechanic, who had been listening to the conversation, chimed in and said, "Maybe Lake shoes are not for you." That comment, combined with the confusing entrance and overall unwelcoming experience, made for a very poor first impression. As someone who owns several bikes and is passionate about cycling, I expected a more helpful and professional approach. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won't be returning.
