They sell and service high end / serious bikes. I've used them about 25 times for service over 10 years. They're super nice, sincere people. They provide excellent customer service, and expert repair. The prices are a bit cheaper than other expert shops, and their turnaround is faster. Called two other shops closer to my home before calling nice bike. Simply needed a new tube and brake pads, and installation of both. Both of the other places quoted me $50 for parts and labor, which sounded far too high. Nice Bike quoted me right around $30 and held true on the quote. Service was quick and the store is very cool. On broadway but not facing the street, kind of in a back alley, which I loved. It was quiet and airy in the store. The installation took all of 10 minutes, and the owners (David and his wife) were super friendly and knowledgeable. It was time for an upgrade in my bike. I had my heart set on a Colnago based on a trusted cycling friend. After looking up dealers on the Colnago site, I realized that Nice Bike is only a mile from my home and I drive past them at least 10 times a week. I was a bit hesitant to go in to Nice Bike (and many other bike shops) because it appeared they only sold custom build bikes above my level (and price range). (This middle aged wanna be hard core cyclist was a bit intimidated). Any worries I had faded immediately after meeting David and Sasha at this small ally facing shop. I told him about my interests and goals (and price range) and talked about the stock Colnago bike I was interested in. Long story short, my stock Colnago was not available. I was disappointed for about 2 seconds before David proposed his custom build on a previous year model with the same frame that allowed me to stay in my budget range but get a LOT MORE bike. David also included a meticulous bike fitting and a great education on my new high tech bike components. I have a serious bike now but I can't stop smiling when I'm riding. If you're wondering how a small bike shop can provide efficient service, don't worry. I've been in the shop while a stream of customers have come in for service (flat tires, etc) and I've never seen a bike shop turn around service so quick. After my great experience, my husband is going to get a bike fit with David and I've already recommended Nice Bike to a few others that mentioned they were looking for custom bike fits. We are lucky to live in the Denver area where we have the luxury of having so many great bike shops, so it's hard to go wrong. Dave did an amazing job upgrading my bike from worn out Campy Chorus to the new Record 12. It has been hard for me find a LBS that knows how to tune/fix Campy, but I finally found my solution. In addition, Dave made some adjustments to my bike that have made it better than the day I purchased it 8 years ago. I called about an early am bike fitting appointment, and Dave and Sasha were so accommodating about fitting me in prior to the store's opening hours. When I arrived, I was immediately at ease with David who stepped through the whole fitting in under an hour, explaining everything along the way. He helped get me set up with a new MTB fit (shoes, pedals) for my road bike, and didn't make me feel like a complete rookie for doing so. An excellent experience! First time visiting Nice Bike but they will be my go-to bike repair store in Denver from now on. I had just bought a used bike which had a broken rear cassette. I took the bike to three other places, none of which could help me. One place even offered to put on a six ringed cassette and charge me $30 to do so (I needed a seven ring cassette). Another place said it would take them up to two weeks to do the repair. Thankfully I kept shopping around and found nice bike! David the really looked after me and only charge me five dollars to replace the cassette. Took him literally minutes to and I am extremely grateful for it as it meant I could take my wife and daughter out on a first bike ride later. would definitely recommend their services again! read more

I'm no poet so read Lesley's review; she is correct and much better with words than I. This place rocks. The owners rock. The dogs rock...and lick a lot. I stop in frequently...sort of my "cheers" place. While they do a lot of road bikes I take my mountain bike (ibis) in all the time and give David a change of pace. Its always done right. He gets my bike before I go on my Moab/Fruita trips so I do not trust that job to just anyone. Who wants to go to Moab and have a repair fail! I'd give 7 stars if I could or at least the golden buzzer for this shop and the owners if I could! read more

Great shop! I just moved to Denver from Chicago and was looking for a new shop for gear, parts, service, etc and stumbled across this place online so I thought I would try it out. The guys in the shop are very friendly and definitely avid cyclists. Took care of some minor service right away and helped me pick out some additional items I needed. Had a fabulous experience with Nice Bike. They came recommended by a friend, and so when I decided it was time to dust off my ole bike after a year in prenatal dormancy, I rolled on over there for a sprucing. The guys were so welcoming, knowledgable, and helpful, and the customer service was fabulous. I've been to a LOT of bike shops over the last 20 years, these guys are definitely in the top three. I had a flat tire while riding and stopped to get it fixed. They went to put a tube in, and uncovered that the rim strip had slipped and exposed the sharp edge of a spoke hole and fixed that first. I probably would have put the new tube in and got a second flat. Very friendly, great attention to detail, and they let me pay with PayPal since I didn't have any cash with me. I won a bike tune up at a charity auction event. Although this place wasn't exceptionally close to my house, I am glad I brought my bike there. Todd worked on my bike and he did a great job. I had a tire with a hole in the side that I hadn't noticed and they replaced it with a barely used tire, same model and size, and threw it in for free as part of the "tune up" that I had won in the auction. Everyone there was friendly and they were very knowledgeable about bikes. read more
