So all I had when I came here was the wings and fries. I was not disappointed. The wings were crispy and super saucy! Wings are my fav dish and these were amazing. The fries were so good. Double battered and flavorful. Perfect. Would come back to try more! read more

I do not recommend going to this place. Burger patty tasted frozen and flavorless. 1 star for the giant big screen and good fries but that is all they get. Service was horrible. Anyone I asked anything too had an attitude and looked like they hated their job. We were watching the Astros game, asked for our bill in the 7th inning.. the game ended and still nothing. The waitress finally came by and asked if we were ok, uh no still waiting on the bill. Then she takes another what felt like forever maybe 15 min before she brought our change. It was just the worst experience. *I see the "owner" replied with a generic message addressing the service. No apology needed. There are plenty of other places with better food for half the price read more

Today was me an my lady's 1 year anniversary, and our first date was at an Astros game so we decided to go to Biggio's to spend the end our night, mainly because the Astros were out of town. We had an absolutely amazing time, largely due to the awesome service and personalization of our night from the bartender ERIC. We were very pleased with the attentiveness and personality from Eric and we will definitely be back not only for anniversaries. Thank you so much for a wonderful time that we will always remember. THANK YOU! GO ASTROS!! read more

Hands down, I was " parfaite" !! My seating outside on a nice cloudy weather. The Brown Convention was busy with an event and I had the front view to experience that. To top it off, the vibe from when I entered to Valeria, my AMAZING WAITRESS took reaaallllyy GREAT of me! Im In Love with the City! Thanks Biggio's staff-upstairs! read more

We came here for dinner because we were staying at the Marriott Marque. The good was mediocre at best. I would not recommend it. The green chili queso was just queso with a jalapeño on the side and when we asked if that was the right dish the waiter said yes. The burger was dry and over seasoned with salt. Spend your money somewhere else. read more

This is by far the coolest bar in downtown. The food was so great and the drinks were on point. Everything was expensive, but you really get what you pay for. I came here with friends and we had a blast. The atmosphere was pretty cool and our entrees really hit the spot. Did I mention that the drinks were on point? read more

I dined here Monday 2/13 I'm from out of town first time in Texas and first time at Biggio's it was recommended by an Uber driver. If I could give more stars I would! John was our sever and he made our night! He was beyond polite, best server I seriously have ever had! We are back in town next month and we will definitely be back and requesting him! Thank you for an awesome experience! Food is immaculate! read more

Happy that the restaurant is open in the hotel. Food is typical bar food but was tasty. Server left a bit to be desired...incredibly SLOW...and it's just not that busy so not sure if he's having an off night or it's something else. read more

Visited during a convention for my sorority because everything else had loooong wait times. Nice location. I like the idea of the personal rooms where a party can just go in and enjoy themselves without having to worry about being in the way of others. Food was decent, had sliders in mind but there is a limited menu on game days so be prepared for that. No biggie though. read more

Good experience for lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was not crowded. We chose to sit at the bar and were well attended to by the two bartenders. The crispy chicken sliders were super tasty (the extremely fresh Hawaiian slider rolls really made the sandwich) as was black bean and quinoa burger (albeit a little hard to eat, could have used some egg to hold it all together). With two beers, our total was a little over $40 which is about what I expect in a convention hotel restaurant. Having now been here twice, Biggio's isn't something I'd probably hunt down but the food and service were on point during both visits and I would absolutely return the next time we are at the Marquis. For those at the pool, Biggio's has a much more extensive menu (including more vegetarian choices) than the pool restaurant. read more

I liked the place. We went with a group of friends for drinks and appetizers. The place is divided into two areas, one is an "L" shaped bar with some tables at the end. Quite spacious. Screen TVs all over the place with a humongous screen at the end of the bar.The second area has comfortable sofas with a table in the middle for the drinks and food. The bartender made a mistake with our margaritas because the triple sec was the dominant flavor on that drink. We commented that to our waiter and the problem was resolved very elegantly by the manager. We were very satisfied with their recommendation. Service was a bit slow and sometimes our drink order took more than 15 minutes to get to our table, and I was having a draft beer. A given, place was packed with customers. Food was notoriously good. My daughter a hardcore vegan had a black bean burger and we come back the next day just for that. read more

Biggio's is a place that everyone should experience at least once. I've been here a couple of times now and enjoyed both visits. Watching a game here is definitely a good experience. There are TVs everywhere, especially two giant screens. The upstairs portion is not always open , but during games they will open it up allowing you to enjoy the experience from tables or couches. The service can sometimes be a little slow but the food tastes great and there are a lot of options. read more

The food was mostly good but hit and miss. The salsa was as thin as water and bad. I had the pulled pork sandwich and fries which was really good. The service was terrible. It was probably 10 minutes between being sat and the server showing up to get drunk orders. This is my 5 or 6th time here and the service has been bad every time. If you haven't been here and making your first visit don't except Astor and Biggio memorabilia everywhere. This place is a solid 3 stars. read more

Couches and a nice large place. Food was just ehhh. My kid liked the ketchup, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about the food. read more

It's decent. I think it might do ok because of the location, being very close to the stadium and having a captive audience from those that work downtown. But as far as attracting diners that are looking for good food. Not really. It's a nice setup, with TV's along the very long bar area. Service is pretty good. The food is very generic. Ordered chips and salsa. The chips tasted a little stale. My grilled chicken salad was very large, as it should be fore a hefty price point, but very lack luster from a taste perspective. read more

I went to Biggio's for the first time a couple days before Christmas and was very disappointed. The restaurant itself is cool - good place to watch a game and to drink. Several TVs near the bar and 2 huge projectors in the dining area. They have a pretty good beer menu. I'd say the food menu is basically upscale ballpark food. I took off one star because when my mother and I walked in, nobody greeted us. The hostess was chatting with the bartender and was scrolling through her phone. Not off to a good start. After we sat down, we ordered beers and water with lemon. Our waitress forgot to bring the lemon. No biggie. We then reminded her about the lemons, and she brought them out on a wet napkin and placed it on the table. Our waitress was nice, but not professional. Second star gone. Not sure if it was short staffed in the kitchen that night, but the food was bland and cool/warm. The fries were delicious, but the filet mignon sandwich and the BBQ sandwich were both dry and flavorless. At $14 and $22 for a sandwich, I expected more flavor and for it to be hot. This is where I took off the 3rd star. Very disappointed. read more

This is always a must go when we visit Houston for our yearly Astros "lets see how many games we can watch in 2 weeks". We love the sports atmosphere, can always find something to root for and get excited about. The waitstaff are friendly and the food is pretty good. I normally get the cob salad and it's gorgeous. My husband loves the dirty dog and chicken and waffles. I will say we are huge Biggio fans and couldn't resist a try. So worth it. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. We came here to celebrate a birthday. We were a large party, however we tried to go early to beat any rush and arrived at 5pm, the restaurant was empty. Currently it is 7:03 and our food never arrived for the adults (5 of us). The kids meals arrived and as ordered (8 kids). When we asked for the manager, Mikala, she told us the food had already been delivered. To our surprise and an empty table of no food in front of us, explained that was farther from the truth and someone obviously was covering their tails. We had in fact not received our food. They did try to deliver food at one point that we had not ordered, which would have been incomplete by 3 adult meals regardless. One of our meals was ordered as gluten free, when he tried to deliver the wrong item, she said it was suppose to be on a gluten free bun. Waiter says oh you ordered gluten free...ummmm yep sure did you actually took the order! Anyways back to Mikala the manager. I asked her to comp my parking because I was literally there to celebrate a birthday and because I never even got to eat, thought they should at least do that, After all Xiochi does (found out later they have their own Valet..ok). She said she couldn't because it's a third party and they are associated with Marriott. Ok no problem, I'll take it up with Marriott whose manager was amazing BTW! Mikala proceeded to tell me she comp'd all the adult meals instead...oh like the ones we didn't even get?? Not sure that's how this works for comping people. Long story short, they didn't comp one single item we did receive which was apps and kid meals and adult drinks. Had to go to the bar for 2 of our drinks, because it took 20 min when we first sat down to even get a waiter. Anyways never will return. Too many good restaurants in the area to deal with this kind of food or customer service. Think twice before coming. read more

Eric M. was very rude when we were asking questions in regards the menu. When asked about what comes on certain items he told our party "I will say this once and only one time" and didn't go over the menu items. Please get better servers and bartenders that have a positive attitude. read more

If I was evaluating Biggio's strictly on food, I'd give it 5 stars. The chicken and waffles are so good as are the wings. Good ranch dressing. I knocked down the stars due to service issues associated with hosting large events like the Astros in the World Series. There seemed to be a breakdown in communication between management, hostesses and servers. I will say, one of the managers did give us a complimentary round of drinks which was very nice. After it appeared we wouldn't get a table for 6 we opted for the recliners with minimum spend of $150 each (With the mark up here, that should be no problem). Servers were allowing parties to switch tables when more people would arrive (they don't seat incomplete parties) but that wasn't communicated downstairs. Servers also promised the premium chairs for free which made it awkward when we came upstairs. The bright spot was Donald. Considering how many people he was serving he was fantastic. You should really consider serving simple foods in the bar area. Chips and queso take little to no prep time. read more

Been planning a trip to go here all week with family, checked out the menu all week we all knew what we wanted and we get there and the waitress told us they only had a "limited" menu???? We were so disappointed..... all the items we had wanted were not available!! We must of all looked extremely sad and we actually were fixing to pay for drinks and leave but then the waitress... Lauren.. appears with a regular menu and says ok just for you and all of a sudden the skies cleared and all was right in the world. We got to order the B.G.O., the steak skewers, the Bison MAC n Cheese ... had chips and salsa for appetizer... everything was delicious! There was 6 of us and we all so enjoyed that meal and got to watch the Astros beat Boston!! Thank you! Thank you ! Thank you Lauren for not ruining our day. We will be back! read more

I have been trying to schedule a private party for weeks now. I have left multiple messages and sent multiple e-mails (over six each). I have yet to get a call back from the sales manager. I have to assume that they don't want our business . Aside from that being bad business it's just plain courtesy to call someone back , especially after being contacted over 12 times in a two week period. If this is an indication of the service received we probably don't want to eat there anyway, but a courtesy call would have been polite . read more

WOW. That's all we were saying all night. Food, incredible. Service, incredible. Atmosphere, INCREDIBLE. After reading all the reviews I was a little scared about our time here but they couldn't have been more wrong. We came in expecting some ballpark food and were blown away. Best soft pretzel I've ever had, the loaded nachos are to die for, the burger, hot dogs (American & dirty), and fish tacos were mouth watering. Bloody Mary's here are a must. Carlos was our server and he did amazing, the host was so sweet and genuinely excited to serve us. She asked so many questions and made us feel right at home. If I could give more stars I would. Great servers and drinks. Plenty of TV screens all around and VERY comfortable leather recliners in the back room. If you are looking for a classy sports bar, this is the place. They even have an exterior door that opens to the street, so you do not have to fight the hotel crowd to enjoy this place. It is just steps away from the Convention Center. read more

The food here is pretty good. it's expensive for what you get, but that comes with being in the Marriott off of the convention center. The BGO is two mini steak sandwiches on english muffins topped with onion straws and served on a plank for $22 with a side of chips. The muffins need to be toasted longer so they don't fall apart. Can I start a mini-rant about serving food on planks? Sure, it looks cool when it gets set on the table. But it's too narrow to contain the food so you end up with onion straws and everything else all over the table. Hey chef, try actually eating one of these and come back and tell us if you still think you picked the right plate. The quinoa burger is more successful, slathered with a good amount of guacamole. You can start out your meal with chips & salsa or chips & queso. But you can't get both salsa and queso without ordering two plates of chips at full price. You'd think that you could order a side of queso for the table, but you can't. The service is absolutely abysmal. It's not like they were picking on us, everyone in our section had empty glasses with a long wait between refills. In a sports bar there should never be an empty beer glass. If I were rating on the food alone this would be somewhere in the 3 to 4 star range. But it shouldn't take more than an hour to have lunch here, and it does. read more

The managers are super rude. The host is rude. This place sucks. We came to watch the NFL games and they wouldn't change the channel for us. We moved to a table to watch our game and they changed the channel for someone else. Go anywhere well. This place is trash. Employees arguing with customers. If I could leave a zero star review I would. Sunday funday was ruined because of this place. Never again! Food came out cold also. read more

This upscale sports bar in downtown Discovery Green is absolutely amazing. As a Houstonian I love to try different places and this one definitely exceeded my expectations. A little pricy but honestly worth every penny. I had the Pescado which is a Mahi Mahi fish wrapped with a cilantro creamy sauce.. it was delicious. My friend had the chicken and waffles and said it was the best he's had. I definitely recommend coming here if you are the downtown discovery green area.. not to mention their staff is so friendly, you could tell it was very upscale. 5 stars no doubt, go try this place. read more

Between the four of us, had Honey Chicken Sliders (4*) chicken was dry; Tex Mex Burger (4*), Chicken & Waffles (3*) chicken crust was perfect, chicken itself was dry, waffle didn't taste freshly made was kinda dense, the maple sirachi drizzle was heavy on the maple not enough kick for my taste; Mighty Sliders off Kids Menu (5*). We went for a snack the next day- loved the giant soft pretzel. Service again was terrific, so friendly. Great sports bar. Lots of fun. read more

I don't know if I've ever left a poor review before, however, here goes. Eric is garbage. He's arrogant, unprofessional, insolent and stupid. There is NOTHING WORSE THAN ARROGANT AND STUPID!! This cat found a way to be both... It's astounding. I stayed at the Marriott Marquis and every single bit of the stay was of the utmost professional and courteous. This guy almost ruined the entire trip. He was standing around (literally), not doing ANYTHING! And I had to say "excuse me" 5 times (and the last time I yelled it-mind you I was all but 5 feet away from this person!!! He wasn't in a conversation, he was a prick. Nice little corner hotel bar with plenty of beers on tap. Bartenders were super friendly. I knocked off a star because of the TVs. They were just plain silly. The main bar is basically a narrow hallway with bar seating and then a thin bar table along the back window. It's a hallway, yet they have GIGANTIC HUGE ENORMOUS TVs covering the entire wall 20 ft into the ceiling. You have to crane your neck to see them. No one was sitting at the bar watching the game because you have to stand up against the back window just to be able to see the silly TVs. One of the screens had to be at least 150 inches and you're sitting about 5 ft away from it, and the whole place is dark except the bright screen lights flashing in your face. An otherwise pretty nice bar and all I remember about it is the ridiculous screens. read more

Not sure why we went. Tried the bison chili fries, and the smoked brisket street tacos. Needless to say, the food experience was just okay... nothing to run home about. The location is great!
