My fiancé and I decided to give Biggio's a try this weekend. I was cautiously optimistic despite some of the reviews. We ordered the nachos which initially looked good however found something that should not have been on the plate. Sara ( I think that's their name) was the manager that came out, she was friendly and remedied the situation. Our experience with the front our house team was great but it seems their kitchen staff needs to get their act together. The waiter and the manager were kind and took good care of us which is the only reason for the stars. The food/kitchen staff needs training on attention to detail or Idk just not putting non-edible things in food read more

Would be great to watch a game. Football, baseball.... we just came to get food. The wings were bomb. The brisket tacos were a little dry. Drinks were good too. read more

The food is definitely a 5 but the service/set up is a 3.5...I know they are fairly new but if you are sitting next to a major convention center in the downtown of a major city, you will be busy!! The place is multi-level and beautiful. Lots of TVs and mixed seating. We bypassed the line for a table and were able to get two seats at the bar pretty quickly. The bar staff was hustling, but attentive as they could be. We ordered the Chicken & Waffles and Tex Mex burger. Both were amazing. The chicken was crispy and the waffles were well cooked. The syrup had a kick that elevated the dish. The burger was huge and the fries were amazing (this is coming from a person who is not a fry fan). This place has great potential and will do well! read more

Biggio's - Huge screens - Sports Bars Near Me - Houston, Texas

Came in before a Stros game on Saturday - since it's connected to the Marquis, the service is very welcoming. To my surprise there was not many people, always nice to see fans in Astros gear cause they'll be heading to the game and had the same idea you had lol. My fiancé is a huge Astros fan and got excited when we first heard about Craig Biggio opening a hang out spot. I ordered the chicken and waffles, it was yummy! So good that it filled me up (and I can eat a lot) and had to take 2 waffles home cause I couldn't finish it. My fiancé got the chicken burger and liked it. He also ordered the Bloody Mary and said its close to how he likes it to be made - so it's good. Kind of just wish there was more a selection on the menu! Also, if you love to watch sports while you eat there's lots and lots of tv's for your game watching pleasure. Just haven't been here when it's busy and not sure if I should as it's not very huge inside lol. read more

Biggio's - Chicken and waffles! Filling for sure & the chicken burger - Sports Bars Near Me - Houston, Texas

Came here twice on my trip to Houston. The Brisket Mac and Cheese was something to write home about. The chicken and waffles were good, too. Very sporty and convenient to get to the convention center from there! The atmosphere is really laid back. Great place to watch a sporting event! The service was friendly, but on the slow side. I tend to cut a little slack since Covid flipped the world, turned upside down, and lots of restaurants are struggling to navigate through the many changes that have happened. I'm just thankful they're open. read more

Great food, swanky location. The food was awesome! Highly recommend Biggio... cute place. Nice date night or just a night out with the girls! read more

Awesome bar to hangout and watch the games or grab a bite before you head over to Minute Maid park to watch the game. Clean, classy but get's very crowded. The menu is not on the cheap side and neither are the drinks so be prepared to spend a nice penny if you plan on relaxing for a while. Valet parking is pretty much your only option and it's a nice penny also. Street parking is super limited in this busy part of town. read more

Chef Terrell is the best! Food is amazing! Brisket Mac and cheese is to die for! Ribs are delicious too

Great for a quick bite after leaving the pool, or for a happy hour. The staff was very friendly and the food proportions were good. We left a little of everything on our plates. read more

so, we like biggios. drove from out of town for Astros game. coulda ate anywhere. but we left game early and haven't eaten because we had reservations at biggios. walked all the way to the place to walk in and say sorry kitchen closed. spoke to manger. she says oh I was about to call you. I said ok well I need a valid reason because it's 1030 at night everything is closed and we are from out of town and walked here. she said sorry equipment broke. I said ok at what point were you going to call. she said well its only 10. I said is there a coupon or an iou for my family as we are here, with no ride, no dinner and everything is closed she said nope it was just a reservation. do better biggios!!! business lost :) read more

Went there for a beer after dinner. Beer selection was good, with a nice range, and service was friendly. Great big screen on the main floor, with other options for seating, too. read more

Biggios is cool for a quick drink and bite before the game but the food isn't all that. It's real bar food so if you're looking to get satisfied don't eat here. Drink here if you need a quick turn up before the game. The atmosphere is great especially during the game time. read more

Only went for drinks. Bar was pretty crowded but once we got a bartender the service was good. Definitely will go back and try the food out, it looked amazing in passing. read more

Chef Terell is fantastic, provides great food and comes out to see how you are doing and how the food came out.

It's a shame to have a hall of fame with a Restaurant with a lack luster menu with stupid high prices. When on Sunday hostesses wanted you to walk downstairs although there were free tables upstairs along with everyone walking around with handy little iPads, inefficient! No biggie we sat at the bar the guys upstairs were nice and kept the drinks rolling......and now to the "food", food is well frozen certainly not fresh although pizza was $ 16 wings seemed at least freshly fried. Beer was great wine was decent and the upstairs bar guys were good. read more

we were here for hours. the waitress never refilled our waters once. we only saw her when we ordered and when we got our checks, and we had to flag her down to get them. and they were wrong. The checks ended up being wrong multiple times, and she got one of our cards mixed up with another tables and one of the people in our party was charged $95 for a meal that wasn't theirs. It was also ridiculously overpriced read more

I was in town for a conference and ate lunch here once and dinner twice. For lunch I was able to walk in and grab a seat at the bar. The bartender greeted me right away and provided a menu and my beverage. I ordered the chopped salad, and it was literally being set down in front of me in less than 3 minutes - impressive! The salad was a really good size and had plenty of chicken, bacon, eggs, corn, and avocado. The dressing was easy as well and I was really pleased with my choice. One of the nights when I had dinner here, some coworkers and I were hoping to watch a college basketball game. The hostess checked the channel availability, and then we picked a couch area to sit where we could see one of the TVs well. When the game started, she changed the channel for us and we were set. We enjoyed the fries and queso dip - a great indulgence, though we did need to ask once if something had happened to our order since it took a significant amount of time for them to appear. Once we asked, they came out quickly. I also had the flatbread pizza on another occasion and it hit the spot. read more

Food here was okay, for the price the overall experience could've been better. If you're going to let your guest seat themselves, please be attentive and no one greets you. It took forever to get our drinks when we sat as well. No utensils were given to us until we asked for them once we got our food. The servers are not attentive, not once did our server ask if we needed anything else or if our food was good or even made conversation. This is not a fast good place and the service could've been a lot better for the price we paid. read more

We stayed at the MARRIOTT MARQUIS HOUSTON on a Saturday/Sunday for rodeo. Great service from the hotel, but Biggio's was awful. Service was horrible, slow, and the waiter was down right rude. Food took forever and then when it finally arrived the dishes ranged from bad to mediocre. The restaurant was not crowded. Biggio special was overcooked & mediocre. The mushroom swiss burger was dry and awful. Fries were ok. What a waste of meal and waste of an evening. Will never return. read more

I came here with some decent expectations but this place was quite the let down. Everyone I came with said the same thing. It was just forgettable food and service. Nothing was fresh. Seemed like everything was in the freezer for far too long and finally thawed out. I have to say this isn't the place to eat. read more

My date and I went Saturday before a Rocket's game. I called earlier to make reservation, but they don't take them, so we took a gamble. We were sat right away which was great for our schedule. We were sat on the emptier side of the restaurant, which is fine, but that side doesn't have a lot of TVs. The bar is loaded with enormous TVs, and the other side had a big projector screen I noticed when I walked over there. There's also an upstairs that I didn't venture to. Overall the ambiance was great. It was a small menu, but I think that made my decision easier, and much easier on the kitchen. I had the brisket tacos, you get 3 tacos and chips with green salsa. I thought the tacos were great and filling, I couldn't even eat the last one. Chips were a little stale, and the green salsa was kind of bland. I'd maybe see if I could sub for the fries instead. My date got the bacon cheddar burger which is served with a side of fries, which he said was pretty decent. It's bar food and not a fancy restaurant. The waitress was great, didn't come by too much but enough to make sure we were ok. She did mix up Firestone Walker beer and Fireman Beer, but quickly corrected it. They have a great beer selection. Most IPAs I've ever seen at a sports bar like this, I'd definitely go back and try something else on the menu. read more

Overpriced.. service was lackluster. We had the $11 pretzel which had no salt. Who serves a pretzel with no salt? I had to ask for salt twice. It came with a tiny cup of cheese and mustard. We each had burgers and they were each around $19. They were good but uninspired. The fries were crispy. So yay there. read more

Ate here after leaving an Astros game, top of the 8th. Wait was short to sit but took pretty long to get food for four people, nearly an hour. I ordered the wings, they were served cold and honestly didn't taste as well as they were charged for. I also feel they could add many more TV's. There was a lot of wasted wall space for it being a sports bar. I'd come again but it wouldn't be my first or second choice. read more

Overall the food was good, but the queso fries I got were not the best. The cheese tasted reheated and processed. It was not good once the plate cooled down. We also got the BBQ wings, which were fantastic. I'm a wing lover and I will go back for them. My wife got the Tomato Pesto Flatbread and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that it was basically a small pizza. They didn't skimp on the flatbread. Prices were decent for what we ordered. We feel that we got what we paid for except for the queso fries. Service was great and it is a great place to watch a game. The atmosphere is fantastic and if you're an Astros fan then you will definitely enjoy the decorations. We were in town for an Astros game and found that this was a very short walking distance to Minute Maid Park. read more

Your hostess stand sucks! Long line. The hostess takes her time and walks slow. There are A LOT of tables open. We waited for 40 minutes for a party of 3 and there are at least 10 open tables in the restaurant! Not a good first impression Craig! We were asked if there's a particular game we want to watch. Baylor game. Apparently there is only one area that game will be on. WTF. This is Texas and a sports bar. Never again. Too many other good places around to watch a game and better food. I just read some other reviews and apparently the hostess and seating people is an issue. Attn Management - RED FLAG if it is commented on several times. Probably needs to be fixed. read more

I really wasn't that impressed by Biggios, and honestly wouldn't go back. Service was mediocre, prices were higher than I felt they should be, and food was sub par. We were in the bar area but after we ordered the first drink the bartender didn't acknowledge us much. We went during college football Saturday, and instead of switching all TVs to live sports they kept about 1/3 of them to sports channels with old reruns. The food, even for bar food, was MEH. The queso tasted like a generic store bought queso. The flatbread was more of a pizza. I also asked for jalapeños on it, but they added bell peppers. The flavor was also lacking on the flatbread. The burger was decent, nothing special. It's a shame because the restaurant is in a prime location, and is beautifully decorated. The bar area is very unique, especially the the way they utilize bats as part of the bar. It's unfortunate the experience doesn't match the locale. read more

Just got a beer here and watched a huge screen tv on Monday night. It was cool to see such big TVs and they can be seen from outside too. I can't comment on the food but the portion sizes looked big and people seemed to be enjoying their meals. read more

Met a friend here to watch the Saints Playoff Game. Nice open layout, one massive video screen for Patrons to view on the 1st or 2nd floor. Waitstaff was on point, and the menu has simple hard to mess up offerings (reduced menu, like a happy hour version). You have to enter through Marriott Marque's Lobby. Will check out again and take advantage of their more extensive menu. read more

Average sports bar food but highly overpriced. I guess thats what I get for eating in the city but I'm staying at a hotel across the street so I didn't want to go to far. The bar staff was helpful and made my drink quickly and my order (chopped salad) came out super fast. The salad was ok but for $15 the greens were not fresh and the bacon tasted like it had been cooked as soon as the bar opened. I wouldn't mind paying that much for a salad if the greens were fresh and the toppings had a good flavor. The menu doesn't do this dish justice, yes it may have pecan smoked bacon but that doesn't matter if it tastes more than a few hours old. Anyway it would have been an acceptable $5 salad but for $15 I expected much better. Overall I give the bar staff 5 stars and the overpriced salad 1 star. If your going to have a $15 salad make it fresh! read more

Great sports bar with friendly staff, lots of seating, and decent menu with something for everyone. Located across from the convention center and attached to the beautiful Marriott Marquis in downtown, there are ample TV, bar seating, and couches to relax. An upstairs level with nice sized patio to take in the sites. I enjoyed the mushroom Swiss burger, a Texas sized serving of guacamole, and a couple of Moscow mules. My spouse enjoyed the steak salad. Both bother and steak were cooked to perfection and the guacamole was super fresh. Was bummed that the Moscow mules were not served in copper mugs. The taste is definitely different and does not taste well in just a regular glass. If you're looking to catch a game, or are staying at the Marriott it's a great place to visit. read more

This was the first meal that my teammates and I had on our trip to Houston for our big convention. It is located on the ground floor of the hotel. You can enter off the hotel lobby but I also believe there is an entrance that you can access off the street, which puts it directly across the street from Minute Maid Park. Guessing this restaurant is the OFFICIAL restaurant of the Astros. When my team entered the restaurant we were seated immediately with menus in hand in just moments. I wouldn't say the menu options are overwhelming, but if you're coming from a game, having a huge meal probably isn't the priority. Our orders were taken very quickly. I had the Pesto and Tomato personal pizza and my two colleagues both had the Cobb salad (upon recommendation from our server). I really liked the pizza and one of my colleagues said she wanted to return and order the pizza. I really liked it and I would probably order it again. The Cobb salad that my two coworkers ate was HUGE. One of them said the ingredients were all very fresh and she loved it (literally scraped her bowl empty). The other one said that she liked the salad but the dressing was two spicy for her. Overall, the three of us liked Biggio's and would come back for a second visit if we have the time. read more

We got here before the rush after leaving Comicpalooza and were seated after about 15 minutes. We ordered the pretzel and the wings. The pretzel was huge and buttery.
