I really want to like this place but I think my third visit was not a charm. First experience some months back I went in for an oil change, no other service. I waited for 3 hours and 10 minutes. No explanation, no updates just waiting. When I ask about the long wait I'm told they had no oil plugs for my car. They ordered some and were waiting on delivery. After asking for a discount, not a free service, I was shot down immediately and told corporate would not allow that. I continued to wait. After becoming aware of my wait, a supervisor offered to comp my service and offered me a free oil change for the next time. He apologized, I accepted and went on my way. On return for my complimentary service a few months later it was an oil change and tire rotation. I sat in the waiting room, watched the guys working and all seemed to go well. I wait to see them rotate the tires and it never happens. They lower my car, return it to the lot and I get called up to pay. I sighed but let it go. I had to get to work and just thought maybe they weren't aware. Today I decide to give them another shot, take it in for the same service as before; full synthetic oil change and a tire rotation. Sitting in the same waiting room as before, the garage and work space in view through the waiting room windows the inspection and oil change begins. All seems to go as requested. And again, car is lowered, hood is closed and my car is returned to the lot. I'm at the counter to pay and ask if the tires were rotated. The guy says yes. I asked him to explain the process to me as I didn't see them touch the tires so maybe I'm missing something. He says they're pretty quick with it but he can assure it was done. I told him I watched the entire time. My tires were never touched. They also never asked me for the tire key I have to remove the tires. I asked him to confirm with the guys and when he returns he just says, " I do apologize we will get it back right away, won't take long." There seems to be a lack of quality control at this particular location. I think three times was plenty for me to come to the conclusion that they do not value quality or attention to detail here. My warning to you is to watch them work and ensure you are getting the service you paid for and the quality you deserve to keep your vehicle in good shape. read more

It's a shame that I'm writing this review. This location used to be great but it's gone down hill. I had an 8:15 appointment for an oil change. I was quoted that it would be about an hour. At 9:10 I walked outside to warm up and noticed my truck was still in the spot I parked. So I asked why it hadn't been taken back and the man at the desk said "oh we're really busy. We have a lot of appointments." I told him my appointment was at 8:15 and he was like yeah well anyone can make appointments online and it doesn't have a cap so sometimes we get a lot. Well I made my appointment in store literally a week ago. When I asked how long it would be he said it could be another hour! Just for an oil change. No apology no nothing. read more

I hate going to places and feeling like I'm being taken advantage with services I don't need. That's never the case when I come to this location of big O tires their very thorough and informative on everything that they're doing with my vehicle. I get my tires alignment, oil change, And I just recently got my brake fluid flush done here and they do a great job. The customer service is fantastic, I was helped by Wendel and he was great. He took the time to really explain everything thoroughly for me. For me, a huge plus is the cleanliness, so I appreciate how nice they keep their customer lounge and how clean the women's bathroom is. read more

I called asking for a tire for purchase. I have access to a mount and balancer just needing a tire only for a friend that has a blowout. ONE tire. I drove 20 mins since they had a cheaper tire in stock and when I got there they told me they only take CASH ONLY. I'm pretty surprised this place has such horrible reviews but thankfully it's not been my experience. I've been here twice, each time I made an online appt & got immediate confirmation via email. Each time I waited a normal amount of time (they also have a courtesy shuttle) but I don't mind waiting. There's a clean waiting area with tv, popcorn, snacks and water/coffee. I don't recall who took care of me but they were nice, helpful, friendly & suggested what else my car required without being too pushy like some other places. I feel the price I paid was very reasonable & the guys who work there are professional. I live nearby and will definitely be coming here more often especially since oil changes at dealerships have gotten outrageous! I really enjoyed my experience at Big O tires. read more

Not a good experience. Needed a specific $500 tire for my car which they said they could get within an hour. Wouldn't take a credit card over the phone for a deposit, I had to come in in person to pay the deposit. Hey guys it ain't 1960 anymore get with the times. These guys are like old time mechanics with a chip on their shoulder. They also wanted more for the tire and service than another Big O franchise which I ended up getting the tire from for less money. read more

Do not go here, took my car in for an oil change. I have a bluetooth adapter connected, picked up my car. I didn't notice till I got home that it was missing. Called and all they said was "we will keep an eye out for it " we looked the car over just in case it fell, nothing. read more

Went in for an alignment, said I had a tire that wasn't able to get patched. They told me I needed a new tire, I trusted them, when I went to go see my tire that wasn't able to get patched I quickly realized that they are full of shit. Went to "South mountain tires" & got my tire patched & mounted within 30 minutes. Wouldn't recommend anybody going to " Big O Tires", they need more experience & just want to scam you for more money. read more

If i could put less i would. Big O is a BIG O DISAPPOINTMENT! Twice i made an appointment and when i arrived i was told I'd have to wait 1 1/2 hours. Why make an appointment! I was told that am appointment "just means they will get the v work done by the end of the day". Completely unacceptable. If your appointment time can't be accommodated then either tell people upfront or give a courtesy call about delay. Some of the worst customer service. So I checked it bright and early in the morning without a appointment in mind. They quoted me an hour and half to two hours max. I didn't mind until my car did not move for two full hours. I totally get appointments, but walk-ins should also have priority. I really liked this place, but quoting inaccurate time is something that needs to be looked at and if appointments are getting backed up you should tell the customer. The people at the desk were kind and courteous and appreciate their efforts on trying to assist me. This tire shop is not bad at all, just giving times out on when vehicles will be looked and finished should be looked at. All in all, book an appointment or suffer the consequences. read more

I scheduled an appointment for 7:45 am for an oil change and was told it would take 60-90 minutes to complete. Three hours later, I called and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. I was then told they hadn't even started working on my car yet. It's frustrating and disappointing; this is a terrible way to do business. I am certain they wouldn't have started working on my car unless I had called. It seems no one wants to take accountability either. Please go somewhere else for an oil change. read more

They are thieves and liars. Brought my car here to get the catalytic converter replaced. The salesman assured me that they work with only bolt on parts. Over $2000 later I come to find out they used off market parts and welded them in place. I will never be taking my car to a big O again. read more

I would like to thank Big O Tires for the awesome last-minute-before-closing service that we received on Saturday, September 16th. We had a flat tire and didn't discover how worse it actually was until we attempted to find a place to get air. Unfortunately, the air machines/hoses at Quick-Trip, Circle K and Safeway were all tampered with (though no fault of their own). Fortunately, we were able to make it to Big O Tires where the service technician, Patrick Roth, assisted us just in the nick of time. Patrick was friendly and courteous. He identified the problem and repaired it expeditiously at no charge. Our experience with Big O Tires was very positive, and It's good to know they're open until 6 p.m. read more

I would give them a Big zerO if possible. This was my second time attempting at getting an oil change at this location because it's conveniently located by my home. First time I scheduled an appointment online, only to arrive at scheduled time to be told that their scheduling system shouldn't have allowed the appointment as they were too busy. No apology, no alternative solution. Their CSR, Mike doesn't belong behind the counter, he is rude, very unorganized and incompetent. Today, I called to ask if there were appointments available, I was told that appointment wasn't necessary for an oil change, to come in and they would take care of me. The CSR today (Joe/Jose?) was friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. Told me there were only 2 cars ahead of me so I decided to wait. Mike must have been at lunch, shortly after he returned it got busy. I watched as they pulled technicians away from servicing vehicles to check on cars arriving with various issues. Seemed very disorganized and frustrating for the technicians. After 2.5 hours I asked my spouse to pick me up on way home from work. I returned 15 minutes before closing time to pick up my vehicle, it was still sitting in the same spot where I parked it. They hadn't even started the oil change 4 hours after arriving. Yet, vehicles that arrived after mine were already in bays being serviced. Mike said they would get it mine for service, but it wouldn't be ready for another 30-40 minutes. I don't know if there is favoritism for family, friends, regulars... maybe the disorganization, I don't know, but it's not fair to the technicians to have to stay later, and it's a total disregard of their customer's time. When I got home I learned that Brakes Plus just opened down the road and offer better priced oil changes. Also, Hyper Performance has drive- up oil change service and is only a block away. Jose, Garret and crew are a total joke. We went in for two tires and an oil change (car dropped off) and was phoned and said we needed 3 tires. I asked to save the tires. When the tires were picked up, the third tire was not needed (I am an ASE certified master technician). Oil change light was not reset, no oil change sticker, oil left dripping under the car, and the drainplug was stripped (I checked the car thoroughly afterwards), TPMS (tire light) was not reset. The air filter was missing, and cabin air filter were missing with the air box not reinstalled and the glove box was broken (removed to check the cabin air filter). These clowns are incompetent, and the counter guy Garret lied to our face. I actually went to apply for a job here previously, but after speaking with the joke of a manager Jose, who acted like he knew everything under the sun about automotive repair, I did not apply for a job. I figured they could at least do tires right with a name like Big O Tires, boy was I wrong. These clowns are liars, incompetent and do shoddy work. This was after I stood at their other location on 75th ave and left after being ignored for 15 minutes. Arrived in less than 10 minutes. I had a loose car door handle. Needed replacing or repairing. Simple. I came in on a Saturday and was assured it would definitely be done that day but I asked repeatedly for it to at least be done by close on Sunday because I had work to get to. I gave them an entire weekend to take care of this originally! Didn't get a call on Saturday so I had to make a call at 11am on Sunday and didn't get a call back on the condition until 1pm. Was quoted a bunch of other stuff because I asked them to do a secondary auto inspection then I asked about the handle and they said oh we have to order that, that won't be done today. What?? Why wasn't it ordered on Saturday then? I had even been assured it would be done same day. They said I could come in Monday but only if I came by 5. Called on Monday said I got off at 4:30pm, so I wouldn't be able to make it in again until Saturday. Didn't want a repeat of the previous weekend to occur so I called the following Saturday to ask about time (I had been assured the previous weekend that even if I came at 430 on the Monday before close it would be "quick") On Saturday I was told that it could be done quickly if I came in on Sunday at 9am. That's an appointment right? So I did that-waited til Sunday. My car didn't get touched until an hour later (why would they say 9 when they meant 10) now it's 3 hours that I've had to wait in store for a car door handle only. I get they are short staffed but I should have been prioritized after two weekends trying to be patient and trying to get in. Then I watched people who came in AFTER me get serviced and checked out before me. So here I am on a Sunday getting a repeat of the previous weekend and WASTING my time. 2 weeks and 3 hours. Fucking ridiculous. I will definitely not be coming back if I can help it. I absolutely know I can get better faster service for this elsewhere. And I get why I'm on my phone in the lobby but why are the techs up in here doing the same when they could be in the back helping? They've just gotten back to me and told me they can't fix it all the way-I have to jiggle something without additional parts being added and that's going to take a few days to take care of and I was like if you release it to me now why the hell would I pay for this if it hasn't been fixed all the way-only partially?? So now they want to charge me for door handle fixed but the door handle hasn't been fixed. It's only partially been fixed because they couldn't replace a spring inside the door so they took apart and put everything else in place except this spring and expected me to wait another day or more with my car still there on site (AGAIN) and I was like no I'll take this somewhere else but this is malpractice because you are asking me to pay for a full fix not a partial fix and now I gotta take my car to another place to get it properly fixed. When I asked the desk guy to go get the mechanic to explain this to me so I could convey the info to someone else he said I hurt his "ego" so he was refusing to give me info relevant to fixing my car in full and I was like do I need to call the police to ensure you do business properly cause I don't mind doing this if you hand over a badly fixed car to me, charge me for it and then withhold information that will allow me to take it elsewhere to get fixed? So then the front desk guy showed me what he looked up because he kept insinuating he didn't know the spring part (bullshit) and kept going between oh it's a spring/it's a door repair kit using general broad terms to avoid having to say anything specific to me to help ensure I could get my car fixed elsewhere. I finally just left because I wasn't going to keep arguing with them when they had just handed my car over to me half fixed and charged me full price for it. Apparently they put the broken spring BACK into my car. Just...why? Also my spring was NOT a problem before. It was working perfectly fine. The reason I brought it in was because a screw had come loose and fell into the door panel and the door handle was loose but the spring worked perfectly fine. All they needed to do was put the screw back in. I bet he didn't put it together again properly and is now acting like I got to replace it when it's actually their bad mechanic making the issue worse. So not only are they negligent about timing to an extreme (okay 3 days is being pretty generous---I'm over here thinking I have pretty good patience) they employ dishonest people and practice fraudulent business practices. read more

After big0tires having my truck for 5 hours for an oil change and didn't do shit to it and I went on a 6 hour road with no oil in my engine and big0 saying it was fine to drive.
