Absolutely the BEST experiences I have had at any auto-body shop. My car is very old and many parts are failing. I was greeted and taken care of by Darren, and was pleasantly surprised at the excellent customer service I received! Darren had a very thorough inspection done on my car by David. David fixed my car up, and they had me out and back on the road in no time. About two days later my car had a seperate issue because well she's old. Our needs are pretty basic, but every single time we're treated exceptionally well by the team. Sara is usually the one who takes care of us. She's full of personality, always has a smile, incredibly efficient, and just a hands-down professional. A gentleman at the front desk (Josh Gomez) runs the show. I walk in and he greets me. I tell him what I need and he gets to work promptly. Albeit there were a few other clients in the lobby, I was surprised how fast the service was. He was also very personable, and presentable. We didn't talk much but for our short interaction I can tell from how he performed that he enjoys being there. The tires were perfect, the service was perfect, and the establishment was also clean. All tire purchases made by myself and my husband for more years than I can recall have been made from Discount Tire. I had a freak thing happen yesterday that flattened my rear tire and put a hole in the wheel well. Upon urging from my son derived from two great experiences with this Big O Tire facility, I brought my vehicle here. To my surprise, they called me to come back an hour later, advising me that they were able to fix my tire. Upon approaching the counter, I was told they weren't charging me for the work. What?!?!!! This level of customer service rarely exists anymore. They did agree to let me tip the receptionist, which I thanked them for accepting that small gesture. Thank you, Big O Arvada. The guys at this place were amazing and very welcoming. Long story short, my car stopped working due to what would become a failed fuel pump. Stuck at the intersection, Adrian, one of the employees at big-o pulled right up behind me and offered a ride to a gas station after so many just went around. Unfortunately, the gas station did not have a gas can, so Adrian took me back to big-o, picked up the gas can, and drove me once again to the gas station and back to my car. Once that failed, the boys at the shop offered to tow me back to their famcility upon which they fixed my fuel pump and sensor. I'm very thankful for Adrian and the other employees help that day, and for making what was a desperate situation manageable. I certainly recommend this facility to anyone who needs friendly, customer, service, and knowledgeable personnel. read more

3rd time getting front brakes on this truck. Was charged every single time! Where's the actual warranty if you're just getting recharged every time? Both times brakes were reserviced an oil change and tire rotation were suppose to be done. I specifically used a white paint marker on the front tires each time to see if the tire rotation was done which neither time was it done. Oil light wasn't ever reset and never got a window sticker for oil change reminder. On top of all that they called me during the service saying the rear pinion seal needed to be replaced and gear oil would need replaced to replace the seal. Well upon picking the vehicle up I was told they didn't have a big enough socket to replace the pinion seal and they went ahead and serviced the differential anyways. P.s. grahm at the front desk is very rude in person and over the phone and will lie to your face. Definitely calling corporate for a refund on some of this work that may or may not have been donemay not. Regardless do not go to this location. My company is from now on never getting vehicles serviced at this location and probably not at any big o tires. read more

Be smart!! Don't have any front end work at all (alignments particularly) done here. I'm sure I'll get the usual response of "Well, we try to provide excellent service ... " blather, but check out the pics below after you read this. Hint to doubters: the other non car pics are of the bathroom. Sorry I didn't get a pic of the weeds which have been in place on the perimeter for at least 3 years ( I drive past this place several times per week.) Or the dirty windows. On and on. Like first visiting a Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant, or any restaurant actually, the smart shopper checks out the restrooms first. In this case, note the hole in the wall in back of the door, the etched graffiti on top of the mirror, the toilet which doesn't flush and hasn't had the bowl cleaned in years. As to my alignment. Here's a brief history: Had the car aligned here 6 months ago. Or at least tried to. On a personal note, I've been a mechanic for, um, a minute or two, and I replaced every moving part under the front and rear suspensions with new MOOG, KYB, Sachs, etc. New rack and pinion. All bushings, trailing arms, lateral links, sway bar bushings, all ball joints, etc. etc. BIG O maintains that they cannot align the car at the front because of "Camber" limitations. Here's the first hint: The original top strut to knuckle bolts are splined so that they lock solid when they are JUST STARTING TO BE PULLED INTO THE SLOTS. They don't have to be tight to lock solid. They lock as soon as you start driving them in. So if you just loosen the nuts on one strut and attempt to adjust it, IT WILL GO NOWHERE!!! And pounding on it with a 2 pound hammer, as Jim Paris did to my 1989 Skyhawk (same suspension design) just makes me come running out telling you to stop! So. I paid $70 for a bad alignment, then I purchase the MOOG upper adjustable strut screws for all 4 struts. Yeah baby, now you can set camber easily, without all this spline trickery. Says I. Hopes I. Not so lucky today son. Car comes out with 1.5 degree negative camber on both fronts. Their own computer flags this bad reading by printing it in red. Counter guy says, no no, the most important reading is the "cross camber" reading. The "difference" is the most important. Bull. If you set the fronts to 10 degree negative camber, each side, like a "drifter" does, your tires would last maybe 50 miles. But hey, it "should be okay", per Big O. On my car, at this moment, one side is 1.5 degrees negative. The other side is 1.5 degrees negative. No difference, right? Should be okay.... aaahh... I give up. These are the specs I got from the first "alignment." And the specs from the second alignment. Also, my car was spotless, the way I keep my cars. Notice the brand new grease and fingerprints on the drivers door, the black shoe marks on drivers door panel, the greasy fingerprint on the seat. My favorite touch? The radio volume knob turned full blast, and then pushed off. So when I turn it on, presto, full volume. Grade school crap honestly. Stay tuned, If HQ refunds my money, I'll let you dear readers/customers know. But this comment will stay, alas. read more

We wouldn't take our car anywhere else for tires or service! Been going here for more than 2 years. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and cost competitive. Best to make an appointment. My only slight issue is that time estimates that they give you for service work are often a bit optimistic. So if you're planning your day around a service, add an extra hour or so just to be safe. Had a competitor tell me my alternator was bad after Advance auto checked and said they couldn't tell. Then the other guys pitched me a $1200 quote. They didn't work with my warranty so brought it to Big0 in Arvada bc a friend has had work done there before. The assessed the alternator again and showed me the readings and was working just fine. Staff is always very helpful with me every time I go in. I've gone in to get tires, they check over my truck before I leave to make sure that nothing else needs to be addressed. When issues are found I am always given plenty of options for solutions as far as cost and scheduling. Had a flat tire late on a Friday night, needed a set of 22s, a size that is not something tire shops normally stock. Called Graham (I think that was his name) at 11:00am on a Saturday, they didn't have the tires in stock but got two picked up and delivered to the store within an hour. Dropped my truck off at 12:00 and it was done in an hour. Extremely friendly, extremely helpful and got us out of a jam after a 14 hour drive down from Canada, didn't have to wait until Monday afternoon to get it fixed like we had expected and they went out of their way to help out. Like most chain tire places they base themselves on reputation. I came here on a snow day (mistake) because it's always crowded as you don't realize you need new tires until your sliding all over the road on the first big winter storm. Will they upsell you? YES! But unlike getting new brakes it's just a set of tires so you usually get what you pay for. Your decision is usually based on what your pocket book can afford. My suggestion if your driving a decent vehicle you plan on keeping for a while is middle of the road or better. Cheap, cheap and you can expect to be back sooner than you expected. I went with higher grade more expensive version and glad I did. Wait times: On a snow day 3-4 hours. On a regular day, probably closer to two hours. Most garbage experience ever. These guys only want you to spend money. I swear they break cars on purpose to make more even money; just read the reviews of people getting maintenance done they didn't need before they took it into this place, plus giving quotes to fix it just to be offering financing right off the bat. Not only that it feels as though they lie straight to your face and take no accountability for their mistakes. If you don't care about other peoples cars, and/or their safety behind the wheel, maybe you shouldn't be working on them? Seems slimy here and I'll tell you why. I brought my car in for an alignment, pretty simple from my past experiences at other places. My steering wheel was 10 degrees to the left and pulling just slightly to the right when I brought it in. When I got my car back from them (1.5 days later, had to Uber to and from work thanks for that), my wheel was 25 degrees to the left and pulling so hard to the right I couldn't even drive straight hardly. They told me that would fix itself, that it's "normal" for it to do that, and if it didn't go back to normal to come back and get it adjusted again. 4 or 5 days went by and I had to bring it in again. They then claim to have seen the tie rods were bent. So. Explain to me why you couldn't see that the first time? Because that's a pretty important detail to disclose and ignore the first time around. They tried to get me to do their financing option to pay for the service right then and there. Said they could replace the parts that day and have it done in 2 hours... yet my alignment took 1.5 days... why would I do any of that when you guys couldn't even do the alignment correctly in the first place? It doesn't take a genius to figure out that you guys probably mess up cars brought into you on PURPOSE to get more money out of them. These "professionals" don't know what they're doing. 100/10 recommend literally anywhere else. This place feels like a scam. Save your car some damage and find a local shop. They will usually be better than these trash can chain stores. read more

OK for rotations and oil changes but AVOID for any other repair. They tried to scare me into spending $3,500 to fix an oil leak, made me sign a waiver to drive my car away. Luckily I knew it was a scam and had my car fixed by a real mechanic for less than $500. read more

Do not bring your vehicle here! They are very incompetent in every way. I brought my truck in for two front tires. They later called me and talked me into having them rebuild the front end, which I should have had my mechanic do, as they had no clue what they were doing. the truck was there almost a week! and they still didn't do it right so I have to have it fixed by my mechanic after giving them thousands of dollars. Then I told them to take the driver side tire and put it on my spare rim. Well they lost my tire! So then they said they would order a new on to make it up to me. Its been three weeks and hadn't heard back. So I went down today to find my rim sitting with no tire.... I go in to ask the manager about it and he replies that the owner said that they weren't going to pay for a new tire and that they are looking for a used tire to replace it!! They said that they weren't going to lose $300+ dollars to buy me a new one when it was their fault in the first place!!! Just go to discount tire across the street those guys are great! Was recommended Big O for their selection by COSTCO no less. I've such a good experience at this location (near Arvada COSTCO) last Saturday. Didn't think I could even get in. April was so accommodating and helpful. Not only did she got me in but the whole crew was friendly and courteous. I didn't spend a lot wanting lower cost as I was planning for a new car but was treated so well despite not picking the expensive brands. My tire one day was flat. I went to Big O's to get 2 new ones. Grahm H. Was amazing. He got me really great snow tires for my truck for under $340 and he gave me 2 tires for free. (His daughter totaled a truck and he had them sitting around). Very good tires. When I drove 200-300 miles my brakes fell off my truck so I took it in again and had those looked at. I think I just did the front brakes. This was more expensive then what I had. So one of the guys offered their financing thing. I got approved and got my truck, Rhonda, back up and running. Great mechanics and very understanding on other people's finances. I'm going here every time I need something with my tires in Arvada. I had the worst experience here, and it was expensive to boot. After moving to CO the lug nuts in my wheel started sheering off. I brought them into Big O on my landlord's recc. I waited all day. Each time I checked in they would say almost done. Got frustrating. But they did the needed repairs. Should be good, right? Not so much. Within two weeks the same wheel almost completely sheered off my car while driving home on the highway from Denver... at 3 am! I waited for AAA in a super shady neighborhood and luckily had made one friend I could call in the middle of the night. We towed back to Big O, thinking they would fix their own repair. They refused to take responsibility!! Because of their poor work I could have been seriously hurt. I had to pay a lot to have it repaired by them again because I didn't want to pat to re-tow my car. And of course their time estimates kept extending through the day. Needless to say I will never return. It was a poor welcome into Colorado! read more
