Almost $1,000 in Damage! On April 25, 2025, I went to Jiffy Lube for a standard oil change. During the service, Jovanne told me my brakes needed replacement and that my brake fluid was low, which felt suspicious. They changed my oil, but later Take 5 told me Jiffy Lube had cross-threaded my oil plug, preventing proper service. Midas estimated repairs could cost $990 if the oil pan was damaged. I called Jiffy Lube to fix the problem. Manager Chris admitted their mistake and promised that my oil change would be free. After he went on break, Jovan charged me $92.90 anyway and refused to honor the promise. I called multiple times about a refund, speaking with Sarah and later Brian, but was ignored or given excuses, including being told I didn't "argue enough" for the free service. Their dishonest practices, broken promises, and poor accountability make this location completely untrustworthy. Avoid this Jiffy Lube, don't risk your car or your money! read more

I'm so impressed with this place! Super fast. Super nice. My son's favorite stuffed animal fell out of the car when I opened the door and got oily and he was devastated... and Daniel cleaned him up! Came in for oil change had my oil and filter all oem besides oil when doing the change with a gentlemen I spoke with who was seemed knowledgeable and than I noticed a new women tech working underneath the car different from the guy that was working on it before and she must've untighten the filter because she asked the "is this his filter" and I was in the vehicle during the time and I felt underneath she was doing something I was super nervous because it was obvious she was new on the job but my car is gushing oil out all over my splash guard I spent 60 to get screwed literally and when if I go to take it back to get it fixed and right again you guys are going to use your Pennzoil which I do not like at all this is a nightmare I only took it in because I don't have a jack as I am from the springs. I'm very upset now I have drive careful or get down and dirty myself after a long nights work and screw the filter on correct that has to be the only issue on why it's leaking so much I very upset I hope all mechanic shops like these go outta business terrible service all those call outs on a simple oil change seems unnecessary seems they should focus on teaching the tech how to properly do a simple auto service. So much so that I knew I had to leave a review before even driving off. Highlights from my visit 1. Special processes are in place due to covid, which is nice to see. 2. Everyone was extremely friendly and polite with me and each other. Daniel, the store manager, was especially cheery. 3. They checked my brake pads and accurately noted that I recently had 2 done but the others were getting worn down. 4. They were super fast, I was in and out in about 40-45 mins for the oil change and brake pads. 5. The music was great so the time flew by. read more

I took my Jeep in the other week and they were nice enough to tell me that the last guy wrote the mileage wrong on the next oil change card and I didn't need one for another 3k miles. I really appreciated this so I took our other car in but this time it was a completely different story. First off they told me it would take between 45 minutes and a hour. It took more then TWO HOURS and this was a half hour after they opened. Not only that, they moved my car over into another lane so I'm pretty sure they moved some other people in front of me for some reason. Second they were extremely poor at describing my options. I had to ask multiple times what the options were after they kept saying I had to get the most expensive change available. My last three oil changes for this car averaged 50 dollars and this one was double. I'd rather change my oil myself then ever return to a place like this. read more

I was taken advantage of. The guys seemed so nice and helpful, but I found out later that they lied to me about my cabin filter. I've gone to this location three times now, they usually tell me that I need to change a filter or two- but I'm typically wary of being tricked into spending money for no reason. This time I could tell that the filter really did need to be changed, so I asked the guy checking me out if it was HONESTLY worth the price. He told me that I could only get it for about $3 less at Auto Zone, so that it made sense to get it done at Jiffy Lube for the convenience. He seemed like a nice, honest guy but I guess I should never let my guard down and trust human beings to be good, decent and honest- my bad! I paid $56 for that filter and just found it on Auto Zone's site for $23. That's criminal, guys. Not cool, will not be back ever again. read more

Took them 2 1/2 hours to change my oil. I have such bad luck with cars and oil problems in particular that I'm not even surprised in the slightest. Just my bad luck my oriole filter housing cracked into 1 million pieces and broke when the young lady technician was repairing it. It seems like they had to go run to an auto store or something to get the proper part but we were OK with me asking to see the broken part and keeping the package of the new filter that they put in. Just took a long time and I'm not at all surprised but they should improve their procedure. Still charge me same price they would have if they didn't break it. Update: they installed a new oil filter housing, cheap part from Walmart. Leaked in my driveway and outside work so I called and they said they'd replace it with a Toyota OEM part like the one they broke off (how do you break off a metal oil filter housing to begin with, pretty sure they were just trying to steal the part). Anyways, I come back the next day and they install it in 5 mins the new OEM part that the manager tells me cost him upwards of 60$. WHY?! It is a 15$ part. People are crazy. Just wanted to send a shout out and a huge THANK YOU to the team at the 39th and Wadsworth location in Wheat Ridge. My mom and I were headed out of town when we realized that her skid plate was coming loose. We were in a total panic as we weren't able to drive more than 25 miles an hour with the skid plate hitting the road, and we went to three other auto service places that weren't able to help. When we arrived at Jiffy Lube, the team was able to get us right in, worked as quickly as they could to just remove the skid plate for us, offered plastic covering to help us wrap up the skid plate for the time being, and then didn't even charge us. Just visited this location with a friend. He was getting his oil changed for his brand new mustang. As the older gentleman (I believe one of the managers) was explaining the services to my friend, I told him he should decline the differential and manual transmission fluid check, being that vehicle has less than 4000 miles. So I went ahead and told the customer service adviser that he doesn't need to check those things, he proceeded to tell me that it's part of the service and I responded with "I understand, we're just declining that part of the service" then he got frustrated with me and told me the attitude wasn't necessary and he's been working in this industry for 30+ years. I was extremely confused at what had just happened to set him off to be so rude. He wasn't wearing a name tag and I didn't care to ask for his name. read more

This is my typical Jiffy I have gone to for years, usually super great and the guys are always nice. I went this morning and the gentleman that helped me wasn't very kind. The receipt I was given was incorrect and the other one I swapped with another customer still wasn't correct. They didn't do the walkthrough with me when my car was done nor was my maintenance light reset. Went to get a oil change 4/27/20 at Store # 1001 Griffin Fast Lube Denver , LLC 3901 Wadsworth BLVD 303 422 8980 1) Manger let me go after insisting that a oil low (red) light was on and that the measurements were not showing up at the time of the completed oil change. He insisted that once it warmed up the lights would go away Also a EPC light was on that was never on before this was scary as I took off. 2) 10 min later I had to call them and have them come out to look at my car as I had to pull into a community where the manager then came to swap out another filter with no oil and then started the car up multiple times and it just sounded worst and worst. 3) They towed it to have it looked it but it was taking forever! So I had it towed to Audi to have them look at the car to see what happened. 4) The car sounded perfectly fine when taking it in just after something happened during that oil change I will keep everyone posted on the situation as I am still waiting to see what's wrong with my car! 5) Also the team there will not treat your auto parts with any respect they throw my plate from my hood on the ground like it was nothing. 6) Also promised a refund never got one! This was one of the sorriest excuses for a business I have ever encountered. I came in on 05/28/2016 looking for a preset 10-15 minute inspection for my vehicle. I came in with the inspection form and an individual (African-American nationality) was standing about five feet from me finishing up with a previous customer. After five minutes or so, the individual walked right past me-no greeting, no, "I'll be right with you," no eye contact, not even an acknowledgement that a customer was there! The individual went into the garage and literally started dawdling around as if to say, "we don't want to help anyone." After waiting for about ten to fifteen minutes, I got tired of standing in their unkempt, dirty office wondering if I would be helped. I literally had to walk to the garage and flag someone down. I caught a mechanic in his late teens or early 20s (reddish-brown hair) and stated, "I've been standing here for 10-15 minutes and no one has even greeted me yet. Are you guys going to be here soon? I don't mean to be rude." I told him what I needed and in a lazy, "I-don't-want-to-help-you" tone, stated that "umm, it's going to be about two hours before we can get to that." I said, "thank you," and left. Rather than at least let their client know they were booked up (if they truly were), this staff decided to waste my limited time and let me figure it out by waiting endlessly. Needless to say, I will not be returning here and Jiffy Lube has lost my potential business for life. P.S. Grease Monkey down the street from them (where I have always gone for oil changes) had two open bays, told me to come right over, had happy, excellent customer service, and were tending to my vehicle literally within SECONDS of pulling up, and got my inspection done within twenty minutes.
