I've been to this location a few times, but this last one made me want to write a review. Aaron was kind, professional, and most importantly honest. As a woman, I've heard horror stories of being charged extra for things you don't need. Aaron offered clear, knowledgeable and honest guidance for my situation. He made it clear that he wanted my business, but in the right way. For hiring diligent employees who treat others with humanity, I will absolutely be returning to this location. read more

I've been coming here for years with multiple vehicles and never had a problem. I have met the owner on an occasion and I must say he has some pretty high standards for his establishment. Well never come back!!! This particular grease monkey was terrible! I came in just to get some Freon put in my cars airconditioner and they scammed me!!! First of all I don't think they ever put any Freon in they told me it was done but clearly it wasn't I WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN!!! Your crew sucks!!!do not go here!!! Popped into Grease Monkey this morning, waited 15 minutes inside for someone to come in and check me in...no dice. I passed the time by watching the computer screen showing the completion time of the vehicles in the bay...when two of the cars countdown went up...I left. Wanted to give a big shout-out to Cindy who helped me today. My wife is stuck at home after having surgery this past week and asked me to go get her tires aired. Due to the cold weather, the tires were low and the tire pressure light on her dash has been on for a couple weeks. Cindy quickly helped me get the tires filled up and I back on the road in no time. Easy oil change spot with a quick turn around! The staff was friendly and replaced my wiper blades. They also do tire rotations!

I was greeted right away and the staff was friendly. However, they took my truck out once it was done and I went and stood near the counter. (I assumed since they were pulling my truck out that I could pay and leave). I stood near the counter for about 10-15 minutes while the cashier was messing around with the other staff in the garage. I was looking in the windows too and the cashier made eye contact with me twice. After waiting 10-15 minutes he comes in and calls up another customer who's car was just pulled out. He asked if he could help me with something, and I told him my truck had been done for 15 minutes and I was waiting on him. He didn't seem to care that I had to wait that long for him to return. read more

They did a nice job. While Grease Monkey as a chain doesn't do repairs, they knew about the issue with my car and suggested a shop. The work was quick, everything was clean, and they had some refreshments while you waited. They also gave me some good choices for my car and helped me pick the best option for my budget and the condition of my car. read more

Very nice I called ahead and was told they weren't busy. Pulled up just as a car was pulling out. They cleaned widows and vacuumed the floors. Checked all the levels even brought in a card that had oils and tranny fluid on it to show me all was okay. read more

Blew up my Mazda 3. Took it in for the usual oil change. They cracked the oil filter housing. The oil slowly dripped out until the engine blew up. There was no warning light on the Mazda for low oil pressure! Grease Monkey refused to accept responsibility and I ended up spending $$$$ for replacement engine. Don't use them. read more

They messed my car up pretty bad by removing my front differential fluid dipstick and not putting it back. I got home and checked under my hood to find the dipstick lying aside the engine with all of my differential fluid spilled out - leaving the reservoir bone dry. Real nice service. Definitely not getting my oil changed from this business ever again. read more

I have been going here for a while and thought I could trust them, but I caught them in a lie so I am done. Brought car in for oil change and they tell me I need to change tran fluid, that it is brown. The guy has his little color chart to show you and says it will cost $170. I hesitate and say I will do it next time. I bring car home and my wife reminds me that we had that service done just 2k miles ago. I call back to ask what's going on. First, I am told they did not know because the last time they entered license plate in computer wrong and did not see that it was done before. I feel somewhat better but ask why after 2k miles it is brown again. I am told that sometimes even after a trans flush that the fluid can get dirty looking again due to crud on side walls of transmission. They say, we will redo it at no charge. Then, the asst. Mgr. John brings me out to car and shows me that the trans fluid is pink and says it is fine and he is sorry for confusion. I ask, why did your guy say it was brown then? He says, he was just going off miles. But, I remind him that he was saying it was brown and showed me the chart. I say so he is telling customers a lie. He blows smoke up my butt and starts telling me how trustworthy he is - worked at dealerships for 30 years, etc. But, the lie and action is still there. He says, I won't blow this off, I'll talk to the mechanic. BUT BUT BUT.....YOU STILL DID NOT ANSWER THE ACTION OF HIS LIE. LIAR'S!!! As a consumer, I am not dumb and when I go to a Grease Monkey I expect they will upsell me, but I also expect they will upsell me something as serious as my transmission fluid ONLY if needed. Face it John, the mechanic lied and then you tried to gloss it over. You just lost 2 cars in your bays and hopefully more as I share this story with others online and off. read more

Went to this Grease Monkey for an oil change for my Jetta. Didn't have to wait very long before they were done. As I was paying about $90 bucks for their service the gentleman helping me, Darrell, tells me they couldn't get the oil filter cap off to replace the filter so I needed to go purchase one from the dealer and come back and they can finish the job then. I am a female that knows absolutely nothing about cars but the gentleman seemed like it was a very normal occurrence and I left very uncertain. Come to find out it is pretty pointless to change my oil and not the filter and that no work should have even been started on my car if they didn't have the right tool to complete the job. I later am informed a unique tool, not a socket, is required for my vehicle less risk damaging the cap. I end up getting in contact with this store's regional manager Randy who seemingly was empathetic and determined to make this right for me customer service wise as I felt taken advantage of. He said they would see if the shop next door to them could do it properly and Grease Monkey would pay for it plus refund me at least a portion of what I paid for all the inconvenience. This store's manager was out of town so I had to come back a few days later. When I returned everyone seemed clueless as to my situation but did proceed with taking another look. After a while the manager, I believe his name was Jeff, took me and my boyfriend underneath the platform to explain he had two guys trying to get the oil filter cap off and they just couldn't. He then went on and on about nothing relevant to the present but rather trying to give me an auto lesson about the way "they" make cars and filter caps. He also suggested it was the previous shop I went to for an oil changes' fault because they probably stripped it. After several attempts of trying to steer the conversation to customer service as I understood they were incapable of completing the task and just wanted to know what they could do now we finally returned upstairs away from the rest of the gawking employees. Randy did not answer my phone call. He offered $5 back for the cost of the filter itself. Wasn't going to order a new cap himself. I finally got $20 bucks out of it all before I was about to cry out of frustration and just wanted to leave. From there I went to Firestone, the location I previously had my oil changes but is usually much busier which is the only reason why I went to Grease Monkey in the first place. Without hesitation they scheduled a time the next day to take a look. They found the cap was stripped but was relatively easy to remove with the right tool. Although they, and myself, do not believe this was their fault they ordered a new cap from the dealer for me and we set another appointment. I'm so grateful and appreciative they replaced it absolutely free for me, they made it right when they really didn't have to and I honestly didn't expect them to. FInally after 9 days and 4 trips I got a complete oil change. I will never go to a Grease Monkey again. read more
