I would rate 0 stars if I could. I wasted a total of around 4 hours at this place. My appointment was canceled over the phone by 'zay'.... That day I was promised a FREE oil change, after about two weeks of calling up there every other day to reschedule with him, over and over telling me a different day, making crazy excuses not to do it (such as his DAD dying?!? Like seriously.) at this point I spoke with management and they promised they would fix his errors but only 50% off. I should have left it there, and never returned. I set the appointment, the day I get there they mentioned nothing to me, UNTIL they are done, and come to surprise no discount at all. Manager border line RUDE, first time I called to enquire what a transmission flush entailed, was told remove old fluid and flush, for $179.00 plus taxes and fees, add new fluid and filter, decided ok truck has over a hundred thousand and could use a Trany flush, the work took about 20-25 minutes, thought to myself that was really fast but ok they weren't busy. upon getting home I looked under the truck at the transmission and noticed no bolts were removed checked the fluid and it looked kind of new, so call and spoke to manager to explain to me exactly what was done on my Trany flush, well that obviously didn't set well with him because his tone of voice changed and started to raise his voice at my questioning about what wasn't done, processed to ask me the year and milage on truck, say's no filter and or warranty on that many miles, HUH!!! why the h*** couldn't he have told me that in the very beginning. will not recommend and or do business with this place ever again, now that's some "EXPENSIVE" Trany fluid BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

So I was in a pinch and needed a quick oil change to get my car ready for a quick trip out of town. I made an appointment at good year to have my car serviced for an oil change and on the day of my appointment they called to tell me they didn't have anything available the day of my appointment and wanted me to reschedule. I gave a quick call to grease monkey and they had my car in and out in under 30 minutes! Quicker than my local Walmart lube center. I was extremely happy with the quick service and the phone calls informing me of service stages. I would definitely refer them to anyone needing a no hastle quick oil change. read more

I wanted to surprise my husband with new wiper blades on his truck. The crew at the Grease Monkey in Westminster installed quality replacement blades, checked the fluids and tire pressure, cleaned the windshield and I was on my way in less than half an hour. This is an above average oil change station. Looking at it from all aspects, here are my cheers and jeers. Pros: * Clean waiting room with a large TV displaying trivia to help pass the time. They even had a mini fridge stocked with free beverages. * Full staff - there were plenty of mechanics on hand to tackle a busy Saturday. * Along with your full service oil change, they wash your windows, check all your lights and vacuum the floor of your car. They even left a carnation flower on the dashboard at the end of the service! * Everyone was very friendly. Definitely some good customer service going on here. When checking out, he let me know if flashing my AAA card would save me more than my $5.00 coupon. Thanks! Cons: * Very pushy on sales and add-ons here. I don't know anything about cars, so when they start throwing technical terms and parts and suggestions around, I get nervous. Thankfully my husband was there to translate, but what if he wasn't? Not sure I'd feel as comfortable going there. * Due to the little extras they perform, you may have a little longer wait as opposed to going elsewhere. Which, to me, isn't a bad thing at all, but to those of you who are in a time crunch, could make a difference. So, as much as I hate to cheat on my beloved Valvoline Instant Oil Change center, this place is just closer and I had a decent first experience. read more

I've been coming here off and on for the past 8 years or so. I moved out of Arvada so obviously didn't come here. The last two years I've been coming here pretty regarly now that I reside in Arvada. Even though I had free oil changes on my new car from Chevrolet Autonation dealership, their wait was ridiculous and scheduling an appointment was ridiculous so I would rather come here and pay. They always have cookies, coffee and suckers so if you need a snack you're covered. They don't push you to get a service right away if you don't have the money, but do educate you on what your car needs. They always vacuum your car too and are good about sending discounts in the mail, so be sure to check your mail box before going in. read more

Grease monkey plays on people's ignorance to get a bigger sale. The company I work for used to use grease monkey for oil changes on all of our work vans and without fail every single time they tried to sell us new air filters (one time they were brand new filters and they still tried because they assumed we didn't know) my girlfriend went in to get an oil change and they told her she needs the filters, made it seem like there is no way around it. Even though my air doesn't even work in my car. I called them back after I found out because a $59 visit turned into $105 and the guy told me there's nothing he can do. I asked him why they would recommend filters in a car that doesn't have working air and he said they don't check that. The point of this post is to tell everyone THEY WILL TRY TO SELL YOU EXTRA SHIT NO MATTER WHAT. Whether you need it or not they can come up with some excuse to say why you need it to cover their own ass but really they just want the extra pay. When you go here be a brick wall and tell them you want absolutely nothing except what you came in asking for because they will take advantage of anyone they can. Overall it was a shitty experience. I paid twice as much as I wanted and the guy on the phone was a dick, had no customer service skills and is obviously practicing shady work tactics. My entire company decided to stop using grease monkey for similar reasons and now I definitely won't be using them in my personal life either even though they are right next to home. So after my oil change, I noticed the truck has been dropping oil in my driveway. first a drop or two the day after, i figured was residual from the change. This morning i noticed its still dropping and i've gone from 2 lil drops to about 10 little drops, so its continually happening. This afternoon while running some errands I took the truck back and explained to them what happened, my concerns and what can they do about it. 1. The tech who took my paperwork, Mario, was completely understanding and apologetic. He took my truck in the bay and checked the oil filter, oil plug and frame. He found that some old oil had spilled on the frame when the oil was changed. He cleaned the frame of my truck with brake cleaner to get it all off, and topped off my washer fluid. 2. The manager (?) Darrell took my complaint about the coupon and gave me 5 bucks out of the register, (proper paperwork and signature of course.) Now I'm satisfied. The manager showed some concern with the names of the techs during the offending visit and they remedied the situation with the oil drop, 5 bucks I was previously burned for and the washer fluid. I caught them on 2 occasions not doing things they said they had done including checking my tire pressure (it was low after I drove off) and changing my oil (oil was dark after I left and checked it). When I confronted the owner after the first time, he was very rude and lied about it to my face. I will never go here again. read more

I pulled up for a oil change for my kid's car. The young, round faced, clean shaving kid that saw me pull up,, put his hands on his head and proceed to shake his head 'no'. I went into this location awhile back for an oil change and a tire rotation. They were able to get my car into a bay right away and starting working on it immediately. Their lobby had cold water to drink while we waited, that was really nice on a hot summer day. They also have benches outside you can sit on while you wait. They also vacuum your car and wash the outside of the windows! The service was great, but after I left I noticed my car had started pulling to the right. I thought that maybe the tread on my tires had changed (from the rotation) and that driving it would make it even out again. About after a month of driving it around, nothing had changed and my car was still pulling to the right a lot. I went back to Grease Monkey and they were very helpful. They first check the pressure and changed that some, had me do a test drive and it was still pulling. So they offered to rotate the tires back so I agreed and I went for another test drive and my car started driving straight again. Something weird is going on with my tires lol but the men at Grease Monkey were very patient and very willing to help me figure out what the problem was. They also gave me $20 in coupons because the tire rotation got switched back to how it normally was and they wanted to make sure I was taken care of. Ive been going here for a while now with both my bmw car and ford car but as i went in today around 4 i left my car for a full oil change and was not notified my car would stay over night actually until monday because i never recieved a call to be told if my car was ready or not i would have not mined to at least be notifed they would keep it. I hope they will call me on monday morning saying its ready. read more

Super satisfied! They got me into the bay right away and were very fast. They discovered a few blown fuses and even checked on a few extras when I asked which I was grateful for. They weren't pushy at all when I declined the extra purchases and services. The lobby was clean and they offer free WiFi while you wait as well as cookies and bottled water. WARNING WOMEN.....I had went to this Grease Monkey location for years until I realized that Marty the manager was in cohoots with Andy Automotive on West 88th ave. in Westminster. My last visit they said my oil pan gasket leaks x3 and that my front differentials were leaking and needed to be replaced. After talking with my son about this, he said I needed to go to his mechanic because every time I take it to Grease Monkey they always said I needed some work done on my car and recommended Andy's automotive. So I took my car to Import mechanics and asked them to check out my car without telling them what Grease Monkey said and they came up with nothing. Then I show them the paperwork from Grease Monkey and they said they found non of that wrong with my car. I then went back to Grease Monkey and asked for a copy of my service record, (spoke with Marty) and told him I had taken my car to a different mechanic and he said oh by the way Chris that work we said need to be done on your car just ignore that, there is nothing wrong. I told I know, Import Mechanics found nothing wrong with my car. So ladies beware if they recommend Andy's Automotive or offer to do the work themselves on the side..... I never thought that Marty would do this to me. I trusted him.... Oh and Marty I know where you DIDN'T put those breaks on my car....What goes around comes around.... read more
