Raymond and Leslie were very helpful replacing my dead battery. AAA did not have the battery I needed but Grease Monkey did. Leslie tracked down a battery for me and it was there before I arrived. Raymond installed it in just 15 minutes. Grease Monkey just made a customer for life as long as they have high quality people like Raymond and Leslie. read more

Friendly staff and reasonably priced compared to doing it at the dealership, most services are first come first serve. But don't let that deter you from coming by, they had me out of there in less than forty minutes on a Sunday morning. They do a lot more than just change oil and are positioning to be a full service mechanic. read more

Without any knowledge except "switch won't roll up driver window" a vehicle tech claimed to know exactly what was wrong with it and needed to literally "remove rivets" to "swap out lines," what "lines" you may ask... no one knows! The person quoting doesn't even know how modern tracks on a car windows work! The actuation switch went bad and these guys were basically telling me everything inside my driver door was bad And that it would take them till Tuesday starting from Saturday to finish said job. Well, needles to say I ran away at high speeds! 20 minutes on YouTube later and I have my window up now. Worst location of all the grease monkeys been using them for not just my vehicles, but also my company vehicles but never again took my truck in to get an oil change they up sold me on fuel cleaner and a few other thing my car is still smokein when it wasn't doing that before they worked on it so I took it back and now they saying it's not them it's another issue that wasn't there until they did whatever they did and left my car shooting out white smoke now I have to take it to another mechanic to figure out what's wrong with it because when I took it back, no one knew how to fix the problem did they made only person that kw anything helpful where's the mechanic? And the manger Donnell scolded him for being honest with a customer and not trying to scam and charge More for something that they didn't need he is a very shady and fast talking person don't trust anything he says I will come back with an update once I get a second look to see what they messed up if you can prove they messed up your car you can sue for damages read more

I've been coming here for years, spent thousands of dollars, generally positive experience. Leaving a 1 star review for the new guy: Hispanic, tattoo behind his right ear. Super unhelpful and rude so I left and got my issue solved at the grease monkey on Colfax. read more

Spoke to Scottie and Rose about an oil change and front/rear differential flush completed at a different location. The other location had not completed everything I paid for and there was a new leak with a subsequent check engine light that came on as a warning. Rose confirmed they would fix the issues free of charge; Scottie knew who I was as soon as I pulled in and got to work on the repairs; and the awesome guys in the pit worked expertly and quickly. I was in and out in a little over an hour. Would highly recommend this location and would definitely return! Thank you to the entire team at this location! P.S. Also, thanks to Scottie for all the Jeep recommendations! read more

I needed my oil changed on Mother's Day & this location was open & I got in immediately! I was met with a smile and the reassurance I would be taken care of Edward proceeded to make me feel comfortable and genuinely took note of my need to take extra care about my car. I had to pressure him to tell me what my car needed....where most of the places shove that crap in your face with no real merit...just concern for the $$ going to the business! He was surprised I really did want to know & gave me his honest concerns & what was necessary to get my car in prime condition! We had funny banter and even connected about our love for old cars! I felt like I finally found a unicorn mechanic after 9 years of searching! I will bring all my cars here & give gratitude in the highest for being treated with kindness & quick service too! Edward's a unicorn & genuine good guy! Thank you for making me feel important and confident about my car's safety! I even got out of there for less than $200 with my coupon & the recommended needs for my car! Can't beat that!!!!! read more

Never come to this location. Needed my oil change to drive across country. I arrived in CT after 28 hours of drivlong just to find out they didn't change my filter... cheapest part you could find and you want to screwing over customers... brilliant read more

I (F) was rudely told on the phone when I asked if I needed to check before coming in if they had the right air filter for my car, "ha no honey, I think we can figure it out". Then we I got there later that day. They said they did everything I asked for. when I went to pay I asked about the air filter and was told that no, they don't have one that fits my car. I explained my phone call and asked if they could call around to other shops I could go to that would have the right filter. They refused and the only solution they offered was for me to walk across the street to a parts store to get an air filter. I asked what I need to know to get the correct one. The little information they told me was not enough to get the right one. So, I ended up with the wrong filter. And finally just left to go find a mechanic who doesn't talk down to me and actually does what they say they will do. read more

I was fortunate to have Wendy greet me and get my oil change started today. My Xterra was promptly serviced and I was soon on my way. Every Grease Monkey I go to has the same high level of customer service. I have been into this location several times, and the conditions of the building are absolutely terrible. You can see mold on the walls inside the waiting room. Everything is dirty, the lobby is not clean, the bathroom is atrocious, there's holes in the wall. The lobby was extremely cold. There is no coffee or anything warm to drink. and there never is. When I asked one of the employees why it was so cold, his response was we have been without heat for over 6 weeks and this particular day just happened to be -0 degrees. He was only 1 employee working a really young guy possibly early 20's and  I heard the Manager ( Female) say " Do the best you can, ok "  and went back into the office which led me to believe she was not going to help this young man and  this young man had little to no experience, so my friend, declined to have their car worked on, and we went somewhere else. read more

The only grease monkey in Denver that I genuinely don't dread coming too. The staff are great and so knowledgeable. They got me in quick during a traffic hour day of the week in about 15-20min. They didn't try to fix or replace things I didn't need. Additionally, they explained and recommended a service for my car that I had not known about which turned out it did need it. Y'all are great keep doing what you're doing and teaching newbies the same thing! read more

Went in for a routine oil change on my car earlier this year at this Grease Monkey location. 79 miles from the sticker, my car's engine is locked up on the side of the road. Upon further investigation, the oil filter had completely vibrated loose from the bottom of the car. Whether incorrect filter, or improper installation of the filter, i'm now left with no car. No compensation from corporate or the store itself. A friendly reminder to check things out after getting your oil change done at these chain stores. read more

I would like to acknowledge an employee by the name of Gnome a.k.a Nick. His professionalism, customer service, and apparent honestly about the assessment of my vehicle was helpful. Nick took his analyzing of my 2000 Honda Accord seriously like it were his own vehicle. I appreciate mechanics like this as I am a woman and fearful sometimes of the stereotype that mechanics get of trying to take advantage of female customers. I felt confrontable with his suggestion and immediate cure for my vehicle as I was told by another store something completely different. Thank You Nick for your work! Sincerely, Yvette Crowe read more

WARNING! On 3/4/24 I brought my car in for an oil change. After a long wait the mechanic told me the job couldn't be done because a wire is in the way. Told me it was a liability issue. So I went to Jiffy Lube the next day told them what they said and they didn't see a wire but they did notice that there was ABSOLUTELY NO OIL IN THE CAR. Grease monkey drained the oil but didn't replace it and sent me on my way. I will never bring my car back to this place. Horrible service in every way. Rude employees and incompetent. Zero quality, zero rating on service, and you could have blown my engine. read more

My favorite part of this place is the service countdown clocks that reset when they reach zero. The one my car was waiting for reset twice before they ever took it in (it was next in line). All told it took over an hour for an oil change even though there were only 3 other people there. What earns them the one star is they got grease all over my car! It's not a new car, but it is new to me and l try to keep it nice. I didn't appreciate having to clean the seats after waiting that long for a simple oil change. In addition, they got some on the windshield, which really sucked to get off. read more

I had wonderful service for my oil change. They actually did not recommend the most expensive, which surprised me. I had a great price on semi synthetic how high mileage service package. My air filter was way overdue I knew this and they gave me a great replacement better than the one I had in there and a very good price. They perfectly adjusted my tire pressure better than I've ever done. Vehicle drives like new and I'm very happy with the service. I highly recommend. read more

I will NEVER refer anyone to this location again. I've lived in the area a used this Greasemonkey for over 10 years and multiple vehicles. I took my wife's car, 2013 Ford Focus, in for a basic oil change and was told, by the location manager, that he/they would not do the service because...wait for it...wait... The engine was making too much noise!! I have NEVER been told any such thing about any vehicle at any other automotive service provider!! No explanation just he/they wouldn't do the work. Crappy service, crappy location and with that... I'M DONE read more

This place is a disaster. I got my oil changed earlier this year and asked for new windshield wiper blades. The person at the counter said that if I paid in cash my total would be $50. Unfortunately for them I used a credit card, so I paid around $80. A few months later my car wasn't running as well so I took it to the dealership. Turns out the GM staff didn't top off any of the fluids and they installed broken windshield wipers. After all is said and done, I've paid almost $200 for this oil change/wiper replacement. Keep in mind my car is only a few years old and I've been militant about keeping up the maintenance. Avoid at all costs. read more

These guys did me a sold. The last crew who changed my oil ( a 2013 Mini) stripped the oil plug and didn't bother telling ne. I really appreciated it and would recommend them to any who are looking for good old fashioned real service. read more

Extremely friendly staff. They were a bit understaffed today and kept apologizing for having me wait. There is a heat advisory today and no air conditioning in the waiting room. They did not tighten the oil filter, so oil sprayed all over. They also didn't close the air filter box and got oily hand prints all over the white leather interior. I took it back and they did a poor job cleaning it up. I got home to find that the car was still leaking, now through a cross threaded oil fill cap and the oil is below the fill line. This was the most pathetic oil change I have ever seen. I refuse to go back to have the oil topped back off, and will likely have to pay for an oil change at a different location now. Hopefully I can get the oil stains out of my garage floor. read more

I wish I could give less than one stupid star to this place. Had an absolutely horrible experience here. Their workers can't even put a skid plate back on properly. The car is brand new with no previous undercarriage damage or issues. Never in my life have I witnessed not once but twice my skid plates got ripped off after trying to just get home from an oil change. Finally, I went back the third time and just had them remove it because the level of incompetence was just too much to deal with. Heading to a dealership to get their mistakes fixed because they are incapable of completing their jobs properly. read more
