Damage to car

I went to this car wash and now have over $800 worth of damage on a brand new car. I had a quote completed by an auto body shop. I have submitted 2 customer complaints online based on their website this is the only way to get ahold of them. They say 72 hour turnaround time and it's been well over 1 week and I have heard nothing. I have tried calling but their entire phone system is automated. I have tried stopping by and asking for a phone number and they have said "just submit a request online." I have even messaged their instagram with no response.

A massive windshield scratch, thanks to Super Star on 40th

This is my favorite car was. Free vaccum is such a nice perk, in addition to over towels and air fresheners!

I had a flat tire at the end of last week that could not be repaired. They did not have the replacement in stock at that store on Saturday so I went back this morning to have that mounted. The minute I pulled up the manager came out and let me know that he knew exactly why I was there without my having to explain anything. The service was completed in a timely manner and the tire was still under warranty so it was a completely painless procedure. (The waiting area is also more pleasant than many other auto repair facilities --not the most important feature but still an added nicety). Highly recommend this shop.

She was nice about it and did let them know even wrote a note for them. I also left a note inside the truck right on the cluster saying the same. When the truck was done I got in it and heard loud noise I got off the truck and checked it and a piece of my wheel well trim and a piece of plastic from the wheel well liner was all ripped up and crumpled. I will not take any more of my vehicle's here because of this. It just shows that the mechanics working there do not care about the customers vehicle.

Being new to the area, I had no choice but to pick a repair facility from the net. I chose Kearney Garage. After performing an in depth review, they gave me the ($3,000 in repairs) bad news. I chose the lesser $2,000 option. The good news is the final bill came out to $1,500. They were able to save the existing intake manifold. All in all, a completely satisfactory experience. Especially after coming from Detroit. The automotive capital of the world. My special appreciation goes out to Alex. He was warm, courteous and helpful throughout the entire process. Thanks a lot buddy. The car now runs like a dream. I'll take care of the other repairs at a later date.

After nearly three months…read moreof delays and almost $10,000 in costs, I had to tow the car and engine separately to another mechanic. Kearny Garage repeatedly promised to finish the car but failed to do so, overcharged me--including duplicate fees--lost parts I supplied, and damaged existing parts. When the second mechanic completed the work, he found numerous issues with Kearny Garage's repairs, including improperly installed new heads that allowed coolant to leak into the engine and could have destroyed it. Had Kearny Garage completed the work as it was, the engine likely would have failed immediately and required replacement. I then had to spend thousands of dollars correcting Kearny Garage's work, and I was unable to enjoy driving my convertible for months. Kearny Garage presents itself as a locally owned neighborhood auto shop, but it is actually owned by Sun Auto, a national auto service conglomerate. I also learned that the mechanic often takes shortcuts to complete jobs faster than the time billed to customers, and management appears to support that practice. The store manager was arrogant, condescending, and showed little concern for customer service. Fortunately, some locally owned automotive garages remain in the neighborhood and still value customers over profit.

However, when I arrived a few days later for my appointment, I was told by two workers that they don't do appointments (even though I witnessed them scheduling me in??). However, I let this slide since I had arrived at the auto care center a little before opening time, and there were only 2 other cars in front of me. They opened the center 10 minutes late, and the staff members were dragging their feet. I understand that it's early, but by the time they opened, there were already 6 cars lined up - you'd think they'd put in some effort to accommodate the growing line of customers who were patiently waiting. I needed 4 snow tires installed, and this ended up taking nearly 3 hours. And that was with an appointment! Plus, I came 5 minutes before this place opened! Also, I was switching out summer tires with snow tires, but they never gave me back my summer tires. I ended up having to track down the mechanic to ask him to give me my tires (I still need them for next season). My big regret of this week was coming here. I bought my tires from Walmart, but I should've picked them up and taken them to another auto shop. FYI - this Walmart opens at 7am, but their auto care center opens at 8am.

I was there 15 minutes early, and my appointment was from 11:30am to 12:30pm. My truck went into the shop at 12:30pm. When done, the associate informed me that the printer for the mileage sticker wasn't working, and the mileage was on my invoice for the next oil change, which indicated to change my oil at 3,000 miles. The associate said that it was wrong and that 5,000 miles should be taken before the next oil change. When I got home my bug shield was loose so I opened the hood and it was barely hanging on by screw. It could have come off because I got on the highway on my way home. It appears the Mechanic knocked it loose, opening and or closing the hood and never said anything. I will never use Walmart again for auto service.
