I had a flat tire at the end of last week that could not be repaired. They did not have the replacement in stock at that store on Saturday so I went back this morning to have that mounted. The minute I pulled up the manager came out and let me know that he knew exactly why I was there without my having to explain anything. The service was completed in a timely manner and the tire was still under warranty so it was a completely painless procedure. (The waiting area is also more pleasant than many other auto repair facilities --not the most important feature but still an added nicety). Highly recommend this shop.

When the truck was done I got in it and heard loud noise I got off the truck and checked it and a piece of my wheel well trim and a piece of plastic from the wheel well liner was all ripped up and crumpled. I will not take any more of my vehicle's here because of this. It just shows that the mechanics working there do not care about the customers vehicle.

Being new to the area, I had no choice but to pick a repair facility from the net. I chose Kearney Garage. After performing an in depth review, they gave me the ($3,000 in repairs) bad news. I chose the lesser $2,000 option. The good news is the final bill came out to $1,500. They were able to save the existing intake manifold. All in all, a completely satisfactory experience. Especially after coming from Detroit. The automotive capital of the world. My special appreciation goes out to Alex. He was warm, courteous and helpful throughout the entire process. I won't bore you with specifics, but Jesse went above and beyond to answer my many technical questions on an issue I was having with my suspension. I am a demanding consumer and skeptical after many shady experiences of shops with questionable practices and associated overcharging. I have caught more than one dealership and Indy shop with proof of their corner-cutting, as I do a good bit of service and upkeep myself and uncovered their buffoonery, for which I have cold busted them. I have NOT seen any of this with this Brakes Plus location. I will continue to bring my X5 to Jesse for most of my service issues, except those that truly need to be handled by a dealership or an Indy shop with the highest-end diagnostics equipment. If I could, I would give this location zero stars because I had a horrible experience with Brakes…read morePlus on Quebec St. I first brought my Ford Edge in because it was recommended by another mechanic that, based on my car's mileage, it was due for new brake pads. This was the first of four visits I would have to make to this location. Brakes Plus claimed I did not need new pads but I returned a week later because I noticed more vibration when braking. On this second visit, they checked it out and again told me nothing was wrong with the car. Over the next couple days, the vibration persisted and actually got worse. I went back again and Brakes Plus finally agreed to replace the brake pads. Over the next week, the brakes seemed better but all the warning lights came on in my car and it seemed like there was something wrong with the power steering (it became difficult to back up and turn the wheel). I returned to Brakes Plus yet again and this time the owner agreed to pay for a full diagnostic to investigate what was wrong. I went to another mechanic for the diagnostics. They found a larger issue that ended up costing me another $2000. After researching the issue, it appears Brakes Plus may have failed to follow an important protocol needed when making repairs on a Ford Edge. This is a known issue with Brakes Plus and the info can be found on the internet. When I returned to the Quebec location, I showed them the invoice from the other mechanic but they refused to make good on their promise to even pay for the diagnostics, let alone the additional repairs I was out of pocket for ($2K).

I went in for a basic oil change and car inspection. The staff was cordial, courteous, and prompt, which I really appreciated. Customer service was definitely a strong point. I was able to point out a few things myself that were initially missed, and it seemed like the technician performing the inspection may have been new, as they needed guidance from more experienced team members. Because of this, I don't feel completely confident that the inspection was as comprehensive as it should have been. I was there 15 minutes early, and my appointment was from 11:30am to 12:30pm. My truck went into the shop at 12:30pm. When done, the associate informed me that the printer for the mileage sticker wasn't working, and the mileage was on my invoice for the next oil change, which indicated to change my oil at 3,000 miles. The associate said that it was wrong and that 5,000 miles should be taken before the next oil change. When I got home my bug shield was loose so I opened the hood and it was barely hanging on by screw. It could have come off because I got on the highway on my way home. It appears the Mechanic knocked it loose, opening and or closing the hood and never said anything. I will never use Walmart again for auto service.
