Simply wasting my time. Went in today with my partner to get our oil changed on the car. Before arriving we setup an appointment the day before. We got there 15-20 minutes early since we had another appointment set later on for the day. Technicians had a lack of care for our time. When It came down to getting the replacement air-filter we told them we were ready to leave but insisted on continuing to work on our vehicle. The technician offered us a "20 dollar coupon" for our time, however that was the discount coupon we got before even arriving to get serviced. Then when trying to leave the technician leaves the keys with themselves having me run back to get them from him. Back in October I came here for an oil change. At the time I was also hearing a weird screeching sound coming from my front tire so I asked Charles if he had any idea what it might be. This place is the best! Our car started giving a low level of oil on a road trip. We topped it off to get home but the cap and tube had fallen off. Charles, who manages it, drove me to Prestige Audi across town after calling them to find the missing parts. Then Dustin, the assistant manager, walked me through my entire oil change and educated me on what I actively needed. They spent over two hours will me and never upsold me on anything. Took my car to this Grease Monkey in Spring of 2022 for an oil change. My car is a 2015 Subaru and has less than 60,000 miles on it. The tech offered a recommended fuel line clean out, he told me it would lower my gas mileage. I waited all day for a call the car was finished, the store was about to close so I called them, the gentleman on the phone put me on hold. Another employee answered the phone and informed me that during the clean out of the fuel line the entire underside of my car was lit on fire. We immediately went to the store ourselves, the gentleman behind the counter, instead of apologizing - brought up a list of common issues with my make and model, none of which had anything to do with the cause of the fire. He never apologized. The worst customer service. We then dealt with the Manager at the time who reassured us that there was little damage and he would get it fixed. At no time were we offered a rental car, still we were very understanding. We called repeatedly over the next few weeks, there was always a reason the car wasn't ready. AFTER 6 weeks without my vehicle my car was supposedly fixed. I drove it 7 miles before the check engine lights came on. I drove it to my Dad's machine shop in Parker, CO and we called the Manager. We had his direct phone number by that time. My Dad ended up replacing the CO2 sensor himself and was given a $300 check for the part. After 6 weeks, we received $300 total for this mess. I never wrote a review because we trusted the Manager was fixing the problem, surely it must've been an accident and they would do everything they could to fix it. Well, here I am almost 2 years later, check engine lights go on - take it to a different mechanic. (obviously have never been back to a Grease Monkey). Come to find out it will cost me $4,000 to replace the catalytic converters that are essentially melted on the inside from the fire. There is harness damage from the fire, wiring damage, and sensors that were replaced to hide the damage to the catalytic converters. Now we made some mistakes, we trusted they would right their wrong, we never demanded a rental car or a check, and we never sued them for this accident. The biggest mistake was not getting the car inspected by another Shop before letting Grease Monkey fix the damage they had caused. This is an unfortunate life lesson, I will never recommend Grease Monkey, especially this location, to anyone. read more

Never go here! I asked them to change my oil and check my tire (my gauge said 1 of my tires was low). I waited for 4 hours (they quoted me 2) which was fine, they were backed up. When I got home, my tire was leaking and completely flat within 10 minutes. I called to see if they had actually checked my tire and the manager said that they don't do that there, which was not something either of the technicians had told me when I had asked about it. I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THE HONESTY AND RESPONSIBILITY I ACTUALLY GAVE HIM A TIP. Great place! On my F250 power-stroke I had the radiator flushed, transmission fluid exchanged and the oil changed. They had all that done in under an hour. That would of been at least a half day at a regular mechanic shop. Then I had another problem with the truck and Derrick took care of it right away. I was so impressed with the honesty and responsibility I actually gave him a tip. When is anyone so happy with their experience at a mechanic shop they give them a tip? I imagine not very often. John new my trucks specs and fluid capacity right of, which was pleasant because most don't and I usually have to make sure it is done right because of the how much fluids my truck takes. These guys did a great job. I was in-and-out of here in the amount of time they told me I would be. They didn't push for other services but merely brought them up to my attention. Everyone was super professional and courteous and I had a great all around experience. A couple notes. First, my mechanic told me you go to these places only for an oil change. My review is only for the oil change. Second, the 1-star reviews are from 'yelpers' with no real name, no friends, and only 1 review. Makes you wonder... The only thing I don't like about this place is that they clean your car but they ALWAYS use a dirty rag on your windows so I come out of there with smeared (interior) windows rather than clean ones. There is so much up sell at this location its ridiculous. Nothing makes me more irate than a place I'm getting my oil changed to drag out my cabin filter. Is it filthy? Yes. Do I want you dragging the dirty contents across my seat when you take it out from behind my jockey box? No. My car is dirty enough as it is. The guy behind the counter made it seem to be my problem, as in "You should have told me not to take it it out." I didn't ask you to check it for your ridiculous up sell at all. I don't expect much when visiting a car maintenance place, but this one exceeded all (if any) of my expectations. Sure, no one really truly enjoys going to get their oil changed, wiper fluid replaced, or any of the above, but Grease Monkey manages to make it a lovely experience. From the really kind employees that greet you at the door and don't make you feel stupid at all for entering the garage the completely wrong way to the cookies (okay - maybe I had 1...or 2...or 3) and free coffee inside - they have the process down. However, that brings me to my only issue, which isn't their fault at all - they just need a smoother way to enter and exit their strangely located garage. There's not only much room to maneuver you car in and out of there, but not a lot of signage to indicate what to do, as well. Nevertheless, they don't overcharge you for this you don't need and seem to just want to provide the best service for you. Plus, they were quick and so friendly. This is my go-to Grease Monkey...when I get my card for $5 off I head over. Their customer service is top notch. I called before heading over and asked if they had an air filter for my car (they didn't last time). So they looked and told me no. I asked them if I dropped off my car and walked over to the Napa across the street would they put it in for me and they said sure. So I told them I'd be right over. Ten minutes later I pull up and they said "we went ahead and purchased the air filter for you". Not only did they purchase it for me, they charged me for the filter at cost, which since they get a discount at Napa and I don't, it was about $4 cheaper. Help me, I can't put air in my tires! This place is a chain but they seem pretty consistant. They are nice- even when I'm not wearing a short skirt. They are super fast- oil change about 10 mins or less. Complimentary bottled water and cookies in the waiting area. Good hours- From 7am- 7pm Reasonably priced and coupons are usually floating around in junk mail They clean your windows, vacuum and leave a candy on the dash. I just went to this location in distress because my rear tire would not inflate! Most shops close at 6pm and it was 630pm!!! Been to this Grease Monkey twice recently with different cars and both times Scott (I think) was super friendly and helpful. First time in I had a few services due and he helped me decide which one I needed more at that time and which could wait a little bit. This time I was checked in by a nice young man (Thomas) who seemed a bit new but was really trying to do his job right and remember everything, get in his little upsell that they all have to do, but he was very sweet. The other guy (William?) who worked with me this time on a recently purchased older vehicle again helped me choose critical items to get done (didn't have a service history to go off of what needed to be done but the oil was really dirty so I assumed most everything needed to be done). He explained everything I had questions on and gave me some guidance but didn't try any scare tactics or talk down to me and told me when the fluids looked good and didn't need service). Both times I was in were very pleasant, the guys were helpful and cheerful and didn't try anything beyond showing me the air filter (which they always do every where since the beginning of time). I got the car in a hair before ten and they had everything done by 12:30 as promised (an oil change, transmission service, radiator flush, differential and transfer case). If you don't want to wait or need a lot done, get in early. At 9:30ish on a Monday there was only one car there, but by 12:30 they had a line. read more

I'm not saying this is the best automotive experience I've had, but after my run of bad luck, it certainly was a pleasant change of pace. Had my oil changed here not too long ago. They got me in and out of there in no time, and all the guys helping out in the garage were polite and seemed genuinely nice. The manager took my info (and money) at the counter, and another one of the service associates took the time to talk to me about a belt that needed replacing and my air filter that was nasty. They vacuumed the inside of my car, too. No small feat. The cost was fair and you can download coupons from their website. A few weeks after getting the oil changed and steering fluid topped off, the car started screaming again on the cold days. You know that noise. Ear piercing, horrible screaming. So, I brought the car back. The guys took a look at it and explained to me that while two of the belts had recently been replaced, the third belt was in tatters and was the reason behind the squealing. They said they could replace it, but that it would take a couple hours. No sweat. I brought it in the next morning and dropped it off. An hour later, the owner of the franchise calls to apologize to me for having to charge me labor costs, and noted that had the previous guys who replaced my belts been ethical, they would have mentioned that you have to take out the alternator and a bunch of other big pieces in order to reach all three belts. He said the AC belt did not just suddenly fall apart. Had they taken care of all three at the same time, it would have saved me at least $60. I just told him I trusted they wouldn't take advantage of me and to do what they needed to do. $180 later, I have a car that doesn't scream and an air filter that is stunning. I am a busy female....I had a worker take my infiniti to Grease Monkey out of pure convenience. I gave him cash and said: please change my oil and have my tires rotated. I was going on a road trip and figured it was time to get my 4 month old tires rotated. When my assistant returned he informed me they wouldnt rotate my tires without an allignment. I was annoyed and called to voice my annoyance....the guy on the phone informed me that they promise to do only what is needed. He said i did not need a rotation but it looked like I could use an allignment (a service he wasnt going to make any money on because they dont do allignments). Went here for a simple oil change. These guys completely messed it up. After less than a month oil was leaking and burning in my car. I called the dealership and they had me bring my Subaru in. They told me the filter wasn't on properly and was causing the oil to spill out and Burn all through my car. They had to re-do the oil change. I called customer service at Grease Monkey to tell them about the issue and the manager of the franchise called me the next day. He told me to send him the pictures and he apologized and said he'd get back to me the next day. That was about a month ago. I have since followed up with three emails and called the store again with no resolution or return call back. So much for 'satisfaction guaranteed.' All I wanted was a simple refund for the services I paid for that were not provided to me. Will never go back to a grease monkey again. Especially this location! read more

I had an issue with a damaged front headlight housing and he voluntarily made a call to a salvage yard to see if they had the part I needed. I was so impressed with that. Arrived at 8:23 on a Wednesday for a high-mileage oil change on my 2007 Forester. I was greeted right away by Nate who professionally and clearly explained my options for an oil change. I did not feel significant pressure on the up sell; everything was written clearly on his clipboard. There were no issues with speaking too quickly or condescendingly. There was a clean waiting room with water and coffee. No burned coffee smell that's so common. Jessie, the technician, came in around 8:40 and explained recommended services but again no high-pressure and told me the service would be completed shortly. I was checked out and back on the road at 8:50. The total high mileage oil change was $55.00 My only negative is that they do have you get out of your car for the service. I know this is an industry standard, but prior to moving I was using a Valvoline Oil Change Center in Colorado Springs where you could remain in the vehicle. It always seemed more efficient to me and nice to not have someone else drive your car moving the seat,etc. I'm definitely comfortable going back to this Grease Monkey next time. read more

My experience was awesome however, When they checked my windshield wiper blades they didn't clip the blade back on fully so it almost flew off on the freeway when I turned it on while it was raining. So I had to get out of my car in the rain to put my windshield wiper back together because one of their associates didn't doublecheck it was on right when they got done. read more

I was greeted very friendly and got to pull my vehicle around right away . I didn't see any name tags but everyone there was so kind and patient considering I don't know much about vehicles . They made recommendations but weren't pushy . They fixed me up and got me on the road really quickly ! When I went to get into my truck a mechanic even jumped up and opened my door for me . The worst service I've ever had and the most expensive oil change I've ever had... So the first thing I got a $10 off coupon in the mail so I thought I'd use it at the 901 West 8th Avenue location in Denver. And it took them an hour and a half to get it done and they weren't that busy, and when I go to pay my bill it's over $100 for an oil change on a four-cylinder engine... With my $10 off coupon it was a little over $90... So then I go home and I check my oil I usually always change my oil but this time just didn't really have time to do it and for the first time in my life I went to Grease monkey to change my oil and I certainly regretted it... When I checked my oil the oil was still old, and very dark, I then proceeded to buy more oil and a new oil filter and change my own oil the next day... The next day I checked my oil dipstick after only driving to work which is only 5 mi away and my oil level was only a quarter high on the dipstick.... So I proceeded to change my oil and I found that they reused my old oil plug gasket which was bad and it was looking for my oil plug and if I hadn't caught it in time my engine would have seized up.. also it looked like my original oil filter was on there which was a purolator oil filter which is what I always use now I don't know if they use the same oil filter as I do but when I was a tech back in the day we would initial our oil filters and we would Mark our oil drain plugs as well and neither of these were done..... For one I'm never taking my car back there again and I'm going to make sure to tell everyone else not to take their vehicles there and I want to talk to somebody in charge the owner of this business and tell them about my experience. read more

Waited 2.5 hours for an oil change and flush power steering fluid. This was much longer than expected and there was only one vehicle ahead of me. Usually grease monkey is very timely about services, but this time was much longer than they told me. They did not reset the service reminder notification in my car. STAY FAR AWAY!!! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS LOCATION OR ANY GREASE MONKEY FOR THIS MATTER! I took my Chevorlet Camaro in to have a transmission flush done, just to be proactive. However it took them 6 hours to complete it. When the average time for a transmission flush is 45 minutes to 1 hour. Their explanation was we are trying to hook our machine to your battery to flush fluid out! By charging their maching from my battery they killed my battery that same day! After the flush was completed i drove the vehicle twice and with in a 1 week span by the time i went to drive it again my transmission would not go into 3rd gear. I now have it in a shop and they said that the old fluid was not flushed out and new fluid was added causing the pump in my transmission to burn up resulting in 1800 dollars in transmission repairs. I tried calling this location spoke with Brett Clark (the manager/ owner) who was really unprofessional by the way! I called simply to see if there was anything they could do to help me out. His response was that i was being suspicious because i never brought it back in well go figure the transmission was blown and Grease monkey is not a repair shop! So a 150 dollar transmission flush turned into a 1800 dollar rebuild and a 100 dollar battery! read more
