When you're new to an area, it is always stressful to find a mechanic and a good one. I simply came here because of the convenience of the location. I can literally walk faster to this business from my apartment than drive haha I brought in my older Volvo (2006) with two issues: turn signals not working and front under running light falling off. A special part had to be ordered to fix the turn signal. It was ordered on a Friday and arrived on Monday. I was impressed by the prompt delivery! They were able to install on Monday. Unfortunately, after the installation of the new part, there was still no connection and the problem could not be fixed by them. They told me they were unable to fix because they do not have the technology to read the Volvo electric board - understandable. I have to go see a Volvo specialist. They were able to find some screws and fix my light easily! Even though the major issue was not fixed, I was happy with my experience here. Because they could not fix my issue there was no charge! Only place I get my Mercedes Benz serviced. Had them do a variety of services including brake light replacement, oil changes, etc. never been haggled once to get service I don't need. In fact, I've said multiple times that I think I need new tires or brake pads (not a car guy I don't know when these things need changed) and they always turn me away instead of doing a service I don't need. I have found my mechanics in Denver! I went in for 4 new tires. A mechanic called and asked about my brakes... and yes... I "had a feeling" that i needed breaks.. welllllllll, the mechanic said i needed 4 tires, 4 brakes, 4 rotors, and a caliper " I haven't seen brakes this bad in about 20 yrs." Honestly, it sounded about right. I signed up for 6month interest free card, got 250 monies back w/rebate I think everything out the door was $1700 w/ rebate... $1450. While i was waiting for them to finish my car, I heard the customer service person tell a customer on the phone that they in face DO NOT NEED BRAKES. Staff were friendly and professional. They were even prepared to stay late on a Friday so we could pick up the car after we finished work! Definitely commend them for that. Went in because I had a flat tire and ended up having to buy new tires. Upon return of my vehicle they left whatever sticky lubricant/glue they use to place the tires all over my tires and rims. I still had to physically wipe down my rims after taking it to the car wash and noticed parts of my rims were scratched. Careless and sloppy. I would not recommend. read more

Got a flat near this location, they claimed it wasn't repairable and tried to sell me new tire(s). Also got the "tire dust" story mentioned in another review! Something didn't seem right. Long story short, I took the tire elsewhere and it was indeed repairable. Sure would have been nice to get some honest help when needed. We had one tire that needed replacing due to some embedded metal and a bulge, which can't be repaired. All other tires were relatively new (15 months old). They made up a story about needing to replace all 4 or there would be damage to the drive train. Im assuming this is a ploy for them to sell you 4 new tires, charge you for disposal of your original tires, and then resell your used tires. We went to Firestone. They sold us one tire with no mention of needing to replace the others. I recommend Firestone. read more

I would not advise going here, especially if you are a women. I made an appointment online since i got an offer for $30 off for an oil change. Arrived the next day for my oil change 20 minutes before my appt time. Upon walking in all the employees were chatting in the lobby, no one was working. I was 20 minutes early but somehow they knew exactly who i was. The employees shuffled as no one wanted to be the one to tell me they wouldn't take me because they "book out a week in advance" yet mind you everyone was chit chatting when i walked in not working. They let me know they could take me in a week but the deal wouldn't apply and i wouldn't get 50% off. i said i was never getting 50% off, it was $30 off of $90 lol. he said well your VW takes European oil so it will be $140 instead of the $60 listed online. I said nevermind and left. They said they called me the day prior to let me know, but of course i didn't answer because i at work. They didn't think to cancel my appointment or call me the day of my appt. My car takes synthetic oil not european oil lol i rolled up in a VW not no benz or audi. Online it told me there was appts available and even showed me the recommended!!! oil for my car exactly as well as the price. They were just looking to take an advance of a woman. I had gotten my oil change here which I thought was an excellent service but unfortunately my update is not positive. It was time for my next oil change and although I was planning on coming back here, I was not in the area and decided to go somewhere closer to home. I figured it was going to be a standard oil change like any other however I got some very upsetting news from my mechanic who was working on my vehicle. After I went to pick up my car, my mechanic had asked if I got my oil change done at home by someone because the condition of the last oil change was not done correctly. Not only was it not done correctly but was done so reckless that it could have caused damage to my vehicle in the long run. All of my access panel bolts were loose and the oil drain plug was also loose (as though someone hand tightened it). They also reused the same oil filter and did not replace it. Now I don't know much about cars but the mechanic stated I was leaking oil the entire time it was at the shop waiting for my turn and that thankfully I had enough oil left. If I came in any later, it would have damaged my car. While I'm extremely grateful to know this, I'm very disappointed with the quality of work. I will never return here again let alone recommend them. read more

The woman that worked here was so insanely rude to me and right after I told her I was going to spend $700 on two tires. Yeah no thanks I think I'll have my car back now.. worst customer service ever. I have never been treated this badly inside of a business before. I showed up 10 minutes after they closed and this woman would not let me in to get inside my car and instead called the cops on me, politely asking if I could access my car briefly, do not give these people your money. I'm really disappointed in my experience with Goodyear. I have an Infiniti Qx60 that notifies me if I'm losing tire pressure. I brought my car in to have my tires replaced with an older set that I have (switching them out), after I got a flat tire. As you have to replace all four tires at once, I paid them $100 to switch the two sets out. After leaving my vehicle with them all day, I picked up my car and I was thrilled to have the Tire pressure warning disappear! Within one mile of driving my car...it was back on, my right front tire lost all pressure and I was back to a flat. As a tire company, one might that they would check the tires that they are charging me to put on my car. I do not believe it is possible that it would go unnoticed, for in less than 5 minutes, my indicator late was back on. I would have been happy to buy a new set of tires (which I did), if they had not wasted my time and money. read more

We were traveling across country from Vegas and made our first stop in Denver. We woke the next morning to find a tire with a slow leak and almost flat. We are Firestone people but the nearest Firestone was too busy to help at 7am so we made our way to this Goodyear location. They fit us in immediately AND allowed me to wait in their waiting room with our dog. Luke was our mechanic and he was so kind and did a great job. Front desk attendants were friendly and we had a few laughs. I will now be transferring all of my vehicle business to Goodyear. I truly have a renewed belief in good customer service! I took my car here because I had a small leak in the tire , they called me 6 hours later and told me my tire was not fixable because it had "tire dust" inside it. They told me they could get a new tire in the next day and it would be $365 total. I took my car to Costco tire center the next day, they found a screw in that same tire, patched it and I was on my way. Moral of the story, they lied, tried to get me to buy a new tire, when all it needed was a quick patch up. read more

Gave this place a shot twice. First I took my Volkswagen Jetta for an oil change only to have my light come back on. Had to take it to the dealership for them to tell me it wasn't changed properly (filter was not replaced). But gave them another shot. The second time they told me that my tire was irreparable and I needed to purchase an entirely new tire. I decided to get a second opinion since they didn't handle my car right the first time. Turns our Discount Tire fixed it for free and said it was not as bad as they said! I've seen this a couple times in reviews too which is kind of bummer. People were nice though! read more

Zero stars would be preferable! We've had mixed bag service in the past, but this was beyond the pale. We called the Goodyear 1800 number because we noticed our tire pressure light was on. We were thrilled when they found us a spot at to be seen today, so I rushed over to drop the car off. At the store, the lone employee told me "nope, Thursday is the earliest." I showed her the confirmation number, to which she replied "we don't schedule through the online service." Didn't matter that we spoke with a person who gave us a time and a location (and an email confirmation), it was just "too bad, booked through Thursday" and a general "not my problem" attitude. I expressed that I was frustrated with this horrible communication, and got a "sorry you feel that way, but nothing I can do." I let her know I'd be reviewing the location, and she couldn't care less. Guess we're Firestone people now! read more

My car wouldn't start and I suspected I needed a new battery. When I couldn't find anyone in my neighborhood with jumper cables, I walked to Firestone where I recently took the car for brakes. They wouldn't lend me their portable jumper cable box saying it was worth $200. I offered to leave my ID, credit card and cell phone. They wouldn't budge, despite having done business with them and considering buying new tires. I went across the street to Goodyear and they lent me the cable box. I was so relieved! Needless to say, I brought my car to Goodyear because they were willing to help me out of a jam. It was the battery. The (like Firestone preciously) recommended I put on new tires, which I did. I would say to never come to this place for business. Ever. I will explain my terrible experience in a few sentences: I am new in town, and needed oil change. I took my car there right when they opened at 7am to avoid waiting. They changed my oil, and instead of having the simple knowledge of most car routine maintenance... They had the complete opposite. NONE. They managed to take off an entire bottom plate to change the oil, which did not need to be touched, and in the process broke off all the screws. The manager Dave, rude from the beginning...then told me that I HAD TO PAY for what THEY broke. (I had to go elsewhere to get it fixed) And to top it off, they gave me a "complementary tire rotation" without asking... Hey thanks guys because when I got home my car tires were wobbling all over the place and I had to drive back, argue, and wait hours for them to rotate my tires again and tighten screws. Really? Not only did they break something, not fix it and try charge me, but also the entire time I was there I was talked back too and disrespected. Awful management, okay employees. Don't waste your time AND money. read more

Nothing but good things to say about this specific store. I was helped out by the manager. When I brought it in for a oil change they unscrewed the oil cap, and the cap snapped in half. Causing it to fall into the system. I ended up having to pay $300 to get it towed, and $200 to get it repaired. Even though it was probably the fault of the previous oil change people who screwed the cap on too tightly, the manager still wrote me a check to reimburse me. read more

First time bringing my car here for an oil change. It took four hours of me waiting without getting a call before I called them asking what was going on. They said they were closing up, and after telling them what number my car was in their system (lucky I happened to remember that) they finally realized they had it and it was finished. I have given them plenty of business over the last few years and they always seem to struggle or completely BLOW it! !st of all....I shouldn't have to leave my vehicle ALL DAY to get an oil change! I know they were busy but.....c'mon. My big gripe!!!! :: I bought NEW tires on Tire Rack and had them shipped to this Good Year. They mounted the tires and probably balanced them. However!!!!, they did not even suggest an alignment. Which apparently, I needed. After about a year and a half, the tires are bad and needed to be replaced. I noticed a bad wobble from 70-80 mph. I brought the truck back and complained that they were new tires and already so far gone, that they needed to be replaced. We're talking $800-$1000+ They made no attempt to do ANYTHING for me. Needless to say, I will NEVER go back. I went to Sears Auto Center in Cherry Creek. Awesome new Michelins. Balanced and aligned. Awesome customer service. WOBBLE = GONE! I wanted to get some winter tires for my car. This is to be my first winter in the snow and I really could use the extra traction as my driving skills adjust. I called them up and they, like everyone else, did not have the tires in stock, but unlike several of the other places I called they actually called me back with a quote. In the end they were the lowest price in town which was great. The final price was about what I would have paid to online, but with the added advantage of getting the tires sooner. The people we friendly but the only reason this is not a five star was that even with an appointment I still had to wait around longer than I'd been first told it would take. They said that one of their machines was broken and that was the cause of the delay. All in all, a good experience. read more

I'm always so nervous as a female going into any auto type place-even tires. I try to do my reasarch. Well, I had the unfortunate situation of my tire dying of me-I had used and abused it too long, and it was dead, dead, dead. The other crappy thing was bc it's a Honda 4WD and the treading on the other 3 tires was fading, I had to get all 4 tires replace-yikes! BUT...When I called ahead of time, they were super nice. I was actually late by 2hr., but they still had my order form. They looked over the car, and gave me a price that would be good for 2mo. I originally spoke to just one of the guys, and then Dave the owner/manager took over. He was really nice, and actually gave me (2) price quotes for different tires. There was also a rebate he told me about. He was easy going when I said I couldn't have it done now, but would have to wait till the end of the month. The tires got on, yesterday I got my $60 rebate back and I've been rolling around Denver one happy girl. read more
