Our regular repair shop is moving and so closed for a time. We flexed to Urban as an alternative and so glad we did. Jessie, the tech writer, was such a Knowledgeable and friendly interface. She knows her stuff and helped us diagnose and determine next steps with our low maintenance Subaru cross trek. We paid for a thorough inspection which normally I might shy away from but they did a great job. We ultimately went with some recommendations and scheduled some others for later. The interactions were friendly and professional. The work space is clean and organized. They are pretty timely and flexed a bit at the end of the day so we could get there to pick up the rig. Transmission. Brakes. Differential. Service. Belt replacement. Nothing out of the ordinary and the work dramatically improved the performance and handling. Peter was extremely helpful I came in, during the middle of my shift, due to one of my tires having a puncture and started rapidly leaking air. Although they were busy and couldn't patch my tire right away Peter went above and beyond and installed my spare tire so I could finish my shift then come back and get my fulled patched tire. Urban Autocare is right in our 'hood. we've used them several times to fix our mitsubishi sorts car. they are very nice, they consult with you and help you decide which repairs should be done sooner, and which ones maybe could wait a while ha ha. they've always done a great job, and delivered the car back when promised. I bought a car after this company said it was good to go with only a few simple repairs- back breaks and a hose- they did say it needed flushes that the dealership had just done!! All else was fine even though it seemed to have starting problems- they said the battery was fine - it wasn't- we had to change it? Well, I still went back to this company I must be a gluten for punishment -because now the passenger door would not open plus the back deck closing button isn't working- I gave an ok to spend $550 for for a forty dollar part and labor and the deck they couldn't find the part? The next day it wouldn't start- what the heck? They called to see how the car was and admitted there must be a short but took no responsibility to help just please bring it back for another $300.00. I don't know what is worse the fact that I trusted this company before I purchased the vehicle or that they take no responsibility for screwing up what is really going on? Beware - they say they care but my experience is they don't! read more

Jermain was very accommodating and worked us into their schedule to repair the Acura MDX's air conditioning. I just had an oil change and tire rotation done on my Subaru Crosstrek and they did an excellent job. My service advisor, Ted, was very friendly and helpful from booking thru payment at the end. He explained all of the things they had done and went through the list of recommendations for future service, explaining things well. I dropped my car off around 8:30am and told them I didn't need it urgently but they still had it ready by 12:30 which I felt was totally reasonable for the service I needed and the fact that I told them I wasn't in a rush. We called Urban Autocare 8am on a Friday while we were on our way to check in for surgery at the nearby hospital. We had a massive brake malfunction on the way down to Denver and had no idea how we were going to get home. Beau took our call and met us at the hospital 10 minutes later. I've been going to urban auto care for about 8 years and can't recommend them enough. It looks like they've grown substantially in the last few years, but their service and kindness hasn't changed a bit. They still treat me like a friendly neighbor. I've had some fairly major problems with my car (like a faulty transmission) and they were transparent and talked with me about all of my options and helped me weigh the pros and cons of service. They are a bit more expensive than other chain shops, but it's well worth it to know that you can trust your mechanics. read more

I came in here because my check engine light came on, they were able to check right away and determine whether or not it was a serious issue. It wasn't me they made an appointment for me the following week. There was a lot that needed help on my car that I had put off and they were able to accommodate all of those needs in a single visit. When they determined the issues with the car, I wasn't just given a price tag and told what the issue was. They walked me through it step by step how they diagnose what is wrong and why they came to the conclusion they did. Obviously they know what they are doing and could just tell me a price and run with it, but I feel a lot better knowing exactly why I'm paying what I'm paying and feel confident in the service they are providing. Nick and Zach were the two that I spoke with the most. Honestly even if I was given a discount for service elsewhere, I'd still probably bring it back here just because I know the quality of service I'm getting and the communication throughout service was above average. read more

I've been bringing my Nissan Sentra to Urban Autocare for about a year and a half now. I had recently moved to the state and found that they were close to me and had great reviews so I gave them a try. It's been four or five visits since then (oil changes, comprehensive scopes, new tires..) and I'm super happy with them! Extremely nice staff who explain everything to me in a way I can understand. They provide me with recommendations on what to update on my car for safety and the health of my car, but they also explain when things aren't necessary but just recommended (like when I have a tight budget). I love this body shop. I was visiting Denver from out of town, and after driving across country, I needed new tires and had a host of other problems and so I gave Urban a call to make an appointment. Beau, at the front desk, was so awesome, trustworthy, and a happy, all-around good guy to work with. My car turned out PHENOMENAL!! I got an oil change while I was there and was so pleased because the last time I got my oil changed at my normal place in NC, they didn't reset the sensor and I had to keep clearing a message that my oil needed to be changed. It turned out that there was some sort of issue with resetting the sensor, which Urban took the time to find and fix and my other shop did not. I will be looking for a new shop back home next time I have issues... They fixed my weird alignment issue, replaced my tires, and fixed my squealing belt - all stuff I had been needing majorly. I also LOVED the online safety check that went through like 50 points of inspection. It made me feel a lot safer to know what was in the "yellow" as opposed to "green" and allowed me to make decisions on what to do about what was in the "red." I found the portal really simple to use, informative, and comprehensive. Thank you Urban!! If I find myself back in Denver, I will definitely use you guys again for car repairs. read more

Extremely frustrating interaction. I made an appointment for oil change and tire rotation, nothing major. I'm new to the neighborhood and have a new car, so I'm looking for a new and stellar car shop to match. I dropped my car at 8 am and told Nick at the front desk I'd need it by 1 pm. I hadn't received a call saying my car was ready, but I show up at 12:55pm because I need my car back. No one is in the office. I wait a few minutes. Nick comes out. Says it's not ready. Goes to get my keys and says, "There was an electric issue with another car." Fine. I said, "I told you I needed my car by 1 and I had it scheduled with you at 8 this morning." He says, "Well, scheduled to drop off at 8." Yes, my car was scheduled for a drop off at 8am, I thought this was my appointment for maintenance. I said I needed it back by one, you said there was an issue with another car- that's fine.  The thing lacking is communication. I need to be in the loop on the schedule and changes to my car. If he was a mechanic, sure more leeway. But the person who lacked all forms of communication was wearing slacks at the front desk- maybe he's the owner, maybe he's billing, whatever. I don't want to take my car here because a miscommunication and a schedule conflict occurred with an OIL CHANGE/tire rotation. If that can't be well managed, I have no interest in seeing how you manage bigger issues. They may be the best mechanics around, sadly I wouldn't know. read more

This place is honest and does quality work. They gave me a second opinion on my 1996 Toyota Camry repairs that another shop in town had diagnosed and they shortly noticed the other shop was in it for the money. They saved me about $5K in un-needed repairs and did only what was necessary for my car. I've since returned with my other Toyotas and they always do quality work. They aren't necessarily the cheapest, but they are honest and back their work with a great warranty on the repair. Phil and his staff are top-notch and always courteous. It's worth driving a little further to get quality work done on my cars. read more
