Went in had my oil changed on my 2021 truck. After a few day a little drip on the driveway. Took it back told nothing to worry about. Over the next few weeks a drip turned into an oil leak(photo). Made the trip to the dealership for service, turned out the tech at grease monkey forgot to take the old gasket off from the filter. Two gaskets does not make it better. I will never get my vehicle serviced by this organization again. I got my oil changed here in March, and my next oil change came due today. When I pulled up, the young man who greeted me informed me that they did not have any 0W-20 Full Synthetic for my vehicle. I looked up at the sticker they had placed in my window from the previous visit and informed him that, according to their own sticker, they used 5W-20 Full Synthetic on my previous oil change. The young man then said that he needed to speak with his manager. When the manager came back, he told me that he would only use 5W-20 Full Synthetic so long as I understood that he would not warranty the work. I then asked him why his location gave me 5W-20 on the previous visit, while pointing at the sticker in my window. Without asking, he rudely reached into my vehicle while saying, "Let me see that sticker." I briefly tried to help him pull the sticker, but then he was able to grab it, but stopped when the first person tried to claim that I was lying because my license plate didn't show up in the system. I was trying to explain to him that I had received service under an out of state license plate on my previous visit and had since registered my vehicle in Colorado, but couldn't get a word out about this before the manager ripped the sticker off of my windshield. By this point, it was pretty obvious that these two were entirely untrustworthy, so I decided not to use their services, at which point the manager made sure to walk away with the sticker he had so rudely pulled from my vehicle. So, to recap, they started by refusing me service, then said that they would only provide the same service they had provided before on the understanding that they would not warranty their work, and then finished by walking away with evidence that showed they were negligent in the performance of their duties. This extremely unprofessional and negligent behavior is what gives this profession such a bad name. Both of these people should find another line of work, as they are a hazard to both their customers and their employers. EDIT - I tried reporting this directly to Grease Monkey, but the "Contact Us" page on their website shows "No Results Found". Seems as though this poor behavior may be a "top-down" failure as their corporate office provides no means of reporting issues. read more

I took my car in about six months ago for an oil change. I tried to take it to the dealership for another oil change recently only to find the last people who changed the oil over torqued the oil filter cap. It's so tight that it broke the tool the dealership tried to use. The dealership tried to get it open for about an hour but couldn't do it. Now they want over $300 to break and rebuild the oil filter cap!! Don't hire people who don't know what they're doing or train them better please!!! read more

Wondered why I smelled oil after the oil change was done. Next morning there's smoke coming out my vents. Turned out they left the oil cap off when they finished changing the oil. So this is gonna be long, but I can't show enough appreciation to Jordan and his crew today. I noticed an oil leak. They got me right in and advised me that the place I had the change done had not tightened the filter or the cap. They tightened both free of charge, topped off what oil I had lost, washed my windshield, and even gave me sound advice, and a sample of something I could use to help with my engine. And the best part, was they did it all with a smile on their face. I was glad my son was their to witness what decent people and great customer service should be. Those guys just restored my faith in humanity on top of making my day and giving me my piece of mind back about my vehicle. Oil filter not screwed on and caused a leak. Mgr gave a refund and coupon. Are you kidding me? I would never use grease monkey ever ever again. They also put air in my tires after rotating and they were Wayover. The specifications in all four tires were different pressures. read more

I came to this shop and i was immediately helped. I told manuel what was wrong with my oil filter system, he told me what I did wrong and what i needed to do to fix it, he even let me go down to see what they do so i can learn. the staff are friendly and really outgoing! definitely going to come back and do my oil change here! read more

I've came here solely for a couple decades now but I can't continue. I came here for an oil change for my jeep as usual, except this time when I return home I have oil leaking all over my drive way. I didnt even have a drop on it before the oil change. I decided to take it back and they got me in quick to take a look. They came out saying "you're all set" and I had to ask what the issue was. He says "oh yeah, looks like they didn't wash it off" which still doesn't make sense. There was a ton of oil leaking out so having to wash it off seems unlikely to be the issue. I could be wrong so I'll keep an eye on it but this is ridiculous. Over 90 bucks for an oil change and now my jeep is leaking oil. Very disappointed and I've already contacted the corporate office. read more

I had been coming to this Grease Monkey pretty consistently until recently. The main reason I used to go here was because of one of the team members's excellent customer service skills, who greeted me every time I came in, he made me feel like I could trust him with my vehicle, and he always gave me fair prices. The most recent time I came in, it was on a Sunday, and a different man told me I was not due for an oil change when I definitely was. I was over 500 miles than the suggested date on the sticker they had given me from my last oil change. I also had checked my oil myself before I came in, and it did look like it needed to be changed (it was dark brown and dirty). He told me that "I could go another 5,000 miles" on my current oil. I'm assuming that they did not want my business that day. I would recommend to anyone reading this to go to a different location. read more

I have been going to grease monkey since I've had a car. I go and get my oil change there because they don't charge to much and usually get the job done, but always ask if I want extra things done to my car. Today my boyfriend took in my car to get an oil change. They told him he needed to get something else done and it would only cost $10. Well after 10 minutes they come back and tell my boyfriend it's going to be $95. Keep in mind an oil change is only $45. They told my boyfriend that they were unable to take out what they did and had to charge him the $95. I will never be going back to grease monkey. Thank you for stealing money from people read more

Grease Monkey location: 18401 E Hampden Ave. Aurora, CO. I Left my car for a simple oil change, came back an hour later, the work was not completed. No voicemail, no text, no nothing. The excuse was that the employee did not want to leave a message because he didn't know if my phone was a personal phone or not. What? How else do we communicate these days?I think you have a lazy crew over there. It's no wonder there was no wait, no line, etc. When I came to pick up my car, no one was at the register. I waited 5 minutes, then had to go into the garage to ask if anyone was working the register. The 2 employees that I saw in the garage were on their cell phones doing personal business, definitely not communicating with customers. I will take my car to an actual auto repair shop instead.
