I started my interaction with the Manager by presenting my $20 off coupon, which he said he would honor, no exceptions. Then he proceeded to present other work that could be completed with my approval. The manager seemed to be under the influence. When my bill was presented by the service technician he said my coupon was not presented upfront so he couldn't honor it. When I bauked he said I would have to wait for the manager to return from somewhere off-site to get the discount. The manager returned from somewhere off-site and said I would have to wait a week for HR to approve the refund. He wasn't even going to issue a new receipt. I made him write the refund info on the original and sign it. What other proof would I have? In the end even with my coupon my bill was $200+++ dollars. Way too much! Service may be fast, but it is sloppy. Poor customer service. read more

I went in for an oil change and when I checked out, they said the vehicle was looking good, but when I got home, there was a note that said major oil leak. I haven't been able to call, so I emailed and asked (since it seems fairly important to my and others safety) and they haven't responded. I came to this location due to the fact that I had a great experience last year with oil change. This evening, a little before 5PM, I came for an oil change and was told it would be about an 1 1/2 hour wait. I said yes and waited in the lobby. At 7:08PM one of the workers came into the lobby and said "We officially close at 7PM and the car in front of me would be the last one tonight." Over 2 hours waiting with no apology he hands me my keys and lets me know they open at 8:am tomorrow and he could set me up an appointment. read more

I came for my scheduled appointment time, which I made online. I was told by the assistant manager that they can't accommodate appointments at this time. He said 3 other people recently have had appointments which they couldn't accommodate. He got me in within 20 min of my scheduled time which I am so grateful for. I was in and out in under an hour. They kept me informed along the way about other things I need to keep an eye out for. 5 stars for service But corporate or whoever is in charge of the website needs to remove the appointment option for this location if appointments really can't be accommodated. The staff is always extremely friendly, there's little to no traffic so I get in and out really quickly almost every time. And the mechanics never try to sell me on anything outrageous which as a woman I find that extremely positive. Just got my oil change today and it took me 15 minutes, LOVE IT! I came to this grease monkey 8/14/17 around 1330 for my first time.. I usually go to another Grease Monkey, and I am well known to their services. I have never encountered such unwelcoming, unfriendly, unprofessional and such poor customer service. I entered the parking lot and parked in front of the car area, where the employee's gave me strange looks, so I decided to park in one the parking slots. Once I entered the building it took ten minutes for someone to greet me and tell me that I need to move my car the other side for them to help me out.... I would of really appreciated if they told me this, when I parked while they were giving me strange looks like" what is this girl doing". I take my car to the back of the place, which is very hard to get to because the parking lot is attached to the gas station which doesn't lead to the back of this Grease Monkey. You have to go through this very narrow back way with no signs or anyone telling us how to get back there... When I finally, find my way to the back of the building the man said give me your keys. This man smelled like he hasn't taken a shower in over two weeks. His body odor and breathe made my stomach twist, which isn't that hard to do to a Nurse. And I asked him to call me when he was done doing an oil change on my car because my friend brought her car also so I didn't wait. But he stated that I needed to go back into the office.. wait about thirty minutes to fill in paper work. Let me say that there was only one other person beside me and my friend sitting inside... while I sit inside this man is taking his smoking break right in front of me. I sat inside waiting to fill out paperwork for over twenty minutes, so my friend and I can leave and come back later to pick up my car... Then I see they start working on my car without even grabbing any information on me or about my car. I don't recommend this Grease monkey to anyone. That don't greet you to say hi how is it going, their attitude stinks just like their body odor, and I really don't trust them to ever touch my car again. What a joke. I got an oil change here in my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee... Immediately started making a vibrating noise. I wasn't mad or upset. I just went back to have them make sure everything was tightened. Was told it was first come first serve and I'd have to wait at least 30 minutes. I asked if I could come back in a half hour and he said I'd just have to get in line again. I'll just take the damn thing to the dealership. Took my truck in for an oil change. When it was done they told me my brake lights were out. Turns out, someone at Grease Monkey pulled my tail light fuse out of my truck. I promptly called the corporate # and explained the situation. No one has contacted me back about this. If you're smart, go someplace else. They told me they pulled up my license plate info as I drove up, and welcomed me by name, knew I was a repeat customer & what my last service was! A gentleman met me at my vehicle before I even got out, asking what he could help me with! He told me it would be a few minutes, I was in and out in less than 5! I'm here with randy, he appears to be running the show here at the grease monkey here on chambers and Quincy, I was here a couple weeks back, when I was here randy informed me that they used a different plug on my oil change but not to worry, since everything was still sealed tight, and for my next oil change I should get a new plug, so now that a good portion of the oil has stained my driveway I'm here waiting while they take a look...... , I'm writing this in real time as I wait let's see how it goes......, now he's explaining how it's not their fault randy choose not to give a quote when asked to be a part of this review , he said he changed some gasket, but all in all I don't feel the love here at the grease monkey here on chambers and Quincy, hopefully it's fixed and I won't have any other issues, but if I do I'll just take the loss and go somewhere else, and I'll definitely be trying another a place for my next oil change just my thoughts.... This company just straight up lied to me. They bring out the air filter for the a/c part of my car and tell me this is not the right filter for my type of car so I'm like thanks for showing me that. I was on my way home and being to lazy to just go buy one and put it in myself so just said "go ahead and change it for me please." After getting home I took a quick second to check it and see what the right one looks like. Come to find they put the same exact kind in my car. So I don't know what else they might have lied to me about so they lost my trust and will not be going back there. read more

I have brought my truck and my wife's car to this location (#42 15321 E Quincy Ave) several times over the last few years, this was the last time. Today I asked for an oil change and a tire rotation as usual. The tech brought me out to look at my truck and informed me my lugs (lug nuts) have been rounded over, that the called for socket won't fit. I told him they were the last to rotate them (my tires). I told them 2 visits ago they rotated them my tires, that last time there was a long delay to do it so we skipped it. We got the manager (Randy), who came out he tried to give me a different story, that this just happens to lugs on Rams and it is not their fault. Really it just happens on a truck with only 56k or so miles? Sounds fishy that my lugs would just be rounded over, and that they were last to take them off. They would not replace them, and offered nothing more. Instead the manager continued explaining to me how they couldn't have done it. At one point another customer decided he didn't like what he was hearing and left, saying the guy I was talking to (Randy) has been rude to him before. As for me, instead of arguing further, I just asked to pay and leave. I have no doubt they will dispute this, with yet another story. Really, all I wanted was an oil change and a tire rotation. What I got was a lot of grief, a need for new lug nuts, and still need the tire rotation. I liked bringing my vehicles here because it was convenient, now it is not. We, and no one we know will be going to this location, if any in the future. :( read more

I use to like this location a lot! But now there rude and they don't communicate amongst each other about the work that there doing! I went in to get my fluids filled and I was told I had to get a full oil change since I was over my miles for when the previous oil change was done! I got the oil change but the main reason I was there was for my power steering fluid and transmission fluid. When they have me my keys back after everything was suppose to be done. I asked if they made sure I had power steering fluid and transmission fluid, and the guy said "that's what they said" very rude and gave me my receipt. So I left and notices my car was sill acting funny so I decided to go to another grease monkey to have them check the work and sure enough they hadn't put any power steering fluid in or transmission fluid! They where both so dry that i used whole bottles for both the power steering and transmission! If I didn't go check I probably wouldn't have a car right now! So I do not recommend this place at all! There rude and sloppy! They most definitely need new management and workers that love what they do! This place sucks!! read more
