Dirty rag and something brown on the floor. Magazines all over the chairs. Filthy floor.

I hate to give bad reviews but I just can't give a good one from my experience today. The employees were friendly and respectful so I will give them that. They were not trying to push services on me. I suppose my oil change was fine. The problem was that the waiting area was so filthy. When I pulled up I was the only car and all of the employees were just sitting around so I do not believe the waiting area was messy due to them being too busy. It also smelled pretty bad in there. Additionally they did not check my tire pressure and my low tire pressure light was on when I got back into my car. They apparently did run the vacuum on the floor of my drivers seat but they put the mat back in all wonky and I had to clip it back into place before I could drive off.

Just you're at the right place.

Went as expected. More honest than other places I've used recently, so I recommend due to honesty.

He was the reason I wanted to get the suspension serviced here as his explanation of what I needed done showed his mastery of his craft. However after taking the car to Tesla to get a 2nd opinion I discovered that this shop (not the tech) was trying to charge me literally a 200% markup on the parts to do the repair. Crazy right!!! The genuine Tesla parts for the repair were $209 and these guys quoted those same parts out to $614 (I sent him the estimate from Tesla with the exact cost of the parts). Unfortunately for me Tesla wouldn't work on the car because of an aftermarket body kit the previous owner had installed. I really liked the mechanic at this shop, so I went back to this shop with the intention to move forward even though their cost was literally 56% more ($1,635 vs $2,555) then Tesla for the same work (because of the price gouging on the parts). Then when I asked about it before my approval to move forward the manager got snarky and said how would you expect us to stay in business if we don't markup the parts. I said and I quote "I get a markup on the parts and your high hourly rate for the labor on the work but not a 200% markup on the parts." The guy gave an excuse about the software they use but was unwilling to budge on the price gouging. I literally said why don't you let me buy the parts directly from Tesla and you can still mark them up 25% and he still said no. I was completely professional throughout the conversation, but obviously would not pay a 200% markup on parts on top of the already top of market labor they charge. After the conversation he texted me back and we agreed to not move forward. I only leave this review to warn others. It's a bad business practice to over charge people like that and so I just wanted to give people my story warning them to watch out and be careful before doing any work here. Update: this slime ball's disclosure of all the information I gave his manager, Steve, in good faith is abhorrent. Everything he mentioned on the car was told to them right up front as I told it to the manager, Steve, in person and this clown is repeating word for word what I told his manager. I was cool with this at first but this guy is a complete scum bag now using my own words and lying about it. Anyways besides being a scum bag, no effort at all was made regarding the parts and this shops 200% markup. I literally told the guy running the shop I would buy the parts myself and let them mark it up 25% and still the answer was a quick no. Everything I said was honest and accurate and don't appreciate this guy claiming transparency when his long shpeel was essentially just a my own words complaining about the car I bought and his shops poor excuse for price gauging. They could have done the job without gauging me on the price given I had the option to buy the parts myself. Not cool at all the response from this guy and his piss poor excuse for attempting to rip me off.

Yelp Review - Sal's Auto Tech, Centennial, CO I've never had…read morea more traumatic automotive experience in my life. On March 4, 2026, I drove my 2007 RAV4 to Sal's Auto Tech for a simple battery and alternator replacement. My car is my lifeline and income source, and at the time, my temporary home. I called the shop that morning; Audrey was friendly but told me I'd need to bring the car in for an estimate. I arrived around 10 AM, waited an hour in the office, then the mechanic took me to the shop -- my car was already lifted on the hoist. Instead of focusing on my simple request, the mechanic spent hours inspecting tires, brakes, suspension, and the underside, ignoring me repeatedly. I eventually asked about the price for the battery and alternator. The mechanic acted offended, and another employee quoted $1,700. and they installed them, but during the process broke my radiator. Then I was told a piece of my radiator had been broken by their mechanic. They said it could be fixed the next morning. I asked if I could stay in the parking lot safely overnight -- they refused. When I requested my property back, they called the police and had me trespassed. I was humiliated, scared, and forced to drive 7 miles to a Walmart parking lot to sleep safely. The next morning, I towed my car back to the shop ($190). I met with Sal, gave him the broken radiator piece, and he was rude, dismissive, and baffled that their mechanics had broken it. He told me I was trespassed and could not stay near the property. Even after two days, the radiator was still not properly repaired -- just topped off. On March 6, they sent me a handwritten note falsely blaming me for radiator damage. The accusations were completely false and misleading, adding stress on top of an already humiliating situation. I drove 10 miles to Denver, and the temperature gauge went immediately red. I went straight to Jiffy Lube, where within five minutes, they discovered the lower radiator hose had never been connected, spilling coolant everywhere. They fixed it promptly, refilled the radiator, and confirmed my car was safe. During this entire ordeal, I lost income every day, was ignored, dismissed, and gaslit, and experienced fear and humiliation from being trespassed and blamed. The shop clearly took their time because they knew I couldn't confront them on-site, and their attitude made it clear they found my distress amusing. My experience was not just bad service -- it was emotionally traumafinancially damaging, and completely unprofessional. If you rely on your car for work, safety, or even basic transportation, do not go to Sal's Auto Tech. They broke my property, refused to take responsibility, involved the police unnecessarily, and left me stranded. I cannot overstate the stress, fear, and frustration I endured. Honest, competent mechanics at Jiffy Lube resolved the issue in minutes -- something Sal's could have done immediately. Avoid this shop entirely.

The last time I took my car to the dealership was the last straw and ended up costing me over $2000 despite my repeated calls to the service guy who never returned my calls. Anyway, after some research and reading reviews I took my baby to Next Auto which happens to be close to my home. There is no pressure sales talk, just honest information and pricing. There was the day that when I tried to start my car and a bunch of scary red lights turned on at once. Luckily the car started, I called Next auto dropped off the car, and it was repaired the next day. I researched the problem and it's a usual occurance in 10 year old Subarus.

Next Auto is a perfect example of why consumers hate and fear auto mechanics. As a repeat customer,…read moreI brought my vehicle in for an oil change, after which I was presented with a list of recommended repairs. Specifically, I was told that my control arms needed to be replaced at a cost of over $2,000. Skeptical of this diagnosis, I sought a second opinion from H&H Automotive. After inspecting the vehicle on a lift, they used a flashlight to show me that the control arms were in good condition and did not require replacement. Furthermore, H&H Automotive identified that my front struts needed to be replaced and discovered two oil leaks--issues that Next Auto completely failed to diagnose. Had I followed Next Auto's recommendations, I would have paid for unnecessary repairs while the actual mechanical issues remained unaddressed. This experience has left me questioning whether these actions were a result of incompetence or a deliberate attempt to mislead a returning customer (or both). I no longer feel comfortable trusting my vehicle to this establishment. Try H&H Automotive instead.

I came into Service Street - Highlands Ranch for an oil change and tire rotation. I also mentioned…read morethat the display on my dashboard was showing low air in my right-front tire. The sensor was reading 28 psi. While travelling to Yellowstone National Park, this light came on, and I pulled over and checked for a nail (I didn't find any). I stopped at the nearest gas station to check the air in that tire and it was fine. I put a little more air in that tire just to be sure. The gauge read 40 psi+, the dash displayed 28 psi (and did not change). What I realized later was that I put air in a tire that did not need it and overinflated to approximately 40 psi. When I arrived back in town from our vacation, I instructed the technicians to check all the tires and have them all inflated to 35 psi (Per the manufacturer's recommendation). When I picked up my truck, the low tire pressure light was off, but now ALL the tires were reading 46-47 psi! I asked the tech about this and he said, "Yeah, when you brought it in, all of the tires were really low - the highest one had 17 psi. So, I inflated all the tires to 35 psi, as instructed." When asked why the display on my dash said 46 - 47 psi, he shrugged and said something to the effect that sometimes the sensors are off a little. I questioned why they would be "off" by 10+ psi. So, the next day, I took the truck to the Discount Tire next door and had them double-check the air pressure. Just as I suspected, ALL of the tires were OVER-INFLATED to 46 psi! As the tires were being deflated by the technician at Discount Tire, the sensor for the first tire did not match the tire being deflated. According to Google, " TPMS sensors need to be reset (relearned) on GMC trucks after a tire rotation to ensure the vehicle correctly identifies the new location of each tire. This prevents the driver information center from displaying wrong tire pressures for specific positions. The process is often called a "TPMS Relearn." This process was not done at Service Street. If a technician can't do something as simple as inflate a tire to the proper tire pressure, how can they be trusted to do something more technical? This company has lost my business. P.S. I want my money back for the other pre-paid oil changes. I'll take my business elsewhere.
